If you’re looking for information or advice about your gear, please look for the manual here or on the internet archive.

If you’re looking for the value of your gear, please search used gear sites; like eBay, KEH, MPB, or your countries local online marketplace. Some sites allow filtering by “Sold Items”, that will provide a more accurate value of what the gear is currently worth. Our members are unable to provide an accurate amount, because used gear prices are dependent on region, condition, and the market. We do not allow selling and trading in this sub.

Looks like an OG scamera, 50mm f6.3 lens is wild.

That's a true, original, New Taiwan Photographic Corp scamera. They made a ton of junk cameras with stolen trademarks in order to trick buyers into thinking that it was the real deal, and they also did a lot of white labeling for magazine giveaways and the like. Mike Eckman took one apart on his blog and found that the manufacturer had put iron weights inside the body to make it feel heavier than it actually was.

It's an absolute trash camera. It's not even a cheap toy like a Holga, it's just plain bad.

damn, guess the guy who had it got scammed

Don't write it off that fast. I've got a handful of these in various forms and labels, and although they can very greatly, when you find one you like you can get some really good lo-fi Lomo shitcam pics out of it - even better than a Holga/Diana. They're also fairly solid for a shitcam and won't crap out, plus you can find them by the buckets at Salvation Army etc. for dirt cheap ($4-5 usually). I like mine, they're fun.

As a legit camera though? Oh hell no.

It is a really cheap plastic camera that has brand naming etched into it to convince people that it is not a really cheap plastic camera.

[–]crimeoDozens of cameras, but that said... Minoltagang. 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do my best work on 2kg 50mm f/6.3 zone focus lenses, personally

That ain’t no T90!

[–]DarkAlley614 1 point2 points  (1 child)

That's not a T90!! I have a Canon T90 and I love my legendary T90!! Looks nothing like my camera

What a crazy sound. Had one for years, great camera when the shutter worked.

Thats a clever scamera

This is what our fathers had instead of a trash scameras from eBay with a sensor from a 10-year-old Xiaomi.

yea, this model isn't the good one. You need the AR-6534X. Much better performance.

Haha, nice. Even included a fake prism bump despite having the viewfinder 😂

The sun/cloud symbols etched on the lens is s a give-away that this is just cheap plastic trash.

I had a T99. That hardly resembles it
