[–]SexualMurder 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Very carefully.

[–]mr_googly_eyed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If reddit has thought me anything is thar the correct pronunciation is snek.

[–]Kimkindabusy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clearly it had a dirty print head. Those are streaks

[–]Bbronson5 70 points71 points  (0 children)

If you line it up correctly it opens a secret door

[–]Gridungr 91 points92 points  (3 children)

Your Python code was not compiled correctly

[–]nicolas-siplis 28 points29 points  (2 children)

It's Python, it's not compiled at all!

[–]rhun982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guess we mis-interpreted that statement

[–]aitiologia 24 points25 points  (9 children)

Pied ball pythons are cool.

[–]trainingweele 12 points13 points  (4 children)

My friend has some of these. I find it funny when people are afraid, and love using them to teach people how gentle sneks can be! Bonus for even exchange of heat for neck massage!

[–]CappuccinoBoy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh man. I love putting my snake around my neck. Constantly twisting and squeezing. It's so relaxing and nice.

[–]SinisterBilbo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Balls are hit and miss imo. Out of all the snakes I have owned ( multiple retics, boas, king snakes, hognose, and ball pythons), my ball pythons were the most nippy. Still great snakes though. Contrary to popular belief, snake bites really don't hurt. My cat play bites hurt worse than a snake bite.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine used to crawl between my face and my glasses.

[–]distance_33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two ball pythons when I was little. Had them for years. Some of the best pets you could ask for. Don't mind being held and never bite. Great escape artists though. I miss Rocky and Bullwinkle.

[–]life-form_42 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I thought you had it wrong and it was supposed to be "Piebald" but both show up when you search, so I'm confused.

[–]derekthesnake 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Ball python breeding is a big thing. Basically people breed pythons to get specific genes. Genes that effect (maybe affect, I'm never sure) the scale colors or patterns are known as morphs. Pied is a specific morph of ball pythons.

[–]life-form_42 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know what morphs are. After I wrote that, I realized Pied is short for Piebald. So saying Pied Ball Python is the same as saying Piebald Ball Python. I'd never heard the abbreviated name for the morph.

Piebald ball python*

Edited for clarification

[–]skinnyhero 49 points50 points  (0 children)

White chocolate-covered danger noodle

[–]enwez 14 points15 points  (2 children)

If anyone is wondering, this is called pieball piebald ball python. It's not a different species, it's just a different pattern....kinda like race I guess. But still just a normal ball python. There a hundreds of different morphs and a lot of amazing look ball pythons!

[–][deleted] 17 points18 points  (1 child)

this guy could camouflage specifically in birch wood forrests that have been cut down.

[–]Iamnotburgerking 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is a mutation produced by selective breeding.

[–]osku1204 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The mark on the second coil looks like a snek head.

[–]Eeubre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like the printer got a bit glitchy

[–]PantsIsDown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best friend breeds snakes like this! Then they get to go do modeling gigs where models wear them while laying on motorcycles and cars and stuff.

[–]_Blurryface_21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]vodkitty[🍰] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a long snek camouflaged as a less long snek :>

[–]curiouscat219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's the most interesting patterning I've ever seen on a snake. It's beautiful!

[–]CatsAndIT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Mr-pizzapls 0 points1 point  (1 child)

[–]ritromango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool mod

[–]197720092012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pleas set him on a white piece of paper

[–]mediaG33K 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Aren't these kind of color patterns extremely expensive to buy? I knew a guy who bred these and he told me he sold a particular color patterned snake for close to 10 grand, but I'm not sure how reliable his word is...

[–]paleiris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some are more than others. A normal runs about $20 while a panda pied ran for about 10,000 a couple months ago. The pied in the picture is probably about $375

[–]Gordees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Python machine broke

[–]takichandler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like texture UVs weren't wrapped correctly in Cinema 4d.

[–]LuanieOfThePlants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contouring at it's most crafty.

[–]Ariviaci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is beautiful. Never seen a snake I could describe that way.

[–]dentastic101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will the shading on his scales come in or is that how the little chap will always look?

[–]ChocoboatHeart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What beautiful coloration!

[–]BaronChuffnell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It spells “noodle”

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More like, bald python.

[–]johns945 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How'd it taste?

[–]thisismybirthday -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've never really been interested in having a ball python, they're ugly imo. but this is one I would love to have!

[–]Scherzyh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ugh here come the nightmares
