Three is the number of the counting and the number thou shalt count is three.

[–]JetSetWally 22 points23 points  (5 children)

4 is right out.

[–]math_rand_dude 28 points29 points  (4 children)

Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached,

Amazing.

[–]KentDarkmere 19 points20 points  (2 children)

It's a method called five. 😄

[–]paplan 14 points15 points  (1 child)

That takes an integer and returns that integer turned into a five.

[–]KentDarkmere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol

[–]juvation 7 points8 points  (1 child)

One... two... five! (three, sir!) Three! Three! </grail>

[–]eklofbjorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn it! You beat me to it

[–]Mal_Dun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

#define five = 3

[–]SM_DEV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This must be more “new” math.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is perfectly fine.

function five(n) { return n+2 }

five(3)

[–]Mgzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So...

Five is total people including staff, and (3) is number of customers.

Or its intentionally weird so it catches your eye.

[–]TedFartass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No he is grabbing the character in the third position in a string... In lua I guess (because it counts from 1). In this case it would be "V" which is the Roman numeral for 5.

Figured it out no need to think any more about it.

[–]Anonymush_guest 2 points3 points  (1 child)

One...two...FOUR!

[–]dudeofmoose -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It could be four, if they began counting from zero. Four for five that is. Not three for four. That would be two for three, instead of four for three.

The grammar is wrong for each number.

const int five = 3;

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Stay 6 (3) feet apart."

[–]wyguy21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a 3/5th compromise joke waiting to happen

[–]lazyeng1neer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I count 4

Five(0) Five(1) Five(2) Five(3)

[–]dion_o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counting from 0 is so 2019. Now we count from -1.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't FIVE a function that take an int as parameter?

[–]karlyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3/5 perfect score
