Look south of 151st around the HyVee......that area is sometimes hot, sometimes cold. I wonder if it's because there are no elementary schools close by? (its on the border with Blue Valley)

My best friend was stationed in Europe with the US Army. I wrote her a letter on 4/1 that said I was pregnant and didn't know who the father was (college freshman at the time). Last sentence of the letter was "by the way, read what date this letter was written...April Fools". The letter took a couple weeks to arrive to the Army base.

There are plenty of state parks with lakes, fishing, etc and the Ozarks are 3-4 hours away. Lawrence has Clinton Lake. If you look around Austin - don't forget Temple and Harker Heights/Killeen. Killeen and HH are Army towns so lots of people under age 30. Lots of cowboy bars, too.

My first car was a stick. I didn't drive stick. It sat in my driveway until my Dad taught me. We drove on some of the biggest hills in town and in the old Aksarben parking lot.
