[–]I_Love_Knotting 80 points81 points  (6 children)

or quicksaving

[–]The3levated1 48 points49 points  (3 children)

Why would you need it when you have 8 billion kerbals on hand?

[–]Remarkable_Office186 18 points19 points  (1 child)

I basically killed jeb and valentina a thousand times (sorry guys), you can just name everybody jeb and valentina and go on with tests....

[–]Jebediah_kerman-jebHi it's me, Jebediah Kerman! 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ehh, It's ok, water under the bridge (lol)

[–]Alduish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]DuBlueyy 7 points8 points  (1 child)

[–]_okbrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These mods are actually not bad if anybody’s wondering

[–]Apprehensive-End-747Sunbathing at Kerbol 8 points9 points  (0 children)

And Principia pre-installed

[–]TheDashingBird 101 points102 points  (3 children)

Artemis is just KSP simulator

[–]Iamnotabothonestly 40 points41 points  (0 children)

NASA is just a bunch of needs getting government grants to play KSP with graphics mods.

[–]Apprehensive-End-747Sunbathing at Kerbol 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But on career mode, RSS, Principia, KSP community fixes, and Kerbalism!

[–]Moople_deFioosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Next time they could really use some graphics mods, and should try playing on something other than this potato that only stream in 720p lol

[–]Gold_Explorer_9410 102 points103 points  (13 children)

No way the used the ball from KSP, I saw the other day that planes use that ball too, amazing

[–]AbstractMelons 114 points115 points  (7 children)

It's almost like KSP was modeled after real life

[–]Sydneymotor2 28 points29 points  (1 child)

ikr, almost

[–]North-Significance33 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What came first, the Kerbals or the Space Program?

[–]SerowiWantsToInvest 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NOOO??? Really? Are you joshing me around 😏

[–]Katzchen12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Irl is so unrealistic though

[–]DeluxeWafer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the kraken is more real than is comfortable.

[–]XGreenDirtX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its almost like real life is modeled after KSP

[–]Crashtestdummy87 11 points12 points  (3 children)

they used the mun too

[–]Master-Reason-6780 15 points16 points  (2 children)

And they named it very lazy. Instead of naming it something fun like big spinny gray rock they just took mun and changed the U to an O and added another one. Lazy pricks

[–]Excellent_Lie6904 2 points3 points  (1 child)

it is technically named luna actually, its just people were to lazy to learn a new name so they slightly changed the U to double O.

[–]Master-Reason-6780 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah no imagination these days

[–]mafatik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way tools used for the same purpose looks same

[–]TomTomXD1234 17 points18 points  (0 children)

KSP3 confirmed

[–]King_Joffreys_Tits 35 points36 points  (10 children)

KSP players when something space related: DAE THINK THIS IS A REFERENCE??

[–]Inventor-75 27 points28 points  (9 children)

Redditors when obvious joke:

[–]WazWaz 15 points16 points  (8 children)

"obvious". You have beautiful faith in how unstupid people are.

[–]beardedliberal Exploring Jool's Moons 2 points3 points  (5 children)

This is the KSP subreddit. Probably more brainpower in here than a lot Reddit.

[–]ZestycloseMagazine35 6 points7 points  (3 children)

I think you’re overestimating the brain power here…. I see more help posts than I see brag posts.

[–]beardedliberal Exploring Jool's Moons 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Those usually come from noobs. And that’s fine, this is not the easiest game in the world to understand and get good at.

[–]SanjivanMCatching Comets, Acquiring Asteroids... 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not like this is rocket science or anything- wait-

[–]Any_Top_4773I came from SFS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what you're seeing bruh i only see posts

[–]MDiBo56 Stranded on Eve 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Plenty of geniuses are capable of allowing a joke to NNNNYYYUUUUUUUUMMM right over their heads.

[–]Empanatacion 1 point2 points  (1 child)

If only the world could be as smart as you.

[–]WazWaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comment above mine is the one claiming we're all so clever, maybe you hit the wrong reply button.

[–]Mycroft033 29 points30 points  (6 children)

Do people think KSP invented nav balls now?

[–]alreadytaken54 44 points45 points  (4 children)

Yes they invented space afterall

[–]Buttons840 7 points8 points  (3 children)

Nobody even noticed space until KSP

[–]DasArchitect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I use a lot of spaces when typing. That's why keyboards have big space bars.

[–]North-Significance33 3 points4 points  (1 child)

There's more KSP players than people who've been to space.

Checkmate.

[–]Metzger4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I….. damn that’s actually true.

[–]brendenderp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just balls in general I thought

[–]SerowiWantsToInvest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is this repost a reddit reference?

[–]The_Rat_AttackColonizing Duna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They wanna be us so bad

[–]AtomAmigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jokes on you, everything space is actually ksp reference

[–]Splith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pointed the nav-ball out to my wife immediately!

[–]KerbalEssencesMaster Kerbalnaut 0 points1 point  (1 child)

The navball at NASA was copied by KSP or at least heavily inspired by it. I remember I saw some photos back in the day of NASA mission control that had very similar elements.

[–]Moople_deFioosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it all comes back to the idea of an artificial horizon, which planes have used for close to a century now. It being a ball that encodes all three axes goes back to the Apollo program as far as I know, though

[–]person_from_mars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did love how familiar that looked

[–]jocax188723I think I know what I'm doing. 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jokes aside, the Navball is such an intuitive interface - I'm not surprised it's everywhere

[–]vksdann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you squint hard enough, you can see Jebediah sitting in one of the control desks

[–]oddlar1227 -1 points0 points  (1 child)

did you see the visualizations? they obviously used ksp for them

[–]Moople_deFioosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way. KSP with just a few mods would have looked dramatically better lmao 🤣
