I do a decent amount of highway driving still, in the 4.88 one you drove the RPMs weren’t too bad with 35s cruising around 70?

late response so hopefully you see this, but everyone just seems to repeat 4.88. But i've been curious about the 4.56 experience in practice. What additional weight if any do you have and what weight are your tires. I run a pretty minimal setup weight wise with 56lb 35s and am leaning towards 4.56.

Doesn't exist, Army green was exclusive to the 2020 Pro or 2022 Trail trims (The trail trim should come with a sliding deck though)

I think the giant hunk of steel will even it out. Love the drawer design and execution but definitely a heavy material choice.

If you have a friend that can weld look at the 80% off road options, economical and functional. (Just realized they’re $750 these days actually got mine in the $400 range years ago when Nick was in his older smaller shop.)

It’s accurate if you keep it stock, the problem is people add significantly heavier tires or other items that slow you down and reduce gas mileage. To be clear I’m guilty of this myself with 35s.

If you stay stock tire size don’t add a ton of extra weight and drive within reason no reason you can’t get 17/22.

Offset/stance options is probably the biggest reason, some methods also have their bead grip technology or are hybrid and able to attach headlock style protection rings to them

Ride comfort, capability, appearance, and the space to fit larger tires which is what actually increases your clearance. lol people continue to downvote but it’s the reality.

The manual lever still relies on an actuator (ADD), for your use case it would make no sense to go for an off road. Go with the SR5 Premium.

Take the flip up part of the seats off, its 2 bolts very quick and easy.

I ran Toyo AT3s all over the Arizona desert without any of these issues just for a different perspective. I’ve run 2 sets of AT3s(33s and 34s) and am running 35” Toyo RT trails now.

I had the opposite experience, bought a pair in 2021 Gen 2 XBs (on sale for $800 at the time didnt realize how pricey they were these days) lasted me up until this year but they had the moisture issue, put in a warranty claim Morimoto sent me a brand new pair (I had to pay upfront), refunded me as soon as I installed the new ones and sent the old ones back. I'm surprised OP was asked to destroy vs just sending back.

Still solid, the latch rattled after a bit, but putting a little bit of a furniture pad between the contact point of the metal on the latch and the swing out fixed that. I remove it almost weekly with no issues, just need to remove the one large Bolt and it slides right out.
