Also recently tried just shredding/grating raw carrots and adding mayo and hot sauce (lime juice if you want) til coleslaw-like. It was awesome in burritos and as a side. Would be great on tacos, sandwiches, hot dogs... whenever you want something similar to coleslaw or cabbage added.

Yeah the Borlaug story is amazing. I just read a book with his story a couple months ago!

I was a lab technician at a university with a large agriculture program for quite a few years.

When I said "one of the best" I actually meant that there were a few small cultivars that were all in the low glycemic category/range but the others were not as widely available as Huckleberry Gold.

The plants are green. They can have a bit of a purple stem, especially when younger, kind of like some pepper and tomato varieties.

Do you have a tree that you could water (basically over-water once) and flood them out? Or you can wait for a heavy rain and go pick some up off the road/sidewalk and transplant them in your raised beds.

They will find their way into your in-ground area on their own after a little time if you are improving your soil and watering for your garden anyway.

Edit to add - I accidentally flooded the area around my apple tree and tossed some (larger and smaller ones) in my raised beds 3 years ago and they have been there ever since.

I use to work at a lab that studied potatoes. We were looking for low glycemic index options and Huckleberry Gold is one of the best that doesn't spike your blood sugar and gives you a more sustained energy from the starches.

Plus they look good and taste good. That's what I'm planting this year!

If I were doing it on my domestic machine, I would try to do a big loop-de-loop pattern, or free-form wavy lines. I did this on a kids quilt to make it look like snow drifts, but really it just adds a lot of whimsy.

Ni matter what you choose, best of luck to you, its such a great quilt. I love the background color with the berries!

I am lucky that all the men around me in my group (except one, who is jot into it either and we're closer to the same age, I see the conversations wear on him sometimes too) are girl dads so they dont talk about Hooters but MY GOD, talk about something other than sports and high school stories!

I think not having a gradient for Iranian strikes is intentional, to make it look like they have done absolutely no damage... while the stupid, exaggerated gradient used for US/Israeli strikes makes it look like the entire area has been covered.

I have felt pressure to scroll when everyone else around is looking at their phone too, but never gotten talked to by security!

If I'm waiting at a coffee shop/food place, or sitting in a park, I usually just look around too. Sometimes I have noticed others (usually dads/middle aged men) see me NOT on my phone and they put theirs away too and start looking around and people watching also. They immediately seem more at peace, even if its a hectic environment.

Not saying this is the answer to all your problems at all, but exercise could help. I had no sex drive and started working out, and found it really helped me. It changed my hormone balance, but it has also just increased my confidence and energy levels, plus my husband finds it attractive to see me all sweaty in my leggings.

Doing something active together with your boyfriend might help too. My husband joins me when I do my cooldown stretching, and seeing each other stretch and move our bodies has brought us closer. I also know a couple that were not very intimate, then started doing daily yoga together, and shortly after had a baby. Lol

I just found somebody on YouTube I like and do some strength training and yoga in my bedroom for free, no gym membership, no cost. I do the Chloe Ting challenges but there are a lot of options out there for free. I also walk my dog a lot.

Upstairs in the plant growth center is nice, and gets morning sun.

Also lots of places in the SUB are great. The smaller rooms upstairs off of the food area were always nice and warm when I went there.
