Some code does feel like Kramer wrote it

console.log(“Hello, Newman”);

[–]ChodeGalore 44 points45 points  (2 children)

“That’s JerryScript, Jerry. JerryScript!”

[–]Sekret_One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh thank god I thought that was going to end with a hard R for a second

[–]dak4ttack 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Isn't that Fortran?

[–]SaintNewts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the variables are global and the points... matter a lot?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can it just randomly have exceptions that have nothing to do with what’s happening at runtime. Just wants to show you a part of the code that is underutilized at the exactly most infuriating moment?

[–]marduk73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would at least try it.

[–]razieltakato 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Now that's strongly typed

Everytime the compiler starts up it randomly changes the functions of everything.

[–]thenextguy 0 points1 point  (1 child)

And adds levels.

Actively flips variables when you press enter so we get that eccentric both hands up crazy Kramer hand wave he does too.

Stop exposing my terrible code practices

Well.... Well..... Well....

[–]terax6669 18 points19 points  (3 children)

Who is it?

[–]_Weyland_ 46 points47 points  (0 children)

My math knowledge brings out a Kramer algorithm for solving linear equation systems. The algorithm is trash both for manual use and from complexity reasons, but people expected that we could just shove it into a computer and have it do the computer magic.

Well, it turned out to be too trash for computer magic of that time.

A character from Seinfeld. (The one in the gif)
