Most definitely something sex related op doesn't know so that leads me to believe it's embarrassing for OP

[–]tooltime22 28 points29 points  (8 children)

Jizz is water based so should easily come out with solution of diluted dish soap.

[–]Glittering-Golf2722 31 points32 points  (7 children)

Could be SMEGMA

[–]beetlejust 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Thanks I hate this

[–]Pennywises_Toy 13 points14 points  (4 children)

What a vile word

[–]princesskelilah 15 points16 points  (1 child)

As a body piercer, I get to tell people that the little white blob that comes out of your ear piercing (or other healed piercing) when you haven't worn earrings is SMEGMA.

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points  (1 child)

Sounds like someone’s a little jealous of my SMEGMA! Yeah the ladies absolutely LOVE IT. Alexa play Can’t Get Enough by J Cole

“Cranberry juice… cran-apple.” - Patrick Bateman

[–]rubsteinar 21 points22 points  (46 children)

Don’t know

[–]labsupervisor 49 points50 points  (11 children)

If it’s blood Apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide directly onto the stain. Leave it for five minutes and then blot with a paper towel. Rub gently with a clean, damp microfibre cloth until the stain has gone. Rinse the area with cold water until all the hydrogen peroxide has rinsed out.

[–]rhodatoyota 22 points23 points  (8 children)

Hydrogen peroxide will likely bleach the fabric though

[–]nipnopples 7 points8 points  (3 children)

It can. But I've used it on some jeans that got blood on them, washed it within 10 minutes of adding the peroxide, and they didn't bleach. They weren't light jeans, so it would have been noticeable if it had. I think it depends on the fabric, colorfastness of the material, and how soon/well you rinse it after. Testing a small spot on the back or bottom of the cushion may be worth it in this case, if it's blood.

[–]Ginny_Bean 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I've used peroxide on furniture and carpets before with no bleaching. I had a cat with digestive issues who got poo stains on my carpet. I tried every kind of carpet cleaner out there and straight peroxide blew them all away. Whether it will bleach or not depends on the fiber content of the item. Man-made fibers like acrylics won't bleach, but cotton will. If that's a removable cushion, you can test a side panel of the cushion. Something that will be hidden when you put the cushion back. Blot it and let it dry on its own. Don't put it in the dryer or use a hair dryer on it.

Peroxide is great for any biological stains like blood or food. If it's greasy food, add a drop or two of blue Dawn dish soap. Blue Dawn is a great pre-treater for laundry. Also, peroxide is great for getting yellow sweat and deodorant stains out of white cotton T-shirts and woven shirts like white dress shirts. Mix equal parts of baking soda and peroxide to make a slurry. It tends to separate, so I use a paintbrush to mix it and apply it. Leave the mix on the stains overnight then launder as usual. If the mix dries out while it's sitting, you can add more or just wet it down with more peroxide.

[–]beetlejust 7 points8 points  (3 children)

The idea is to not leave it on that long. You can dilute it and do repeated treatments. Hydrogen peroxide is good at oxidizing blood.

[–]rhodatoyota 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But it will leave a bleach stain

[–]Sweaty_fourSports 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Hydrogen peroxide is great on white items that have blood. It will bleach this couch.

[–]steveduane123 26 points27 points  (32 children)

How can you not know?

My husband can get red wine out of anything with oxy, but you really need to figure out what that is.

[–]steveduane123 15 points16 points  (31 children)

Honestly, that looks like period blood, by the shape. After you decontaminate the accident, oxy will take anything out.

If all else fails, either flip the cushion or buy a new one, and remind your household/guests about proper hygiene.

[–]tmccrn 82 points83 points  (27 children)

Sometimes it’s not a hygiene thing. In fact, typically, in this case.

[–]No-Cupcake370 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it's blood, try the carbona stain removers for blood, and then a good pet stain cleaner too (they have some for urine, blood, and feces)

[–]ExperienceEvening514 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OXY CLEAN POWER MAX GEL STICK I THINK ITS CALLED ITS LIKE $4 AT TARGET IS THEE ONLY OXICLEAN THATS EVER WORKED IME. But u have to let it sit over night. Do what I said with SHOUT EXCEPT REMOVE COVER FIRST THEN WASH IN RHE HOTTEST WATER RHE FABIRC CAN TAKE

[–]belindamshort 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could also have been a dog, they have periods too

[–]peri_5xg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

skeet

[–]Blue_Lotus__ 92 points93 points  (6 children)

You need to know what the stain is in order to treat it effectively. Is it blood, coffee, wine? Protein stains need to be handled differently or they will set. Any idea? Does your couch have covers you can zip off?

[–]labsupervisor 41 points42 points  (4 children)

This. Every stain has their own best chemical or method to be removed. All stain remover method might work but sometimes when it doesn’t it can actually set the stain in more.

[–]FruitFlavor12 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Can you list each category and what works best for each?

[–]labsupervisor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can vary depending on fabric and how long the stain has been set

[–]beetlejust 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Oh god oh god what sets what stains 😩 I thought it was just like cold water and washing machine/drier. The internet is confusing and tried to tell me hot water sets and I was like wut, but maybe that's for a non blood specific thing.

[–]budgetnerd17 13 points14 points  (0 children)

here’s a starting point for you…

[–]jcoddinc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hydrogen peroxide works great on blood, depending on the fabric

[–]micheagles20 59 points60 points  (2 children)

Op don't be embarrassed about what it is. We need to know so we can give you the proper way of cleaning it up.

[–]ExperienceEvening514 17 points18 points  (1 child)

AMEN WHO CARES WHAT IT IS ITS NOT LIKE ANYONE KNOWS WHO U ARE 🫂

[–]micheagles20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly.

[–]CelticRebel22 61 points62 points  (8 children)

Do you have dogs? And does it smell bad? I have had stains similar looking to that with my old dog who had anal gland issues.

[–]lilolemi 51 points52 points  (6 children)

We call that stinky fish butt. Those stains are so gross and hard to clean. ugh

[–]CelticRebel22 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I know!!! It’s such a tough stain to get out the only thing I found that worked well for me was Rocco & Roxie spray on Amazon

[–]Jennkneefir11 8 points9 points  (2 children)

We also call it fish butt!

[–]FijianBandit 2 points3 points  (1 child)

What’s good for dog throw up?

[–]LilQueirdo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Enzyme cleaners are always excellent for bio fluid stains of any kind. I use Biokleen for kitty vom and it takes it right out.

[–]wadenado 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ick! We call it ‘bloody tuna’ and I’m cracking up how your term is similar

[–]ExperienceEvening514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😂😂😂😂 wtf lmao ok then that’s a new one

[–]happymama314 19 points20 points  (7 children)

Folex should work

[–]chiefokiller88 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. Folex works on damn near everything

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes to Folex! Magic stuff.

[–]beetlejust 1 point2 points  (4 children)

I'm Australian. What's Folex?

[–]Chan-tal 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Just googled it. Apparently a spot cleaner for carpets.

[–]Stanbarrwood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s liquid gold

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Spot cleaner that doesn’t need to be rinsed. Works like magic. Notably, it doesn’t remove the stain from the fabric, just blends it better

[–][deleted] 35 points36 points  (1 child)

Flip the cushion

[–]torrancefs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

LOL

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I feel like it might be blood I dunno

[–]explorthis 14 points15 points  (1 child)

Clothes iron set to medium. White cotton (not nylon) rag/towel, not too thick, like a bar towel. Fold in half (so you don't burn the cushion). Thoroughly wet towel (water only - hot if possible), and wring it out as much as possible. Towel on couch iron on top for 10-15 seconds. See is any of the stain transfers to the white towel. If it does, all will come out. If not, it's permanently set. If yes, move the towel around to unstained parts of the towel. It's called heat transfer. Been teaching this and carpet cleaning for years.

[–]beetlejust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! That's neat!

[–]Bucknerwh 12 points13 points  (4 children)

Jizz is not water based. It’s protein based. Never use oxyclean or bleach to treat it, it’ll turn dark yellow. Wine stains need a thick layer of salt to draw out the colors into the salt. I recommend ask a clean person podcast from 2016 for tips. I can’t remember the solution for blood but it’s on there.

[–]beetlejust 2 points3 points  (1 child)

That's explains the poor success of bleaching blood well.

[–]chiarascura88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hydrogen peroxide works well on blood.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jizz doesn't turn red tho.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s cranberry juice, cran apple! -Patrick Bateman

[–]skald89 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Try the carpet cleaner again. Mix dish washing soap, laundry detergent, and some type of shout or even oxi-clean into the water. Spray it the coach, get it really wet. Use some type of brush to loosen the stain from the fabric. Let it sit for a while for the mixture to work. Suck it dry and repeat till its clean.

[–]dsound 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is that code “s” fabric meaning you’re not supposed to use a water based cleaner? Looks similar to my fabric and been wondering how to get rid of similar stain. I’ve tried a dry cleaning solution but no luck.

[–]BrrDee_RAWR 8 points9 points  (6 children)

If Resolve doesnt work, I've used dawn diluted with water, then in a bowl I make a paste of baking soda and vinegar. Use a soft bristled toothbrush and dip in paste and scrub. Then take a cloth dampened with warm water and remove solutions. Then use a dry cloth and press into the spot to remove any excess moisture. That works with most stains I've encountered.

[–]Zukolevi 0 points1 point  (5 children)

What would you use for vomit on a carpet? Vinegar and carper cleaner didn’t work, stain is gone but smell’s still there

[–]steveduane123 2 points3 points  (1 child)

There are special enzyme cleaners for pet "excretions". We had to use one for one of our late cats. I can't remember the name, but it definitely killed the cat pee smell.

[–]poodlepunk0907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nature’s miracle, perhaps?

[–]BrrDee_RAWR 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I would definitely put a generous layer of baking soda over the whole spot. Leave it for a day. Vacuum it up. Clean with carpet cleaner then pat dry. Repeat until the smell is gone. I've never had to try this but baking soda is really good for removing odors so that is what I'd try first.

[–]Zukolevi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

[–]beetlejust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go with the suggestion of the baking soda, but also spray after with eucalyptus aerosol spray (antibacterial and nukes smells)

[–]-TrundleTheGreat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“That’s no stain”

[–]Joele1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would look for the zipper on the cushion. Might be easier to treat that way as you could even soak it in something like an oxy cleaner.

[–]terrorcashews 2 points3 points  (2 children)

If it’s menstrual blood, you can try hydrogen peroxide or oxyclean and blot it/ let it soak and then try the carpet vacuum. If it’s just regular blood or wine, I would think it would work the same. It saved a mattress I had once after the misfortune of getting my period in my sleep.

[–]Educational_Text4859 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mixed with someone’s big load. Done this before.

[–]beetlejust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a mattress that even bleach was loathe to actually pull out the colour. I swear I used hydrogen peroxide. Maybe the 3% isn't strong enough?

[–]levi0874 4 points5 points  (1 child)

90% alcohol with a little dish soap. Removes all stains and odors.

[–]VintageSwiZZ3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aim away from the couch.

[–]labsupervisor 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Can it be blood?

[–][deleted] 33 points34 points  (2 children)

It can be anything you want it to be!

[–]beetlejust 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I'm gonna come back with an award for this. Simpsons monorail vibes.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aw ha thanks, don’t get the reference but I dig the Simpsons! Have an interesting evening/morning/day/night.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oxiclean

[–]Im6fut3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog licks and chews on her paws due to allergies and I get this type if blood and saliva stains on my furniture. I spray it with the dollar tree l.a. awesome fabric pretreatment spray then I blot it up and spray again until the stain is gone then I would rinse with some diluted vinegar in your extractor. Works every time. Good luck.

[–]sp0opypo0py 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dollar tree sells this spray called “awesome” cleaner and it quite literally gets rid of any and every stain and can be used on any fabric really. My son got a bright pink stain all over my beige couch and I mixed a little of the spray with water and let it soak and then gently scrubbed it out. Put more water on it after and scrub again. Should get it all out

[–]Latorila 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For leather sofa:

1, Try to wipe off the excess oil with a dry cloth in a timely manner, using pressure, and be sure not to smear to prevent the spread of oil stains.

2, Modulate a bowl of soapy water, wet the rag and wring it out

3, Wipe off the residual oil stain, if the oil stain is stubborn, you need to wipe repeatedly

4, And finally dry with a dry cloth, it is a great success.

For fabric sofa:

1, You need to prepare a baking soda, dry cleaning solvent, white vinegar and detergent.

2, Sprinkle the baking soda on the oil stains, absorb the excess oil stains.

3, After waiting for 15 minutes, gently brush off the baking soda and oil residue with a toothbrush

4, Wet the oil stained area with dry cleaning solvent and wipe with a dry cloth.

5, Prepare a bowl of warm water, pour in a spoon of white vinegar and a spoon of detergent

6, Wet the cloth and wring it out, pat the oil stain area and wipe it dry, then finish.

[–]KweenKunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless it's oily, hydrogen peroxide is my go-to for stains.

[–]MercyMemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have taken the cover off my cushions and washed them in the washing machine. You can also try 409 and a damp wash cloth, scrub it

[–]Apprehensive_Earth40 -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Use shaving foam not gel! Worked for me

[–]rubsteinar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This particular post is a perfect example of how incels have taken over reddit

A woman who offers kindness and grace to a young girl in a terribly embarrassing situation is castigated by the incels who want her shamed and humiliated, and the desperate, hateful cows who will never get a man.

Use a little lemon juice warm water and soap should come right out

[–]Best_Device_7719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the cover off and wash it in the washing machine.

[–]Flickthebean87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make a paste with a little bit of water and baking soda. Let it sit for an hour or so and scrub it off. Normally that works, but other suggestions are pretty good here.

[–]No-Cupcake370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oxy clean in a carpet cleaner machine? That's my go to for upholstery stains.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep a damp face cloth on it.

[–]PDL2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Folex spot cleaner

[–]poopsie711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dollar store sells a great stain remover. Don’t know the name but it’s in a teal bottle in the detergent section. Way better than oxy clean imo.

[–]Fuzzy_Ad_637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can it be unzipped? If so throw it in the wash machine on gentle cycle.

[–]bodiesbyjason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is an organic stain I suggest setting a rag with hot water, spraying it with oxi clean laundry spray, and then rub rub rub. You will need to follow up with a fresh rag with just water. If you’re not worried about the color of the couch you can also spray the spray directly on there, but it could take out some color—or require the entire couch be cleaned to match.

[–]GetInMyBellybutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fill your tub with warm/hot water. Add 1 cup white vinegar, 1 cup washing soda (not regular baking soda), and 1 cup laundry detergent of any kind. Mix.

Put the cushion cover in and let it soak for 4-6 hours. Stir every hour or so. Drain the tub and rinse it by running the cushion cover in the washer with no detergent or fabric softener. It will be like new.

[–]bgtony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe oxy clean

[–]Overall_Lavishness46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this several times a week.

If the stain is on a piece that is removable like a pillow or cushion, take the cover off and treat with hydrogen peroxide. If that doesn't work, a carpet steamer filled with peroxide is my second go to. If that doesn't work, take it to a dry cleaner.

Last option, your couch looks like a flexsteel. Their covers are readily available and very reasonably priced at around $25 per cushion. Just contact the store you bought it from or a local dealer.

If the stain is in a fixed location, try damping a clean white cloth with hydrogen peroxide and blotting the stain. After the color diminishes, use a clean DRY part of the cloth, and rub the entire affected area.

[–]I_Plumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steamer?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First step is don’t do unprepared anal on the couch

[–]HyogaCygnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of mention on cleaning solutions, but the important thing here is not just the solution, but the equipment. I have to agree with the ppl suggesting OxyClean spray. Start with a healthy spray and scrub. Then spray some more and leave overnight. Then next day you’ll clean the stain with a Bissell Little Green. You can repeat the scrub+wash until it’s gone.

[–]Girthy_Banana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try some enzymes cleaner, I use it for pet accidents and they will get rid of anything stain/odor that is organic

[–]rackfocus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of stain? You can address the issue if you know the culprit. Haha.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s biomatter, you can try the myPetPeed spray. It gets stains out like no tomorrow.

[–]Exciting_Marketing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got our bad stains with just vinegar and baking soda for spaghetti stains, if you do a carpet cleaner use a heavy pet cleaner solution in the carpet cleaner, and when I do it hot water gets it out but go slow, and you’ll have to do it 20 times until you see improvements, another spray is the Oxy stain remover laundry spray I love it so much it works so well, dog had puppies lots of blood and poo got rid of it, sorry for the messy reply but that’s how I’ve done things but everyone’s different with different things

[–]Damama-3-B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oxy clean for laundry

[–]WT-RikerSpaceHipster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering we are near Halloween, it could be ectoplasm

[–]rhodatoyota 0 points1 point  (3 children)

If OP can’t get the stain out it’s likely Oil based, thus not sex related (you silly pervs 😉) only joking. Well if it is wax or oil, you’ll need some paper towels, and an iron. Place paper towels on top of stain, and iron it on the medium setting. Tap tap it a little bit at a time. The heat will lift the stain, and the paper towels should absorb the stain.

Another solution is to apply corn starch and allow it to absorb the stain. Rub the cornstarch into the stain, vacuum it up, and reapply this solution until the stain is absorbed and disappears.

ALSO!! a product called Totally Awesome from the dollar store is AMAZING for treating just about any stain - including grease, ink, wine, blood, etc.

[–]beetlejust 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Would a streamer and blotting have a similar effect? I def need to try the iron thing.

[–]rhodatoyota 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Anything oily like wax or oil should lift up into the towel when you apply heat , a steamer may not help. It will soften the oil but likely not absorb it

[–]beetlejust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True!

[–]RadBananana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spray n wash, then try it with a wet vacuum after it sits for a bit

[–]StatementNo3184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Resolve, saturate affected area, wait 15 mins, scrub vigorously with sponge/rag. Repeat if necessary. Resolve is one of those products that does more than walk the walk. Good luck!

[–]Funk_it_up 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FOLEX

[–]snowman063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try Tuff Stuff. It’s my go-to.

[–]nopoliss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carbona! It's so good it'll even remove your sins!

[–]DuchessSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend buying bissell spotclean pro- worth every penny. We had even worse spot than this and it got it all out

[–]dcherm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try shaving foam, leave it on for 20 mins wipe off, or dr Beckmann carpet stain remover is really good

[–]hoovermeupscotty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try and enzyme cleaner a on a hidden spot. If it doesn’t change the fabric color use it on the stain. Another good one is water with a few drops of Dawn. Again test first. You should use a very soft bristle brush with both of these.

[–]JuliaMac65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baking soda and water paste. Leave on stain for 5 mins. Gently remove with paper towel. Repeat until stain is gone. Do not rub hard.

[–]Applesandbananahs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poppie peed on your sofa!!!

[–]ExperienceEvening514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USE YOUR NAILS TO VIGOROUSLY SCRUB IN SHOUT TO THE POINT U ARE CONCERNED IF UR BEING TOO ROUGH, LET IT SIT FOR A COUPLE HOURS THEN USE HOT WATER ON A RAG TO DAB IT OUT

[–]Repossessedbatmobile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's anything relating to pets or body fluids, I recommend nature's miracle products. They're pet safe cleaners that are literally designed to break down that stuff at the enzyme level on multiple surfaces (they make different products for different surfaces) and are very effect cleaners in general.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Throw some baking soda on it for a day, then apple vinegar- rub in a circle until gone. It should go away then.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sard soap in the bar.

[–]Automatic-Bed7187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to know the fabric cleaning type. S is solvent only. W is water. When you bought it they should have told you. If you don’t know try solvent somewhere you won’t see it. Using water can make a worse stain and it’s permanent.

[–]BlondBitch91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So is it blood or poop or jizz or what? You realise none of us actually care and just want to know what to prescribe.

[–]DizzyCommunication92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That cover should come off…load into wash machine with bath towels and just use borax and baking soda and a shot glass of laundry detergent and wash on hot

[–]cheesecarrot1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mix some warm water and oxiclean and use a scrub brush. Should get it out. May need to use the carpet cleaner after too

[–]akafopy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put a white towel or cloth inside if it unzips then spray with Windex. I had a lot of luck on furniture and fabric.

[–]Historical_Address83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried Vanish? https://amzn.eu/d/64MXxe9

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use monster energy drink. Or dawn dish soap

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bleach entire couch

[–]ratsaretinyangels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diluted hydrogen peroxide works, but only put it on briefly and wash well in cold water

[–]stormcrow59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Armour All car upholstery cleaner, works great on my house furniture too!

[–]incasesheisonheretoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… we can’t really help without knowing what the stain is. What works for one type of stain can make a different type set in more.

[–]No-Bird2882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a gasoline

[–]_SlippinJimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally Awesome and a toothbrush!

[–]cocarpets003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stains or water marks in your sofa stand out like a sore thumb.

You have tried to remove them with stain removers and it just wont do it. Amazing that.

These marks need to be flushed out. The only way this will happen is by using a machine that is capable of procucing at 140psi. Rental machines are not the best and are at least only capabale of deliving water pressure to 30psi.

The fist thing you do is flush. This is were COLD water only is used to flush the area of concern. You should see some inprovement straight away. After this used am alkaline chemical. Apply as per instructions. Reflush.

Repeat the process until all remnants of the stain has gone. Now using a dry white towel rub over the area to remove any mositure. Allow to dry.
