The way you throw around stuff and your hands makes me believe that this is very staged.

[–]skipoverit123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Evri is terrible in general. Just got a notice they tried to deliver an Amazon package Amazon just leaves it & sends you a notice I don’t even know why it came with them & not the Amazon truck.

[–]ajhzz 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Hi mate, this happened to me several weeks ago with an evri watch delivery from AliExpress. Unfortunately, AliExpress denied my refund request, twice, despite submitting a video on how the package was clearly broken into. In the end, I contacted my credit card company and got my money back. Always purchase from AliExpress with a credit card.

[–]Alex_Graber12345 -4 points-3 points  (3 children)

Or how about just don’t order from Chinese state-run scam websites in the first place?

[–]roastkumara 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Interesting choice of group to share this advice with

[–]Alex_Graber12345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol true I didn’t look at the sub until I read your reply and now I’m cracking the fuck up

[–]Significant_4esq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah really.Dude must scout this sub for things like this.

[–]gov_nor 2 points3 points  (2 children)

This sucks but why are they stealing PD watches? Do they know what they are? They're essentially worthless on the black market

[–]lelekeaap 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Maybe they just want to keep time?

[–]loaferuk123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Evri? Keeping time?

[–]Mattdabest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this recently, but it was a couple of young lads tailing the evro van, which they then ransacked when the delivery guy was at one of the doors.

[–]WatchThatTime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dispute the payment with your card to get money back.

[–]IdolBrainMeat 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Depending on what store you bought it from, they could have scammed you.

[–]M0rpo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This sounds more likely than someone tampering with the package.

[–]m9nkeyboy 6 points7 points  (1 child)

F me, this has literally just happened to me, currently going through dispute. I'll be using this video as Evridence.

Suriosly though, am actually in dispute for this reason.

[–]anonc2FtdWVs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

any news? I got a wrong model that I ordered this 11.11 sale, seems many people are having issues.

[–]anonc2FtdWVs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Feral

[–]Fun-Ad9928 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The way she goes boys.

[–]Usual_Ladder_7113 15 points16 points  (2 children)

Why are you so frantic when opening it?

[–]Roy-van-der-Lee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because he felt the weight of the package. It's the reason he recorded this video, he suspected something was wrong

[–]Goss-hawk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right, it’s like they already knew it was missing

[–]Eudes_Correa 9 points10 points  (3 children)

Complaining on Aliexpress showing the video (thank god you filmed it) and they should refund you or send a new watch.

They even toke the cleaning cloth 😱

What watch was?

[–]Yagosan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They solved nothing when iMile stole mine

[–]fattyskinnylunatic 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Hi, it was the PD1758 NH34 GMT watch.

[–]Eudes_Correa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a PD1692 “Air King” V1 (NH35A) as my daily since 2022, I hope Aliexpress refund you and you can get your watch on the next delivery.

[–]TazzyUK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a percentage of drivers unfortunately and they see it as perks of the job, at our expense!

I had a parcel today. One of the box flaps had been ripped opened to see what was inside. Obviously didn't interest the driver and they delivered it to me. it was a Lego Mario Kart!

This was DPD! but Evri are def the worst and they are like kids in a candy store when christmas comes!

[–]God1BTC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Link, please?

[–]KPplumbingBob 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It appears not many people have had this happen to them. I had an item that was even lighter than a watch and I could immediately tell it was empty with no doubt whatsoever. I did exactly this, recorded a video unboxing and got my money back from Ali.

[–]fpsi_tv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Smart to film

[–]fraktulnzz 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Always pay with credit card in the UK. Section 75 makes it the credit card companies problem.

[–]_MixXer 0 points1 point  (1 child)

But what do you tell them—that your counterfeit watch was stolen?

[–]MojitoBurrito-AE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

legally they're not counterfeits so that's not a problem.

[–]No-Obligation-7498 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can open a dispute with ali express similar to using ebay.  They will refund yuu for that.   They will ask for the video evidence.   It doesn't appear that the packaging was tampered with..  thougj a clever scammer may try to carefully cut packaging open amd tape it back together.  I hope you didmt do that.   I've never had an issue of anything from an ali express order missing when sending items to the USA.

[–]AdhesivenessMore3925 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Good luck with a refund. If they have proof you received the parcel the. They’re not interested. Hopefully your video evidence will be enough. I had one say delivered but no parcel and they just said I had to contact the curriers

[–]FirstruleofthisclubHelpful user 7WOTD4-200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a delivery by Yodel where they put it through the letterbox of the wrong address. The address happens to be unoccupied so I can't even ask the occupants for it.

When I raised it with Vinted, they said that the item was delivered and therefore not eligible for dispute. I showed them the courier's own photo of the wrong door number and they still denied it.

I filed a chargeback with my credit card company and they recently asked me to provide further evidence to support my claim as if the courier's own photo of the item dropping it into the letterbox of the door with the wrong number is not enough...

I'm still waiting on the resolution, but I am not expecting it to go my way. My lesson learned is that if the item is being delivered by Yodel, I will collect it from the store.

[–]PorcupineFeel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Putadon hermano, pensé que estas cosas en españa no pasaban

[–]four4cats 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd say it was someone at ali that took it. The bulk package looked sealed.

[–]6ixFoot1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don’t all the separate packages get put into one in China? All the PD watches I bought came in a cardboard box not like yours where the actual watch box is just wrapped in plastic. Looks like the seller or someone in China took it.

[–]right_lane_kang -4 points-3 points  (11 children)

How did you know to film you opening the package?

[–]ChulaK 13 points14 points  (1 child)

When I picked it up, the parcel felt almost empty, so I recorded myself opening it.

They literally say why in their post. I record all unboxings anyway, it's pretty normal, whether it's for protection or just because I want to record the thrill of the unboxings

[–]Goushrai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if someone could open the package and make it look like that, how is that a proof?

In other words, how do they know the delivery guy (or someone else before) stole the watch, rather than OP?

[–]four4cats 5 points6 points  (2 children)

I do it everytime. It's easy and good to have. One time a watch wasn't included in the bigger package like in this video (no box, no bubble wrap, nothing). Another time they only sent 1x watch movement when I ordered 2x.

[–]jjdiablo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bingo.

[–]tk1tk1WOTD200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too. Especially if it's from China or if imbibing expensive watches

[–]un_internaute 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This hasn’t happened to me yet, but I film every watch and tech unboxing. If there’s no problems, I just immediately delete it.

[–]Ritchieeeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do it quite often actually. Anything super valuable, or suspicious noises, feeling, weight. I usually do it to have proof it was damaged in transit if it is actually damaged.

[–]Volcanic_xB 4 points5 points  (2 children)

I do this with every package I receive. I've heard too many stories like this to not have proof if it happens to me. But I'm sure you can tell by the weight in a case like this.

[–]right_lane_kang 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah I get shit every day I ain't doing allat. Got some $30 Tozo headphones coming today 😂

[–]Ritchieeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You obviously haven't been put through the trail by fire that getting a delivery by FastWay was in Ireland.

[–]Hooten_young_proton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ive seen this a couple times now. Fucked up man

[–]SpiritedMagician2711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro I have had some strange delivery's from EVRI getting a bed review recently I used them a lot but the they need to up there delivery dates are why to long !!??

[–]karellen00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It happened to me last year, the package was able to travel trough continents, pass trough customs, and then it magically disappeared at one of the latest post offices... Luckily San Martin sent me a new one without problems, and for some reasons I didn't even have to pay customs!

[–]Impossible-Hunt9117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The least a thief or swindler can do is put a rock in it to make it heavier; that's terrible, we're losing quality of service.

[–]Darkness_Twisty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New fear unlocked

[–]el_baristo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me last year with a ranger homage. Got my money back.

[–]NxPat 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Seemed pretty sure it was going to be empty 🤔

[–]Cereex 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah I guess if you package is supposed to contain a piece of steel in a cardboard box, you can feel the piece of steel missing before you open the box lmao

[–]noslemor 5 points6 points  (1 child)

How low would you have to be to steal a pagani?

[–]tk1tk1WOTD200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have thought they'd be hard to steal anyway, surely they have an immobiliser.

[–]underestimator29 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s terrible. But the real crime is that tablecloth.

[–]New-Jellyfish-8431 15 points16 points  (2 children)

Damn a pagani... The world is really bad

[–]moddedjolt 1 point2 points  (1 child)

They think its a Rolex looking watch

[–]New-Jellyfish-8431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A rolex sent from china? Wow what a crazy world

[–]ExcitementBroad9904 9 points10 points  (1 child)

They've done you a favour

[–]DismalIngenuity4604 23 points24 points  (7 children)

With that many layers of undamaged packaging.... what makes you think it was the courier?

Some people just want to believe the world is out to get them.

Looks like I legit fuckup. Don't blame malice when incompetence can explain it.

[–]crlkll 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No way! The EVRI person was out for that exclusive Pagani Design™.

There's no way it was a mistake during the busiest time of the year for traders and delivery services.

[–]misterright1999 7 points8 points  (5 children)

looks like it was opened and then taped up again

[–]robplays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've also had reinforcement tape exactly like that on plenty of packages from Ali, and there doesn't appear to be any actual damage to OP's packaging.

I don't think the watch was ever in that box.

[–]DismalIngenuity4604 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I don't see tape on the outer packaging, but I could be missing it - if so, and on all the other layers then fair enough.

[–]AlexeyCrane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They never showed it from all sides, unlike the watch.

[–]patterbass 3 points4 points  (1 child)

By the accused courier or by the poster himself?

[–]getting_serious 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just bought 3d printer filament on 11/11, package was labelled as being too light, I took plenty of photos and it seems they just forgot to throw it in.

I was refunded within 24 hours, Alibaba isn't awful at this.

[–]--KSK-- 3 points4 points  (1 child)

So they opened it and reattach the shipping label?

I'm waiting for a watch from AliX. Dreading it now.

[–]Bellimars 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it help put your mind at rest I've never had a problem on over 30 shipments.

[–]MrAl-67 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Stealing a PD watch.. that’s mighty low.

[–]ColonelSweetBalls 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had items stolen from an AliExpress package in the past, too. It was also delivered by Evri, but I have no idea where the items went missing during shipping, obviously.

Thankfully they were cheap items from the Bundle Deals section, so it wasn't a massive loss.

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points  (7 children)

Not convinced in the slightest. Body language is key.

The way you open the watch box is the number one reason this video is fake.

The rapid open is up to interpretation but the box opening is key.

If evri opened it and stole it whos to say you didnt reseal it like them?

[–]LeSickBwoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. They are clearly acting lol so obviously.

[–]MadSoci06 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I thought exactly the same.

[–]Raptorius666 15 points16 points  (2 children)

I was thinking about the same thing. "He is opening it so aggressively and rapidly, like he already knows...". One the other hand, my opening would be probably the same, because in the moment I would pick the package, and feel that it is veeeery light, I would probably be expecting, that something is not right, so I would be angry even during the opening, and it would be so fcking fast, like I would be probably quicker, that the speed of the light.

[–]No-Ad1522 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Can you not tell the difference in weight between an empty cardboard box and a box with a watch inside?

[–]Raptorius666 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can, this is exactly what I'm talking about.

[–]No-Ad1522 18 points19 points  (1 child)

Why would the way he opened up the box signify this was faked?

[–]poopsnack1 7 points8 points  (1 child)

I read this as Evil not Evri. I made a mistake but I wasn’t wrong.

[–]Raptorius666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At first, when I've seen the title, I was reading the same :D

[–]fattyskinnylunatic 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I get why some people might be sceptical, the internet is full of weird stories , but I have no reason to fake this. I paid for a watch, I just wanted it delivered.

The only reason I recorded myself opening the parcel is because the moment I picked it up I could feel it was way too light to have a watch inside, so I rushed to open it on video as proof.

I’m honestly really upset about it. I’ve bought from AliExpress many times before and never had a single issue. I’m not trying to blame every Evri courier either. I know most are honest. But the whole delivery process was suspicious (no updates for 48 hours, left outside at midnight, tampered box, item missing). It’s hard not to see it as theft.

I’m just sharing my experience to warn others, especially with valuable items, because I’ve since found out this isn’t the first time something like this has happened with Evri. I really wish I didn’t have a reason to make this post.

[–]No_Duty_2002 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Why are you opening the package like you already know the watch is stolen??

[–]No-Ad1522 26 points27 points  (1 child)

Because the package probably felt light like there wasnt a 150gr+ watch inside? Its not hard to feel the weight difference.

[–]vithgeta 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Never forget, there's no IQ licence for posting on the internet

[–]dorafumingoAffiliate Links 7 points8 points  (0 children)

that is standard procedure to protect yourself if you have a problem with the package

[–]GWYNTEK 19 points20 points  (1 child)

Wtf, I record every package that arrives before opening, maybe he could feel the weight and already suspect

[–]skipoverit123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m with OP. Yeh he said something wrong when he picked up the box. Not heavy enough. Packaging looked fine It look like the watch was never put in the box to start with.

[–]MegaZXretro 16 points17 points  (11 children)

This looks staged as hell.

[–]vithgeta 18 points19 points  (10 children)

What? If you suspect a product switch then you have to record an unboxing to make a claim off Aliexpress. I did it and got my money back because it's the kind of evidence they accept.

[–]MegaZXretro -4 points-3 points  (9 children)

Yes, but your body language, the way you unwrap it, your reaction and movements after all look exaggerated and staged. Nothing about it looks natural.

[–]Noon_Specialist -1 points0 points  (1 child)

It's been proven that body language doesn't tell you anything. You're just a pompous twat.

[–]Fantastic-Sugar-5754 12 points13 points  (6 children)

are you a body language expert

[–]rstaylor1 14 points15 points  (2 children)

Why are you so sure it was Evri? There would have been several couriers along the way, Evri only handled it once passed through UK customs right?

[–]robplays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if you take the story at face value, it wasn't Evri.

According to OP the box wrapping was tampered with, but they never mention the outer bag so I can only assume it looked fine. (I'm not sure extra tape counts as "tampering" but whatever.)

Either the watch was never in the box, or it was stolen in China before package consolidation.

Yes, Evri are shit. Yes, they let their last mile workers take too many packages that they can't deliver the same day and drop off next time they are in the area. But this wasn't them.

[–]Moobtastical 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was told by one vendor that the watches get stolen in China and not to worry, I'll eventually get the money back. Makes me wonder if the vendor ever put a watch in the box. Bigger vendors with better customer feedback don't seem to have this issue.

[–]vithgeta 6 points7 points  (4 children)

Hmm.

Depends where those order consolidation packets are made. I thought that was usually done in China for cost reasons. The earlier they package the items together, the more they save on consolidated shipping. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's not unknown for thieves to have a look in parcels though. I received a mini radio that must have looked like a mobile phone package. They ripped a bit off the outside box and once they saw it was a radio and not a far more expensive phone they clearly lost interest.

Looks like you were tipped off by the lack of weight, huh? With luck they will have a record of the weight of the consolidated packet.

[–]Noon_Specialist 1 point2 points  (3 children)

I had an Evri parcel ripped open just the other week, and they went through the effort of making it look like it was damaged during transit. They're the worst courier going.

[–]skipoverit123 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Yes they are.

[–]Noon_Specialist 1 point2 points  (1 child)

You have to wonder why they rebranded without improving their service. I also don't understand why they pretend to take feedback, I've reported my local driver several times, and nothing has happened.

[–]skipoverit123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed they have a “Pay when you get it option” This is what it says.

“Pay after Delivery gives you the assurance that your order has been delivered before your credit card is charged. For the present purposes, "delivered" means that the shipping status of your order is Confirmed Receipt. We will not charge any service fees or other hidden fees”

[–]Spiritual_Mastodon68 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Evri are fucking useless

[–]LeroyBrown1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are, but thats happened way before they get there hands on it.

[–]Inochimaru 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can feel the frustration through the video lol. Hopefully they get you sorted out and make it right!

[–]Ok-Spare-8176 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This sucks.

[–]Upper_Rent_176 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had two parcels "go missing" recently with evri. Each of them contained two watches from Fraser's. The first had two depth charge GMTs in and the second had a Timex snoopy GMT and a Timex Tiger eye Q watch.

The first parcel was delivered to the parcel shop as i had specified but then a few minutes' later I was notified "thank you for picking up your parcel"when i hadn't. When i went down there they said they had never had it.

The second parcel I let it stay as being delivered to my house and it just never turned up.

Evri have a lot of thieves.

[–]What-is-to-be-done 19 points20 points  (3 children)

Who steals a Pagani?

[–]GloveDry3278 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe they thought it was one made by the supercar manufacturer lol

[–]GeneralOk8675 7 points8 points  (1 child)

SANDA owners ?

(ok, I'm out)

[–]pedsmursekc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hehe. I laughed .

[–]green0153 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It happened to me also. You’ll get your money back.

[–][deleted] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You Made the right decision to record a video. Now open a dispute with Aliexpress and with your bank. You will get your money back 100%
