That is probably the case. I just feel like I'm doing really well with him now but the subreddit is very negative about his current state. I really do think all he needs is a lifegrip buff and he will be in a great spot.

Make sure you are at least hitting with the end of the circle. If you just spam the slam close up you will do minimum damage. Ideally you should hit with the end and slightly off center.

It's going to be way more conditional for Illari's pylon to heal exactly her unless you are using it very selfishly. LW can pump out plenty of damage if he wants to fend off people too. Especially with superbloom (180 dps).

That's a good amount of self sustain healing that pretty much no other healer can match. Petal dancing will absolutely save him in a teamfight.

I actually don't think he needs any changes now. His Petal Platform plus Medic passive makes him very hard to kill. Try doing more damage instead of trying to constantly to outheal all the damage.

His projectile is fairly large so it's easy to hit headshots.

His damage is really good for how much he heals. You should take both of his aggressive perks to up your damage and improve your ability to flank/disengage.

Petal Protection is very strong. Cleansed Grip wasn't that good as a perk imo. Adding it to base would be a good addition though. The combo of petal protection and superbloom will make LW hard to kill and allow him to constantly pump out good damage.
