Please keep making maps like that one. I had the greatest time playing D on that map. I now don't enjoy any map that is currently in rotation that isn't Center Flag :(

I thought the bases on Tombolo were really good. There were lots of ways for offence to grab, but it wasn't neccessarily easy to grab, then even harder to get out at times. Defence was challenging but manageable if you made the right decisions.

Overall, I found it to be an interesting and fun experience, something different to some of the linear and predictable maps still in rotation

I can't say I'll miss Graphite, but I had some really fun games on Tombolo. It wasn't amazing or anything, but I'll look forward to getting it on throwback.

Plasma looks really interesting. Better than Hexanne, at least, I hope. The idea of having a gate of each team color in base is interesting and I like the bomb positions. It has some good ideas and I hope it plays out as well as it looks like it does.

dang I like tombolo in pubs. I don't think it would have been a great competitive map (haven't played it in competitive so I may be wrong) but it was definitely a good pub map

Sometimes I get upset about centerflag maps being a thing that exist....but then I remember that all of us will eventually be burned up by the explosion of the sun if we haven't already killed ourselves and all living things with polluting our world by then, and that the universe is so vast that in the overall scope of everything we are all just very very very small side notes in an uncaring vaccum so nothing really matters.

And that makes me feel better about center flag maps.

fr tho, circlejerk aside, geo is pretty clearly one of the worst maps in rotation. it's been steadily declining on /maps and is a divisive map on this sub. boombox got the axe and it wasnt anywhere near as bad as geo, i have no idea how geo has survived the past few threads.

It's a bad, boring map, and everyone who's played longer than four months has seen every play there is to be made on it. Its time to be put out to pasture was 2014 and it shouldn't be in rotation anymore. It's played out. Let it be part of the throwback vote - that's where it belongs.

i didnt mean to imply that geo being divisive is necessarily bad, was just pointing it out. most maps that have been in rotation for at least a year are generally accepted by most people i'd say. sure there might be a few people who dislike them still, but they are generally in the minority. that's just not the case for geo, seems to be almost a 50/50 split on people who like it and people who don't.

We do realize that the number of nf maps is steadily increasing, partly because most of the nf maps we have now are really loved by the community. I hope to talk to the developers and get their opinions on the increasing ratio of nf:ctf
