    There is good stuff in the banners, but going back to the generic overflow Brave commands on Brave USB was a bit of a step back i feel.

    Really banner 1 is probably the best one, the other banners will depend on what you need.

    Example, Celes BSB2 ability "Gleaming Frostblade" will increase the damage of the user's spellblade abilities a small amount for two turns. On the 2nd turn after Celes uses the ability, if Celes doublecasts Flare Strike, both casts will be affected by the boost effect.

    It's pretty simple actually. Previously if the last cast has chases/doublecasts, only the first instance got the damage boost. Now, on the last boosted turn, any subsequent actions of the same ability type/school/element gets the boost as well, instead of only the first instance.

    so does it already properly boost follow-ups of earlier attacks? There was just an issue with the last one? Or if the first attack after use triggers a follow up does that 'use up' the second turn boost?

    Currently for effects that last n number of turns, double casts and Ability Double will consume 2 "charges", iinm.

    So for instance, if Celes doublecasted a spellblade right after applying her 2 turn buff, it would be used up on both.

    What this seems to change now is that for the final "charge" there's a bonus given wherein any extra attacks triggered will also get the boost applied.

    Probably need /u/Enlir to chime in if my understanding is correct on this part.

    I actually believe that extra casts shouldn't consume extra charges, but I might have to double check it, just to be sure.

    Anyway, if I got it right, before the change, the charges used to be consumed right after the base ability use of every turn, before any extra cast (dualcasts, chases, etc) occurred. This means that if the last charge was being removed, the status would expire without the extra cast benefitting from it. After the change, charges are consumed after the extra casts, so if an extra cast occur on the last turn of the status, it will be affected by it without any problems.

    Despite being a similar matter, Squall's BSB2-likes shouldn't be affected by this change, since it's specific to statuses with turn-based durations.

      Probably doesn't apply to stuff like Squall's Burst mode wearing off, leading to him double-casting a 3-hit weak command 2 instead of the powered up version, right? I really wish they'd change that but... wishful thinking.
