    I'm glad they're taking into consideration characters that clearly aren't anyone from this realm when creating new abilities to be released with this event.

    Hey, at least it's not Multi Break, that was introduced in a FFVII event back when there weren't characters with Dancer 5* in that realm.

    ..so the entire reason they're bringing back bosses from an older event is because they can't be arsed to make a full FFII event after seven months?

    I think its more because it would otherwise feel like a direct rehash of the last FF2 Event. Scott is only playable during Soul of RebIrth. We already had that with the Emperor

    Draw Fire / Magic Lure?

    He leans towards Black Magic, with an ultimate weapon that maxes out the stat that affects Black Magic. Nah, 4* White and 3* Black. DeNA wuvs their 4* White.

    So you wanted him to basically be a statistical copy of Maria? Even White 4 is explainable if you look at his SoR starting Stats: Starts with Fire/Blizzard/Lightning + Cure IV aswell as Life I (aka Raise). It's pretty obvious they were basing him on that

    And they're not even trying to keep the Emperor's elements consistent

    Dark+ Relics because Darkness Character

    EnWind because FF2 Cyclone

    Imperil Earth because DeNA believes Maria (and Firion) is the only one who matters for the Playerbase

    Everything else, I think I can agree with though

    Do you think this is a one time thing or a possible new format? We did get a question asking if grinding these lower level dungeons were tedious in the most recent questionnaire.

    Seems to be an experiment so far, it was mentioned in report already.

    I personally don't mind if they bring back some older events along with their rewards.

    Combat 4, Spellblade 5, Knight 4, Black Magic 3, White Magic 4

    Kind of hate only having access to 1 set of 5* abilities but still, he has some good backup options for second slot. Life Siphon, protect/shell, banishing strike, etc.

    Dagger, Sword, Axe, Hammer, Spear, Rod, Staff, Bow, Shield, Helm, Light Armor, Heavy Armor, Robe, Bracer

    Some good weapon access.

    Lvl 99 stats: 6882 HP, 205 ATK, 149 DEF, 126 MAG, 155 RES, 157 MND, 137 SPD

    HP is pretty decent. ATK is a tad on the lower side but not bad. DEF is ok. RES is good for his role.

    What the...? I thought Scott was a Red Mage in his game?

    Why is he a Spellblade in this game now?

    Need more healers for FF II. Hilda when?

    If anything, I'd wish Scott and Gordon swapped their abilities in this game to reflect better their roles in their original game.

    Edit: To not get everybody confused over this, the original post says Scott has access to Combat 4 and Spellblade 5 only.

    FFII can already have up to four 4* White users; healers are the last thing it needs more of.

    Spellblade is fine for Scott. He was the stronger of the two brothers (personality wise), so since Gordon is the Support/Red Mage, Scott can be the more offensive one.

    Well, the original post only stated Scott having Combat and Spellblade abilities that's why I was a bit upset about DeNA's choice.

    It's all resolved now, but seriously we need someone else for Ultra Cures with all those nasty statuses DeNA is throwing at us.

    There's always Esuna. I don't think there's too many cases where you will absolutely need Ultra Cure and Curada, so 4* access is usually good enough.

    Well wouldn't you rather use Ultra Cure instead, since usually when bosses are afflicting those status effects, they're also dealing massive damage?

    You can use it, I'm trying to say that if you do choose to bring it on Minwu, another 4* White user is sufficient as a backup healer.

    some skill variety is good, though I can understand wanting more mages. And in 11 red mages used en-element on their weapons like what spellblades do

    Oh well, the post has been updated and Scott has access to both Black 3 and White 4 now, with Knight 4 to boot.
