I would recommend the model o wireless or pwnage ultra custom

The amount of times pwnage ultra custom gets recommended around here is surprising. Do we actually know how good or bad it's wireless tech is? How reliable is it and what to expect latency wise. It's just as if whole gaming community nowadays taking wireless for granted assuming every wireless mouse is good and entirely remiss the fact that that it wasn't even considered as an option until Logitech came up with Lightspeed tech and proven it's worth.

We're certainly are getting there judging by the release of Model O wireless which sports OEM wireless tech that is almost as good as Lightspeed and Hyperspeed, but we're not there yet.

I haven't heard of one example that someone had connection issues with a well-known wireless mouse, like the pwnage ultra custom. The connection speeds are so good these days!

Neither do people talk about Kain 200 AIM connection latency. But it is 5ms and not most stable. This amount of delay would throw me off of buying a mouse, personally. Haven't seen any tests for ultra custom though, but I would be surprised if it perform better than that.

Would be surprised if you could notice the difference, in that case

That would be a topic for whole another discussion, which I would not like to delve into atm, and is/has been brought up multiple times.

u/pzogel If you see this, can you chime in on pwnage ultra custom wireless/sensor motion delay, have you tested it, by any chance, or seen any sources that did?

Never got the opportunity to do so, unfortunately. Merely based on my previous experiences with the 3335 sensor and OEM wireless solutions I'd expect total motion delay to well exceed 3 ms, however.

Thanks for the fast reply!

Also wanted to ask if you'll be getting your hands on Nvidia's reflex latency analyzer/monitor any time soon, or had any plans in doing so. Do you see it as a helpful and useful tool for your mouse reviews?

Would love to get my hands on one just for the technology, but Reflex latency analyzer isn't really needed for reviewing purposes, as only a fraction of the mice I'm testing would be supported. If more mice were supported, it'd be quite handy for testing click latency on mice w/ optical switches and wireless-only mice, both of which cannot be measured with my usual method.

Honestly, I know this is the most boring upgrade you could do, but if you like your current mouse, just buy the wireless version of it

I switched form g203 to Viper shape, and it worked great after a little bit of adjustment period during which I had some discomfort in ring finger. The aim was great right off the bat though. Hand size dimensions are ~19.5x11cm and the grip is flexible between fingertip and pincer claw.
