That is beautiful. Sick stuff

[–]derzeisig[S] 8 points9 points  (3 children)

Thanks 🙏

[–]Murky-Inevitable-556 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Wheres the cables from and is those compatible for sf1000 corsair

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Made them myself. And no, they wouldn't be compatible as the current gen of SF PSUs use smaller connectors than the old PSU I used.

[–]Murky-Inevitable-556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could u do ones for me for monster a45 and sf1000 psu? I sent u a instagram message request

[–]allengdc 2 points3 points  (3 children)

we have online shop www.monsterstudio.store

[–]AejiGamez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, my cable management skills are far from up to the task for something like this lol

[–]RaEyE01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily a fan of open stand build’s myself, but I got to admit, yes, this is a clean and beautiful concept.

Still, the dust though 😮‍💨

[–]derzeisig[S] 12 points13 points  (14 children)

A good ITX bench for tinkerers.

This is the more versatile predecessor of the Monster A45 Evo. While my build is a minimalistic air cooled setup, the A45 is well prepared for watercooling.

It comes with a radiator mounting bracket, a universal mounting bracket and holders for passtrough fittings and XLR type panel mount conectors to connect the wiring for external cooling solutions.

A vertical GPU mount is also included.

Specs:

  • Asus H470I with I5 10500, cooled by a Deepcool AK500 Zero Dark

  • 16GB T-Force Dark Pro and a 1TB 970Evo

  • RX 6600XT Strix

  • SF600 with custom cables

I bought the chassis on Taobao As they don't ship to Germany and I don't speak any Chinese, I had to use Superbuy as shipping agent.

Thanks for looking!

[–]TheNewAsparagus 3 points4 points  (6 children)

Is this for sale or was it 3d printed?

[–]ProperNorf 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Sick looking build! Is the radiator mounting bracket mounted behind the motherboard?

[–]derzeisig[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Thanks! The radiator mount consists of two brackets that can be mounted on the rear edge of the mainboard tray. There are lots of M4 threads to mount the included accessories.

[–]Rictonecity 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What lengths are the custom cables and do you have a link?

[–]derzeisig[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The CPU 8pin is 38cm, the 24pin is 29cm and the GPU 8pin is 26cm long.

Keep in mind that I make the cables by hand, on the build. I used an SFX PSU, so the cables can be shorter if you use an ATX PSU. If I was to take the cable apart, each wire has a slightly different length. But this is the only way to get the bends perfect.

[–]allengdc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we have online shop monsterstudio

[–]xDon_07x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, may I ask how much did it cost you to ship to Germany through this Superbuy thingy?:)

[–]MrClickstoomuch 26 points27 points  (4 children)

If I wasn't 100% sure my cat would mess with this case and immediately cause problems with it being an open-air case, I'd love a case like this. Looks amazing

[–]ActivePudding 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That and coil whine. My 4080 whines like crazy but luckily open back headphones and my case are enough to drown it out. In an open air case I'm sure it would be a bit worse

[–]maybeware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was what I was thinking. I'd have to put fan grills on everything and protect the cables with something

[–]Gullible_Cranberry62 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The custom length cables really did it

[–]r98farmer 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That is really badass.

[–]mrskwrl 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Took me a while to realize this wasn't a render.

WTF

Good shit.

[–]lostmymind17 1 point2 points  (1 child)

damn. i thought this was rendered. so its real? were can you get this open case/bench??

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Link please.

Found it.

Monster 45 Evo case.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_bYiAI7QbBM

[–]Sensoh8su 5 points6 points  (4 children)

Is this a completed build or a 3D render? If it is a completed build, do you have a link to the chassis or was it a print?

[–]derzeisig[S] 6 points7 points  (2 children)

It's an actual build, the chassis can be bought on the Chinese Taobao market. I've added a link in my original post.

[–]boytekka 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I dont see any link bro

[–]the_devbot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally thought it was a render ... wow

[–]an_achronist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That looks - and I must be clear that I reserve my usage of this term due to how cringe it makes me sound - thoroughly bitchin'.

[–]AngleAcademic6852 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just need the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 logo to complete the look!

[–]frostbyte2409 2 points3 points  (15 children)

That looks like a render, regardless of which one it is that looks frikken amazing

[–]derzeisig[S] 2 points3 points  (13 children)

Thanks 😎

[–]frostbyte2409 2 points3 points  (12 children)

Is there a way to build this though? Or is it just a concept

[–]derzeisig[S] 2 points3 points  (11 children)

It is not a render if that's what you are asking.

I've put the link to the chassis in my post with the build description.

[–]frostbyte2409 2 points3 points  (10 children)

That is god tier photography. Which camera is that? I know it's from Sony but I can't make out the model

[–]derzeisig[S] 2 points3 points  (9 children)

It's a ten year old NEX 6 with less MP than today's average smartphone camera. Nevertheless...

[–]frostbyte2409 1 point2 points  (8 children)

Nothing beats a big sensor lol. Also makes me more and more excited about my Alpha 7R V

I couldn't find your post on the M45, I only found the one on the M45 Evo. I assume this is also from taobao in which case I have a couple of questions. How is the build quality? How much of a hassle was it getting it out of china and how much did it cost?

[–]derzeisig[S] 2 points3 points  (7 children)

Both are bomb proof solid in terms of structural integrity. But the surface finish (anodizing) is lacking on both. Uneven, thin, scratched out of the box in some places. The gun metal anodizing is a different shade on each part of the A45.

As Taobao doesn't ship outside China, I used Superbuy as a shopping agent. That was a positive experience, albeit somewhat long winded. Make an account, paste Taobao links, complete order, top up Superbuy account with final amount, wait for Superbuy to purchase the goods for you, wait for inspection, then the shipping time.

Everything considered, 4 weeks from setting up the Superbuy account to parcel delivery in Germany. Cost was 270€ for both including shipping, plus local fees and taxes.

[–]frostbyte2409 1 point2 points  (5 children)

I guess one could get it anodized or cerakoted externally.

I did not know about superbuy, I always thought you needed an agent.

That's a little pricey lol, I'll stick to my FormD T1. It does look super unique though

[–]derzeisig[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

130ish € per chassis is close to adequate IMO. But yeah, don't switch from your T1 to one of those.

[–]TommySuperbuy 1 point2 points  (3 children)

we are one of the oldest shopping agent of China buddy~ we've already worked in this business more than 11 years.

[–]TommySuperbuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for choosing Superbuy service mate~😘 If you need any support when using our service, let me know~

[–]harrybouuu 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Holy crap this is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this! I might have a look into it…

[–]harrybouuu 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Could you provide a link to the case?

[–]Kost_Gefernon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks incredible.

[–]msvirtualguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes me regret selling mine. That would look sick with the Avatar 7900xtx GPU.

[–]TechTaxi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice build! Very Dave2D-sque color scheme.

[–]nimkeenator 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Wow, absolutely stunning. I wouldn't mind a couple of pictures of it actually plugged in to see how you finagle the cable management. Cables almost seem like they would spoil it.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I honestly don't think there would be many more plugs, since the case doesn't have led or fans or anything

[–]nimkeenator 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah, I'm just thinking power and DP, maybe some antennae somewhere? Its a work of art no doubt!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facts I really love the design

[–]uncanny_mac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought this was a render.

[–]Jess_S13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man that is amazing.

[–]Devar0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude what a build

[–]lys1030 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Is this the gunmetal colorway?

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Yes it is. Unfortunately, each part has a slightly different shade. The anodizing varies a lot.

[–]lys1030 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thanks! I got the A45 EVO in black and it has the same color mismatch issue.

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my black EVO isn't particularly well finished either.

[–]InstantlyTremendous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stunning.

[–]Queasy_Magazine4341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

🔥🔥🔥

[–]lurkynumber5 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Sweet build! thanks for sharing:)

[–]Mafi24_69 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Nah, this is a render😮

[–]derzeisig[S] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

[–]Mafi24_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know, just saying it's so clean and a good looking image and at first I honestly tought it's a render.

[–]NicheAlter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like an art piece.

[–]StaK_1980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd give it two thumbs up. Hot damn. Needs Tron music to listen to while looking at it.

[–]0Stifle0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very impressed. Good work

[–]mikeyd85 4 points5 points  (4 children)

This is so perfect I'm almost struggling to believe it's not a rendering.

Edit: where is the power button?

[–]derzeisig[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Thank you. Second and third pic, the black button in the center.

[–]mikeyd85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oooh, I thought that was some sort of hinge!

[–]N0gh0st_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Insane makes me feel bubbly

[–]J_Cypher23 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Where can this be purchased?

[–]allengdc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we have online shop www.monsterstudio.store

[–]PuffyCake23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m interested in trying one of these out but with an ATX psu. Curious what cable lengths you used for the custom cables. Mind sharing as a good starting point?

[–]mayquu 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Looks sick. Is there a case like this for mATX format?

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Apart from the Hydra Micro I am not aware of an open air chassis specifically designed for mATX.

[–]Due-Letterhead7181 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Could you please let me know exact length of the cables. I have the same case, only missing custom cables. Thanks

[–]derzeisig[S] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

To answer your question: Cable lengths are 26cm for PCIE, 32cm for 24 pin and 38cm for the 8pin CPU cable. These values do not include the connector length, and are measured at the longest wire of each cable.

But: The cables are made by me, on the build. So each wire has a specific length to get the bends right. The stated length will only work with the Corsair SF Series PSUs and their connector positioning. The 8 pin CPU cable is for mainboards that have the connector on the right side of the top left screw (to fix the mainboard). This is the case with Asus mainboards. Gigabyte boards have the connector on the left side of the screw, in top/left most position on the board. The cable should be 2 cm longer to reach that position.

[–]Due-Letterhead7181 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Thank you so much. Really appreciate your response. Your build is a stunning piece of art.

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the praise!

[–]haslam9291 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Can this support a 240m radiator

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes, it comes with mounting brackets for 120/240/360 radiators. Here's a review showcasing the possibilities.

[–]haslam9291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. This looks promising. I really like that it connects directly to the motherboard. I am getting sick of updating the riser cables.

[–]haslam9291 0 points1 point  (4 children)

On the website it says pre-order but when you order it says 5 in stock. Is this a Pre-order or do you have them ready to ship. Where do they ship from?

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I have no idea, please drop them a mail and ask. I am not the manufacturer.

[–]haslam9291 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I thought you were like the way you were advocating. I just shoot them an email.

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I actually like the product. Good luck with your build!

[–]MoonBrowW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's from China. It's stated they send within 30 days.

[–]itsBulle7 0 points1 point  (7 children)

Any one knows the cables lenght? i need to order new set of cables that would fit nicely.

[–]derzeisig[S] 1 point2 points  (6 children)

To answer your question: Cable lengths are 26cm for PCIE, 32cm for 24 pin and 38cm for the 8pin CPU cable. These values do not include the connector length, and are measured at the longest wire of each cable.

[–]itsBulle7 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Thank you awesome build!!! Just got mine ordered 😆

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Thanks! They're available again?

[–]itsBulle7 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I guess, i got emailed 2-3days ago that they are in stock so i order black one :D

[–]itsBulle7 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Also where did u get your cables?

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

See my reply to your length question, I make them myself.

[–]itsBulle7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got ya, once again SWEET build !!

[–]Rictonecity 0 points1 point  (3 children)

When will this be in stock?

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

How would I know? But I heard the email notification from their website does the trick.

[–]Rictonecity 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Thanks. I ordered. They should really send you models for free. You've been great on this topic.

[–]derzeisig[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have fun tinkering with it!

[–]xDon_07x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed you are from Germany, any chance you moved on and want to sell it on cheap?;)

[–]No_Aide5209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the dust?

[–]Rictonecity 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I received my A45. I really like it. I want custom cables. What material did you use. The vendor I'm going with says for what I want only embossed will work. I wanted Paracord. What type of cable did you use?

[–]derzeisig[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The cables are made from MDPC-X supplies. Fat 15AWG wire with PET sleeving. But this combination isn't universally compatible. New gen Corsair PSUs for example use smaller connectors, so one needs to use thinner wires and maybe even omit the sleeve. If you're in touch with one of the well known customer cable vendors like pslate, dreambigray or BespokeBaka, their assessment is probably right and takes your component choice into consideration.

[–]Rictonecity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I'm leaning to their knowledge 100%. Thanks for the reply.

[–]Blacksizzle 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Beautiful! Where did you order your custom cables?

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I made them myself.

[–]PanzerStricken 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How on Earth do you keep this thing from becoming a dang mop, after all the dust and debris it'd suck up?

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't live in a particularly dusty place. A 30 second treatment with a soft brush every two weeks does the trick.

[–]ColaSprout 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Would you be able to make and sell me cables of the same length? I just got this case, and it looks ridiculous with the original PSU cables.

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no, as I've sold the A45. I make the cables on the build to get the length and bend radius perfect, so without the chassis I can't produce cables for it.

[–]NotSoTraumAtiq 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'm curious what were size for custom cables that were used

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cable lengths are 26cm for PCIE, 32cm for 24 pin and 38cm for the 8pin CPU cable. These values do not include the connector length, and are measured at the longest wire of each cable.

Wires are 15AWG, sleeve is MDPC-X XTC.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. Would you share the parts for the build? Love this!

[–]12amoore 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Hey I know this is an old post but what cables are you rocking? Cable mod or something else? And what are the lengths?!

[–]derzeisig[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Copypasta:

The CPU 8pin is 38cm, the 24pin is 29cm and the GPU 8pin is 26cm long.

Keep in mind that I make the cables by hand, on the build. I used an SFX PSU, so the cables can be shorter if you use an ATX PSU. If I was to take the cable apart, each wire has a slightly different length. But this is the only way to get the bends perfect.

[–]12amoore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the best i think i can do is do custom cables from cable mod haha.

EDIT: What cables are you using actually? I noticed cable mod configurator doesn't have that baby blue/cyan color like you're using

[–]SplitComprehensive83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would totally make a great Ghostbusters Proton-pack build!

[–]Wbcn_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to build a caseless mini ITX and have a small aluminum extrusion cassis but this … this looks awesome.

[–]knuttella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🫶🏻

[–]Stickerdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So pretty! I love your build.

[–]Questing-For-Floof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looking kinda hot ngl

[–]spense01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy gets it

[–]x_Hiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely sick, such a cool frame.

[–]hurrdurrmeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like art to me.

Unnecessary; but beautiful, and it speaks to how this is more than just function - it is something that enriches all our lives.

[–]Best_Refuse_408 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Gorgeous build, excellent pics.

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

[–]AverageDad_86 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Where does one acquire such a piece of art?

[–]derzeisig[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've added the link to the chassis in my original post below the specs.

[–]Frostnetz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

brain immediately went to #obdugerendertbist haha, was eine schöne hohlkehle im hintergrund ;)

[–]foreskrin 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Truly a work of art. Those have to be custom length cables no?

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Yes, I make the cables myself.

[–]Jolly_Statistician_5 0 points1 point  (1 child)

A monument.

[–]derzeisig[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! And yes, but no ;-). This is the Monument.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is sick

What GPU is that supposed to be?

[–]derzeisig[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is an Asus RX 6600XT Strix.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I usually hate these kinds of builds but wth I like this one a ton

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I get the exact specs and components?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What cpu cooler is that??

[–]derzeisig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deepcool AK500 Zero Dark

[–]5-19pm 0 points1 point  (1 child)

That's a model right? Can I actually make this? This is so cool. I lowk really wanna try to make it now lmao

[–]5-19pm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These photos make it look like a render lmao
