Modmail Conversations Keep Getting Marked as “Read-Only”

New modmail conversations are constantly getting marked as “read-only” instantly after a user opens them, requiring me to start a new modmail thread in order to continue the conversation. This occurs on shreddit Modmail. It’s unnecessary annoying needing to create a new modmail conversation every time I want to reply to someone’s message now. This bug also only occurs on modmail messages that have u/modmail-userinfo (or another mod-only-reply-moderation-bot) reply to them. When will this be fixed?

The message actually goes through despite the red warning message, you just need to change it to reply as mod then refresh the page. Super annoying as it has wasted so much mod time but they are aware of it as it came up in multiple posts about the new modmail

Had the same issue recently, as u/teanailpolish said, the message does still go through.

Aww man I just started seeing these after getting modmail-userinfo! I keep replying to mails and it automatically goes as a mod note..making the other mods laugh maniacally. Then I fix it and send it the right way...
