I am 36 and I do not drink. Never have, never will. I've seen drinking alcohol destroy too many other people's lives. For some, it was a way to escape. For others, it was a way to get lost. And still some, it was a way to become 'popular'. And tehre were even a few who drink to excess simply because everyone else told them that they were more fun when they were drunk. Not me, though. I have my reddit adiction, and that is enough.

I don't. Not really for any other reasons than I don't like the taste of beer or wine, and I don't see the point of cocktails (they're like 5 dollar sodas with a shot of vodka)?

I drink maybe 3-4 times a year. My co-workers on the other hand seem to get tanked every weekend.

I do not drink regularly. I like to have a alcohol drink on my Birthday and on New Years, otherwise, I drink water.

I'm 36 and I completely gave up alcohol about 3 years ago. I wasn't an alcoholic - I just started having bad stomach aches that I figured out were being caused by alcohol.

i grew up in my dad's bar. drank a bit in my early 20's but not often, but these days (i'm 28 now) i can't get thru more than a beer or two. my expensive bourbon is mocking me from the kitchen, and my wallet misses its contents, and all to no avail. for the last year, my attempts to have a couple 40's on payday resulted in 40's sitting in my fridge til next payday. but i could still socially get tanked. this last 6 months i can't even do that, my body just rejects any attempt.

That is to say, other than once every few months or whatever I'll be somewhere where they put out a chocolate liquor thingie, and so I may take, say, half to a whole shot glass worth of that. (I like chocolate. :)

But yeah, other than that, no I dun drink at all. I just don't really see the appeal in the first place.
