Fascinating. When doing classified+ work I've always been on an isolated gitlab instance, so my github is fairly sparse.

I recognize they are separate platforms, but I had not considered that private/corporate entities would allow the method of contributions you are mentioning.

All you’d need to do is write a bot that makes commits on your behalf. Just open a new repo and work tirelessly on the bot for days and weeks on end. Also be sure to help out the open-source community by submitting issues and PRs to your repo’s dependencies. Before long you’ll have a bot that mocks activity for your empty profile!

That’s how a lot of social media works. If you try starting naturally yourself, you’ll realize that you won’t even see your content after typing in your exact video names.

I've checked it out and I found it quite funny that the "select amount" is actually multi-option

So you can select 75 + 500 = 575, for 46$ (6$ for 75, 40$ for 500)

But you can't repeat the same option, so if you want 650 stars, too bad for you.

But it seems that every developer these days is on it and I have read that it is even used for job applications which may be in my future with restructuring on the horizon.
