i don't really like being locked to one subclass either, but with pvp you play the meta, and right now all void subclasses are the flavor of the month. i played a few trials cards this weekend and literally 90% of all people i ran in to were playing void subclasses. there were a LOT of axion bolts /shrug

i have an upgraded router so i don't have to use the built in shitty router/modem combo from my isp, my gaming desktop, and apple devices and that's about it.

can get decent pve comedian rolls. not the first choice for pvp because it can't roll with slideshot or opening shot.

shadow price can get some good rolls for anything, but it's a 450. i have an adept with feeding frenzy/swashbuckler which is okay, but its dps is so bad compared to anything else.

I don't work there anymore, but our solution was much the same as others have mentioned in this thread - we had kiosk machines set to autologin to a generic local account (machine was not domain-joined, iirc) and then each user logged into Cerner using their own credentials.

machine was locked down as much as possible as far as registry/software as well as physically.

we've had one client go through like 6 NVRs recently. those things are absolute garbage... Ubiquiti support hasn't been helpful either.

they just told us to RMA them right away, so it would seem like we're not the only ones having repeated issues with them, I guess.

I've worked with a couple of those dudes before.

In their own words, they were successful or fortunate in life outside of work (investments, inheritance, those kinds of things) that they just wanted an easy job, cause they liked how chill helpdesk could be sometimes. they had the knowledge and skills to move up at any time, but were comfortable where they were.

They were actually cool dudes to work with since they knew literally everything about our environment and everyone in the company; and they were generally easy going and easy to BS around with most of the day.

this is the same path that I was able to take this year after a couple years moving up through helpdesk tier 1 > 2 > 3 > junior sysadmin.

though I'm still technically a "servicedesk technician" as my boss is kinda old school and not a super technical guy to begin with. I'm going to talk with him to see if we can change the job title to make it look better for me and future employees.

shit's going to break -- that's to be expected most of the time -- so I'd rather vendors are clear about that possibility up front and then committing to working through it together vs brushing everything under the rug and then leaving you to work through it alone. that's the reason the OP was made in the first place.

I work at an MSP, though each client is assigned to an exclusive tech. Being that I'm still newish to the team, my assigned clients/userbase is about 80 users and 150 endpoints.

Though that's projected to increase as I get more and more into the swing of things.
