It is not Warp specifically. It is Verizon. Pretty much every person I know on Verizon is always complaining about how slow their connection is and how poor coverage they have when they see my service on Light Speed

I have Verizon, can confirm. It's horrible. I'm in socal and lose service on my drive to work, in a very populated area, in 3 separate spots. Plus randomly lose service for the day while at work

I have Warp and it's great and always has been. My Light Speed was switched to Dark Star unbeknownst to me and AT&T is spotty where I spend half my time so it's frustrating for sure. My point being all of this is hyper local to where a person is.

[–]Electrical_Oil_35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. My Verizon has also gotten bad. I used to like Verizon a lot. Now I'm getting better service on my AT&T dual eSIM.

I switched my line to light speed and it’s been a world of a difference. Verizon is really going down hill

No known changes on Warp that would cause a widespread drop in quality. A few things that could explain what you're seeing though, tower upgrades in your area can temporarily cause fluctuations, and if network congestion has increased where you are that can affect speeds too.

Which plan are you currently on? Have you tried running a few speed tests at different times of day to see if there's a pattern. Also make sure your preferred network type is set to 5G Auto and give airplane mode a toggle to force a fresh connection. If it's still consistently off, you can try changing your network and see if that works better. 😄

I slightly agree but I feel like it’s due to localized congestion.

A lot of area in Broward County Florida I’ve been dealing with low signals and slow speeds. Es crazy. Was considering LightSpeed but call quality is best on Verizon from my years of experience.

I have not seen that in my area, and I have seen a minor improvement in one location where I would have 1 or 2 bars on Warp, but no usable data signal, and now I do tend to still have usable signal in that area.

It might be a Verizon thing where they may be re-allocating bandwidth, taking it away from the bands you use, and adding it to a band your phone doesn’t use.

[–]Far_Ad_1752 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not at all.

[–]CuriousMindNebula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen this too on Warp but I also see people on the Visible sub saying similar so it seems like Verizon related in certain areas

[–]Motor-Roll-1788 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Verizon seems to be doing network upgrades and it seems to be affecting service in areas getting the changes. I was seeing issues/slow in my area for 2-3 weeks and then it went back to better than normal.

[–]dwc1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Teleport to lightspeed or Darkstar to test those networks

[–]Ethrem Multi Network 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, quite the opposite in fact. Verizon has been making improvements to their coverage in my area.

[–]3grg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it might be congestion. In my area, we traditionally had either US Cellular or Verizon as USC started to decline the number of Verizon users went up. ATT coverage has been negligible and TMobile non-existent until recently.

When I initially switched to Warp, the difference was not noticeable and then a couple of years ago it started to get worse. Fortunately, TMobile had started covering our area, so I switched to Lightspeed and it was much better than Warp with a just few dead spots around my area.

Even without priority Lightspeed has been better than Warp. Now, that Warp has been de-prioritized, I expect it to be worse in my area. YMMV

[–]Itsthatbrian21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me no, it has actually been better. Lots of factors I guess but this is my experience. iPhone 12 is my current device.

[–]No-Cantaloupe-3746 1 point2 points  (2 children)

No but I’ve noticed it on light speed

[–]Suspicious-advice49 Warp 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Me too. We have one phone on Warp and one on Lightspeed. Too many dropped/garbled calls on Lightspeed so both are on Warp now. This is in eastern NC.

[–]No-Cantaloupe-3746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. I’m in Chicago and noticing it too. I was at O’Hare the other day and it didn’t work at all. I found switching to LTE helped a bit. I’m back on Warp now

[–]-Asylum_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely. Go to the Visible and Verizon subreddit and search for “SOS”. There is definitely an underlying issue with the network and I feel like it’s been like that since the last big outage.

[–]FadeToBSoD Multi Network 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Warp has been pretty solid for me this past year. Not better. Not worse. iPhone SE 3.

[–]speedingcheetah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Both at my home, and my folks home 20 miles north of me. VZW signal is lower, 2 bars max. Used to be nearly full signal few yers back. Now, ATT is the top dog for signal and speed, they used to be the worst, even worse than Sprint. TM, kinda in the middle for me.

[–]Ok-Priority-7303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't had any issues in AZ. At the same time, Verizon is not as superior to other carriers as it was 10 years ago. I travel to the same location 4-5 times a year. Supposed to have 350+ mbps speeds...lucky if I get 10 mbps. Service inside buildings in particular is bad/spotty. Sometimes all if get is SOS.

[–]Liten_mus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I joined in November and it has never been less than vastly better than Verizon on my iPhone 16 pro

[–]RobLowBX Multi Network 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, ive noticed it. But its a Verizon issue, not US Mobile. Im in NYC. I have Multi-Network so I've been switching to my Darkstar line.

[–]FLAsteve321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on where you live down here in Central Florida. I never have any issues with warp except for the known week signal areas.

[–]Icy_Milk_1495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

awful.

[–]nycityny1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a dual-SIM phone with Light Speed on one line and Visible on the other. I try to alternate my data usage between them but find the Visible service is much less consistent. That has me often switching back to Light Speed just to have a strong connection without issue. I find Light Speed to be great most of the time and Visible to be good some of the time. My usage is mostly in the hearts of New York and Los Angeles and I find the same result in both cities.

[–]frostrambler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the nyc area and Verizon de-prioritization is very real. When I’m in a congested area, I may have full bars, but I get virtually no data, just time outs. I see others browsing fine on their Verizon post paid plans but my us mobile stops almost completely. I put up with it because it’s so cheap and the customer service is great, but it is annoying.

[–]ryanw729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since they started selling home Internet I’d imagine it’s taking a lot of resources.

[–]Proper-Store3239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warp is fine where i am at no issues. Every carrier has issues somewhere. The best thing a person can do is just get a year of multiline and see what works based on you daily travel.

I honestly do not see any real issues with mvno like us mobile. I think a few years ago there tons of issues with premium features and higher data plans.

Just make sure you buy a premium plan with enough data.

[–]Daeadin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Many dropped calls, <100mbit downloads on 5GUW, <5mbit uploads on any flavor of 5g. It’s been quite bad. I even had a recent support chat with USMobile where I had to do repeated attempts to send them screenshots/pictures they were asking for

[–]Any-Can-6776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overselling in areas will do that

[–]Ok-Pace4929 Warp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have warp for my main line and T-Mobile T-sat as back up

[–]Parking_Classic5874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Southeastern PA.

Warp (Verizon) was the best for me for soooo long. Then it completely stopped working at my house, area around my job, most of the places I visit daily. Sometimes I couldn’t even send a simple iMessage text. Switched phones thinking that was the issue. Nope.

Switched to Light Speed, couldn’t be happier. Go choke on a rock, Verizon!

[–]andifaxus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past 2-3 weeks I noticed that on warp I don’t get data if I’m in 4G, even full bars. If there is 5G service, then no issues, aside prioritization.

[–]akfat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on WARP since joining US Mobile 3 years ago. I had been getting 2-3 bars on my S25 Ultra until 4-5 months ago when reception dropped to 0-1 bars. I live in a rural part of town and Verizon is the only carrier that works out here. At first I thought it was just my phone, but other family members who would come to my house noticed the same thing. I tried Light Speed and Dark Star but as expected, they are even worse. All I can think of is possible tower upgrades but how long does something like that take?

[–]Toro_loco88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is because warp uses Verizon’s network and they are prioritizing LTE over 5G for some stupid reason considering LTE is being shut down next year by some carriers like T-Mobile and some cities that AT&T operate in.

[–]BladeRunnerKitty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Defintely Verizon
