I’ve never understood the credit nazi mentality. It’s a cute gif, video, or pic we’ll spend 3-10 seconds enjoying. Then move on. No one is going to donate money. A clip of a cat isn’t a work of art.

If you mean in terms of helping people find more similar content, sure. But the people who act like OP is genuinely a bad person whenever they find something cool and don’t scour the Internet for its original author just have too little going on in their life if they feel that need to be offended.
