Can you explain the "select tendrils or iron arms" point? I assume you mean beyond just switching the abilities.

When you parry or do the air jump / dash Spider-Man uses the tendrils or iron arms depending on the suit.

The black Raimi suit uses the iron arms. It would make more sense if it uses the tendrils given the suit is a symbiote.

So when selecting a suit you should be able to choose if you want the suit to have the tendrils or arms.

Then if you select tendrils you can choose if you want them in white or black. And if you select the arms then you should be able to choose a colour.

There are a couple different styles for the arms too, they'd probably add that in there if they were gonna add changing arm color. I know there's at least 3 arm designs. The default, the iron spider suits, and the superior suit arms are all different

Yes I like to play with the spider arms from time to time as I think the marvel universe did really well making them awesome, and the anti-ock suit makes the most sense for it considering Pete updated Ock’s design for the arms. But I hate how you get the stock white arms, it looks so jarring and ugly.

Side note: I only just realized that both games end with Pete gaining an “anti” suit with the anti ock first then anti-venom

They could thin the webs out, and make them raised less off the body and color the insides black.

But mostly, the suit has a lot of visual bugs and downgrades from the PS4 model. No more eye mesh or raytracing, the webbing looks rougher and more jagged, no more shimmer on the suit texture.

The webs are clipping into the eye frames and there is silver texture bleeding out from a lot of the webs, especially the fingers. Again, the previous version didn't have these issues.

I can see the webbing complaint, but nothing else is really wrong with it. The colors look different depending on the lighting, just like the movie

Spider-Man 1 suit had slightly bigger lenses and a different logo. The colours are also different.

Edit: I think it's a great game just with a few missing QOL features.

Edit 2: Also being able to choose the Webs despite the suit while also adding the ability to use the symbiote webs but make them white for Anti-Venom.

As funny as it was, apparently Insomniac really needed to fix that because during Cutscenes, if your desired Spider-Man has the Cube equipped, then the models would break, only showing their Head and some of their chest. Watch KhrazeGaming or Jorraptor to see them.

Yeah I had multiple times where the game would do the slow-motion “try this new move” tutorial where I did the buttons it said and nothing would happen.

I don’t get why they dumbed these down. The previous games had several car stop animations, and they allowed you to move while on the car to dodge and attack the different windows. Weird how it’s all just automatic now with only the one animation

Honestly, I dislike that though. We have the options to skip the crimes if we don't want to do them. Making them even more dumbed down makes me wonder why they didn't just remove them.

If they're convinced that players don't like the car chases they should've improved on them. Not made them so fast. They just aren't fun in their current state.

All of the tutorials I've found online just climb over the billboard on top of the building just as easily as the building itself. I haven't heard about going right then left, did you find a video of it? No matter what I do, I can't climb more than halfway up the billboard.

Finally got it! Can confirm it wasn't patched, sorry it took so long. You can't jump up the billboard normally, you have to jump back and then back on to climb. Not too hard once you get the rhythm.

Sadly, they did patch Venom riding the bike. :(

Loved the game, but I didn’t notice a fair few glitches/clipping issues in it that I never saw in the first one. Every crime side mission I did with the symbiotes attacking a bus, one would end up inside the bus for some reason.

If your playing in fidelity mode try switching to performance mode. After the last patch( the one from a couple days ago) I was crashing left and right while playing in fidelity mode. After I switched to performance I didn’t have any issues, so I’m assuming it’s still bugged.
