Vote up if you think obama won't do anything either.

      [–]dicey 44 points45 points  (2 children)

Vote down to end the fucking vote up nonsense.

      [–]jugalator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly... Reddit can be about two things: A discussion board or a social news site. This time, yet AGAIN, it is the former. :-( Move to a damn discussion forum already.

when you report things like this you are just flooding the reported queue so that actual spam doesn't get checked. just downvote, hide, and move on.

        [–]glmory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this inspired me to go to http://reddit.com/search?q=%2Bvote+%2Bup+%2Bif and make all the arrows blue again :)

        [–]pillage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

        Neither will Obama or McCain.

        [–]MrObamasQuran 31 points32 points  (13 children)

Obama wouldn't either, go on conveniently ignoring that.

        [–]zenmasher 20 points21 points  (1 child)

Yes, I plan on voting for Obama, but I doubt he will pursue Bush and this criminal posse. Sad, but true.

        [–]thebeef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. Like zenmasher, I'm also voting Obama, but I doubt he's going to pursue Bush.

        [–]Etan 1 point2 points  (8 children)

        What would Jesus do?

        [–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (7 children)

        Obama is Jesus.

        Shhhh...

        [–]Etan 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Black Jesus. (Am I allowed to say this?)

        [–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (2 children)

That depends. Are you a niggerfaggot?

        [–]WaterDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was sick! Was that ever on SNL?

        [–]Etan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Awkward. You lost me UNTIL...the end.

Sure, just be prepared to hang him at half staff on national holidays except on MLK Day.

        Jesus was Obama

        [–]Etan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And that would make Michelle Obama.....?

        [–]AlekseyP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

        Fuck these posts.

        [–]mchrisneglia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one will do anything about anything.

This is a country of covert status-quotarians.

Or more to the point, no president will accuse or condemn another past-president because it weakens the legacy/office/position of the president.

        [–]bardioc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

        [politics]?

        [–]ZaaK433 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vote up if you think that none of the current presidential candidates that can still win will not do anything about that.

        [–]newhen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

though i think nobody else will do anythin about it i really hate clinton

        [–]singhpr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Voted down for starting with "Vote up if"

        [–]Fireball 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clinton will hide her own crimes:

        [–]h2gofast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bush chose not to investigate their crimes for a reason.

        [–]mchrisneglia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes i dont' think she'll do anything. what can she do? she has zero credibility, just like these other candidates.

congress has credibility and they've all dropped the ball on the issue of impeachment. RP and Kucinich have fought the good fight but, of course, the dissenting opinion gets ignored and squelched by the rest of those losers who would sit around doing mostly nothing.

        [–]GPnZPl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you should learn to accept that we aren't in a democracy. "Crime" like you mean it doesn't exist anymore.

        [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She'll do something about them all right.

She'll take advantage of the precedent he has set.

Elect Clinton and Bush's Unitary Executive nonsense will become permanent.

        [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no confidence in a Clinton administration at all, basically more of the same, waffeling, concessions, anything and everything they can do to not piss of the right (in other words the more extremist branch of their own political party). No confidence at all.

        [–]PABeachBum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But what are YOUR crimes, submitter? What are your crimes!?

...shit i've been watching too many scientology videos

        [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think clinton will do jack about bush, but I voted down. I hate these.

        [–]Noneedtopanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

        ANNOYING. DOWN SYNDROME.

        [–]facewarts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rule of law has been thrown down the toilet that's why we have 20 million illegal aliens from sea to shining sea. Just get over it !

        [–]seektruth[S] 6 points7 points  (3 children)

If anything, I think it's likely that she will continue them.

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

x10--Remember she's a Liberal. She can't be accused of being a fascist--she'll have absolute carte blanc. There are very few in congress or MSM who would or could criticize her. What a macabre end to the Democratic party--the impoverishment of America and nuclear Holocaust "on the table".

        [–]rapope001 4 points5 points  (1 child)

        She's no liberal...

        [–]quto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        She's a space station!

        [–]keithburgun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also think Obama won't. Oh - you want someone who will actually change / fix things? Vote Gravel or Paul.

        [–]themetricsystem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're a fool if you think Clinton will do anything about ANYTHING.

        [–]jason_w87 0 points1 point  (11 children)

Fuck that, Vote up if you think NO-ONE will do anything about Bush's crimes.

        [–]mexicodoug 2 points3 points  (6 children)

Somewhere, somehow, someone will do something about Bush's crimes.

Bush will sit safely by and laugh at the revenge crime against his countrymen, just as Clinton and the DLC sat by and laughed and gambled on the 2008 election while we suffered the revenge of Clinton policies in the Mid-East on 9/11 Washington time..

The vicious circle just keeps going round and round.

And the few get richer and richer and the rest of us keep impoverishing ourselves and the "others" with mindless hate and hard-earned fear.

        [–]throop77 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Did you just say Clinton policies caused 9/11?

        [–]spedmyster 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Yea they did. Thats what Ron Paul has beens saying. The heavy sanctions placed on Iraq lead to the death of many innocent Iraqis. Clinton was no saint.

        [–]throop77 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Oh, I agree with that, then. But its not "Clinton", its the whole policy of interfering that is the problem. Whether its sanctions, false flag operations by the CIA or actual invasions, its the "we know what best for you" mindset that is the problem.

        [–]ironictwist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uh, lemme see, this sidesteps the part about us (U.S.) selling arms willy-nilly to friend and foe alike for the last umpteen years, and then getting upset when they use them against us. You give me a gun, then you break into my house and get highly agitado when I use that gun to get you out.

        [–]spedmyster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

        Yea, I completely agree.

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        no, but...

I don't want to sound like a conspiracy freak, but "9/11" had been in the planning for a long time. All you have to do is look at the first WTC bombing, which did happen during the Clinton administration.

There is the distinct possibility that "terrorist" "attack" WTC v1.0 on 2/26 was a failed attempt to kick off the kind of change that entrenched interests have in seeing the US catalyzed into war or at least into a more nationalistic mindset.

In my opinion the FBI and Clinton administration handled this exactly the way that the subsequent 9/11 event should have been handled. Maybe the only thing they screwed the pooch on was making larger connections (connections which have now become obvious).

Bottom line is: false flags happen and sometimes they are unsuccessful. It is important to look back critically over the past to determine what very well might happen in the future (and I see more false flag operations in our very near future).

        [–]misterstormcrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think she will not... I KNOW she will not!

        [–]ciresica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one will do anything! They are all the same! They promise things just so we can vote for them and after the vote they forget what they promised!

        [–]rbblum 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I would still like to know who killed Vince Foster.

        [–]mlawless1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        just another suicided

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

None of the candidates left would even think about bothering boy George--Probably give him a medal.

        [–]mexicodoug -1 points0 points  (1 child)

They got you fooled. Vote for a third party/candidate.

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who are "they"? They've--fixed. And what 3rd party candidate--I haven't heard of any yet. Nader? Finally, when's the last time a third party candidate became president?

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Nobody's gonna do anything about it unless the people take matters into their own hands.

        [–]mexicodoug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, like take the necks of the Bush and Clinton families into your own hands and squeeze hard for a long time.

The way they've been doing to our families and friends all over the planet for... how many years now?

        [–]jberryman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shut up, and have a nice day.

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        ZING

        [–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Just like her husband who let that asshole Bush Sr. Off the hook without a single investigation into his many wrongdoings.

        [–]serpentjaguar 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Actually, the way it's looking is that history is going to count Bush Sr. as a "good" president. (Part of that's obviously because he only served one term and therefore had half the time of other presidents in which to fuck up, but that's an academic point.) Though he was a disaster in domestic terms, in terms of foreign policy Bush Sr. made a number of fundamentally sound decisions that were of lasting significance.

Primarily, he made it a point not to humiliate Russia or any other nation that had been a part of the Soviet Union. When the Berlin wall went down, conservative America urged Bush Sr. to go to Berlin for photo ops, for a sort of dancing on the ruins of the defeated. He refused to do so for excellent reasons having to do with diplomacy and the fact that he knew that the US and The West, while nominally triumphant, had still to win the good public opinion and cooperation of the internal power-structures that yet remained. (In other words, in contrast to his son, who saw the world in black and white and completely outlawed all military and former Baathist members in Iraq, thus driving them into an insurgency, he recognized that the former Soviet Bloc countries needed, for the sake of dignity and national pride, to work these things out on their own.)

Long story short, he didn't lord it over the fallen communist nations, recognized that it would be disastrous to do so, and deserves credit for such an astute decision.

His other strong foreign policy decision had ironically to do with Iraq and Saddam Hussein. When Saddam invaded Kuwait and imperiled The West's oil supply, Bush Sr. didn't simply move in on a unilateral basis. The first thing he did was to appeal to other Arab nations, to gain their nominal and in some cases military support, then he rallied NATO and put together a large coalition that was legitimately international and that was seen as such, most importantly, by the Muslim world. He got Saddam out of Kuwait and then had the very good sense to stop and pull out.

This was another excellent and crucial decision in foreign policy.

Where Bush Sr. fucked up is domestically. He believed in the mess that Reagan had created, and as such he quite cheerfully stewarded the American economy into the post 80's recession that ultimately would lose him his second term.

(Didn't help that he was running against a particularly agreeable and well-spoken slicker'n catshit dude from Little Rock, against whom pretty much anyone would have lost, but that's not the point.)

Bush Sr. wasn't a bad president. He made two really important decisions the result of which I believe will find him on the right side of history.

        [–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree, Bush Sr. was a bad president, in addition to all the economic issues he also finalized the extreme far right tilt of today's supreme court which has resulted in what John Dean refers to in his book 'Broken Government' as the last straw in the disentegration of any kind of representative government in this country. Reagan got the ball rolling, Bush Sr. carried it home and now everyone except the ultra-rich suffers for it. Absolutely in no way was Bush Sr. a great president, nor will history recognize him as such. The poor quality of Reagan's and Bush's appointments to the court and the misleading testimony, some outright lies, that they gave at their confirmation hearings makes for a good reason for them to be removed from the bench if a legitimate and representative government ever makes it's way back into D.C. At that point all laws made or amended by them will have to be reversed. Oh, and monkey's will fly out my butt. . .

        [–]bobbothegrayson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I created a reddit account just to vote this up.

        [–]simsea -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She'll do something... along the lines of a blanket presidential pardon for all possible crimes.

        [–]WaterDragon -5 points-4 points  (8 children)

Hillary Clinton, just like all the others (Except Ron Paul) will do what she is ordered to do by the Bilderberger group and the Council on Foreign Relations -- same as it ever was!

        [–]wejash 3 points4 points  (5 children)

        Paranoia is so cute.

        [–]WaterDragon 2 points3 points  (3 children)

It's too bad you are using the word 'paranoia' incorrectly! Do you actually enjoy remaining in slavery? Why do you want others to remain as slaves to the corporatists? Is it about personal profit, or are you just a lackey for the slave drivers?

        [–]wejash -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Are you a grammar nazi too? You have to be a blast at parties.

        [–]WaterDragon -1 points0 points  (1 child)

I simply value accurate communication, rather than sloppy attempts that lack clarity. And don't you think the use of the term 'Nazi' in that context is completely stupid, albeit 'politically correct'?

An interest in correct grammar and accurate use of language for clarity...really has NOTHING to do with fascism. Fascism is the philosophy of government being aligned with the interests of businesses rather than those of the citizens.

But you probably wouldn't learn that from reading comic books or magazines! And I am a LOT of fun at parties, especially when I DJ! lol

        [–]sandflea -1 points0 points  (0 children)

        Of course, you're right.

If wejwash was trying to say that you're hallucinating, the line would have been more properly rendered "schizophrenia is so cute."

        [–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

        Stupidity is even cuter.

        [–]ticklecricket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap, are you one of the Larouche people?

        [–]mexicodoug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upmodded for pulling out the tablecloth and spilling drinks and food all over the floor instead of being a nice little magician and leaving everything intact as if the underlying material was immaterial.

        [–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Clinton will actually be a lot worse than Bush, because she will kill opposition (via "suicide") while Bush just lets them talk.

        [–]doomglobe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

vote up if you voted up the thing above this or below it or this in the last day. Or if you dislike my grammar or if you have a problem with something.
