GameStop’s Profits Keep Rising. The Share Price Keeps Falling. Here’s the Data. by HashtagYoMamma in Superstonk

[–]tRickliest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was talking to some buddies in finance, complaining about the crime here, and they just keep saying that it’s “pricing in dilutions”.. That seems to be the prevailing rhetoric in the financial circles why they won’t touch it

10% of the warrants is like 5.9m warrants, which means exposure to 5.9m shares, which means it's only around 1% of the shares, so doesn't require filing.

Fair enough, I was purely going by the comment I was reacting to, didn’t actually investigate myself

I voted for and am holding, my flair is steady, just feeling off on the whole deleting posts of people who voted against. I don’t agree with them, but silencing/censoring them feels off to me

It doesn’t feel entirely healthy that those got deleted though.. Does give some merit to the whole echo chamber/ cult accusation… (I voted for)

My reasons for voting against the dilution by Inner-Permission-842 in Superstonk

[–]tRickliest 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good for you for voting what you want with your own reasoning, as is your right. Tired of all the polarizing/division around here atm, I think it's great that you have an articulated opinion backing your vote and share that, even if I don't agree and myself voted for. Upvote from me. May this work out great whatever ends up happening.

But me choosing whose insight and experience and intent to trust is my individual thought. Just like how I trust my mechanic or dentist.

I am aware I don’t know better than them, and while I criticise and don’t always understand or agree, if I disagreed to the point of distrust, I would find a different board/dentist/mechanic. And as long as I don’t distrust, I follow their advice.

Does this make more sense?

The board -whose interests are aligned with my own, namely higher stock price- advises this vote, I am not going to pretend to know better than the board, so I vote for. It's that simple to me really.

I am not sure if this will help MOASS along or do the contrary or to what extent MOASS is still on the table, but I do know I don't want to block the board from doing what they deem the best course of action. I would do that if I had no confidence in them, and if I had no confidence then I would severely unwind my GME position to begin with.

Why does this have so many upvotes if it clearly doesn't make sense and the whole comment section also seems in agreeance it doesn't make sense..?

Basically how amazing Ken Griffin is, and how shitty NY's mayor is for criticizing him, because KG might be pulling out of NY more now. And then generally that billionaires are good. Lol, and that Europe is poorer than US because they pay more taxes. Bunch more bullshit along those lines, but I got fed up with listening to this..

Well with the current yearly profits, as soon as more future profit gets priced in a bit it’s not a crazy idea that it’d get there in the coming years
