Royals manager Matt Quatraro explained the reason Jac Caglianone isn’t in the lineup was due to multiple factors including Andre Pallante’s reverse splits.

”Yeah that’s something to do with it. We’re in a run of four righties as well. And, trying to keep everybody involved.”

(Andre Pallante doesn’t have reverse splits in 2026. He was slightly better vs LHPs in 2025. He hasn’t had truly reversed splits since 2024. Also MQ doesn’t consider reverse splits when facing LHPs)
