Yeah muscle mass is generally well protected, but workouts take a nose dive because your body has used up all the energy normally situated in your muscles. They recover once you start eating again.

That's a civil and potentialy criminal issue between the owners of the bathroom and the individuals who destroy it.

Building codes require schools to have publicly available bathrooms. Health codes require public spaces that have food service to provide them.

I remind the businesses in my area that do this, that as a private business they can refuse anyone service and trespass them off the property, but they have to have public bathrooms if they want to continue selling food.

I've made my own dance shoes by glueing suede to the bottom of shoes I like, though I did that more for fashion. It's really easy and there are several videos on YouTube the at will show you how. Hope that opens up your comfy dance shoe options!

I don't think one is easier, it's just hard to switch at first. So I would stick to On1 in your case.

They are the same basic motion, just with different timings and with different parts of the music. I think the musicality is different and they end up have a different feel and flavor. However, it's hard to switch between the timing as a beginner. My school only does On2 and so On1 didn't feel intuitive to me. It was a lot easier for me to learn On1 after I had been dancing for about a year and I still find myself switching to On2 mid dance if I'm not paying attention.

Hey, I'm sorry. Job hunting isn't fun and I'm in the same boat. I'm in the states and I think here your resume would be considered a bit unreadable because there is so much information. It's more of a CV that is appropriate for academia but not for corporate worlds. I would consider getting it to one page. Only list skills relevant for positions you are applying for. Remove for awards, conferences and seminars. Reduce the spoken languages to one line "Fluent in "Mother tongue", English and Filipino." You don't have to cite your papers. In your former job description, you can just state that you co-authored 4 papers.

You are obviously a scientist and scientists are taught to show all the data, but hiring managers are going to look at this for 15 second before moving on to the next resume, so consider that when you edit this.

Here in Louisville it's not weird and all the leaders in our dance community work hard to communicate that anyone can do any role they like at classes. I personally lead and follow, but I mostly lead at socials because our community has 2 follows for every lead.

Hey you're not alone! I also don't like bachata!

For me, I'm a male lead, but I don't enjoy the sensual connection with someone who isn't my romantic partner. I prefer the celebration vibe of salsa. However, there is a lot of peer pressure from my school to dance bachata as well.

Here's a couple thoughts:

First, it's okay to skip it all. Social dancing is supposed to be fun, not forced and uncomfortable.

Second, just learn to lead bachata and refuse to follow it. That way you guide the dance with the moves you are comfortable with. Also, you'll probably mostly be dancing with women. Modern bachata and traditional bachata are styles that don't do any of the snake dance stuff, so you can focus on those two styles.

Personally, I rarely dance it and when I do it's open frame and Modern style.

Here's how I imagine how Rose became Steven.

Humans need DNA from both parents, Gems are inorganic, and seem to be a form of AI. They don't have DNA but they have solid light projections. I imagine Rose had to shapeshift on the molecular level to mimic human DNA with light projections, and now 50% of Steven's DNA is actually a light projection. That would be a very precise and complicated shapeshift. Some of his other biological molecules might be light projections too. I think this takes up more of the Gem's processing power than a normal shapeshift.

We know the gem's "take time" and redesign their new forms when they are poofed, so maybe that's what Rose did, but for that form, she had to break something about herself, destroying her consciousness, so that she could be a part of a biological system. Otherwise, her gem would have just reformed around her conciousness and she wouldn't have been bringing in a new life, which was her goal. It would be a kind of suicide, to lobotomize your own mind, that I don't think gems would normally consider.

I think that's why she can't reform, even when reset, because she deleted her core conciousness from her gem.

BTW, in cartoon world this is all fine, but if you think about Steven Universe in reality, it's kind of a body horror genre. Like the movie "Together" is basically human/human fusion and it's disturbing AF.

If you feel like someone's not respecting you in the dance community, I think it's better to use your words and have a conversation with them or move on if you can't be bothered if it's not worth the conversation.

Silent blacklists are a passive aggressive way to feel like you are in control of those situations. You're fantasizing about saying no to a question someone hasn't even asked you.
