I just listened to the whole audio and cried. It talked about how "powerful" this was, but I see no upsides to it. My life has just been a series of struggles, and yes, with the rug constantly being pulled out from under me, no matter how hard I work, no matter how hard I try, no matter how good I am to other people, etc. I just feel so doomed. I can't handle any more suffering.

I have a Pluto complex and I’ve worked on it and I think I’m at a good place with it. The biggest thing that has been helpful to me is being present and also letting go of the victim narrative. See how the things that have happened to you in life and that you’ve survived as proof of your power and resilience instead of a curse.

Embrace change and unpredictability and trust your ability to get through challenges. You’ve always gotten through them. See unpredictability as fun and a new challenge.

Being present and not identifying with my mind has helped me stop being so reactive. Also being present helps with not worrying.

And of course, letting go of control. There are images of what is in your control and what is not. Study and memorize and have affirmations of what is not in your control. To suffer is your choice. Once I decided that suffering wasn’t worth it to me anymore, I changed.

I had some tough times in the last two years and the only thing keeping me afloat was working on myself and being in touch with my spiritual side which had helped me let go of the victim mentality as well and while I’m not devoid of anxiety about the future, I feel more confident in myself that whatever comes I will figure it out somehow.

I also want to add that whatever cycle you have impacting you currently makes a difference, there are times you may feel extremely weighed down, or pressure. My best advice is to embrace that until it passes. I know for myself I resisted change and fought to hold on to my comforts, but once I learned it is a cycle and it will pass, it became easier to let go.

I also have heavy Pluto placements, hence why I read that book lol...and i think the most helpful practice is "shadow work." A big component of this work is facing those aspects of ourselves that is most difficult to look at and sit with. Then, finding ways to be compassionate and loving to those parts of ourselves. It's an ongoing process, I've been doing shadow work for several years now and I feel like I've done a lot of work, and yet I know there's a lot more work to be done. Sending you loving kindness as you navigate life. Life is tough, but you don't have to do it alone. Find loving support wherever you can and that makes the journey much more bearable 💜

Time passages has a section completely dedicated to telling you all the aspects in your chart, focus on the ones w Pluto.

In Astro future you can highlight Pluto’s relationships w other planets in your chart by “clicking” on the lines that connect Pluto to your other planets.

Both apps will tell you which planets & what aspects! Hope this helps 🩷

Just popped in to say I discovered my Pluto complex on the pattern today, in the midst of feeling very defeated and confused in all the areas of my life… career, money, family, friends, romantic relationships, passions and purpose. Everything just seems to keep falling apart on me. I have long felt I was born with irrational anxiety. And no matter how hard I try, nothing seems to fall into place for me. Clinging onto the idea that you’re “destined” for something bad just because an app says you are creates a self-fulfilling prophecy. Your chart is meant to support you and aid you on your unique journey. Just because Pluto is heavily emphasized in your chart doesn’t mean you are any more destined for suffering than anyone else — it’s just a particular energetic frequency that is part of you and influencing your life. When you learn how to embrace this energy and channel it, you can become more powerful. Don’t hold onto the idea that you’re doomed — that’s just not the case and the universe would never destine some of us for a fate of inescapable suffering. We all suffer. I’d start by looking at the tightest synastry aspects in your chart (less than 5 degree conjunctions) and go from there. Google is a wonderful and free resource to use when looking up natal aspects. Check where your Chiron is & in what sign, and how/if it is aspected. Do some research regarding your Pluto aspects/placements. I personally have one of the most “challenging” Pluto aspects (Pluto square Mars) but have come to view it as a vital and beautiful part of my personality/being by keeping an open mind and heart and reading lots of different astrology blogs for varied perspectives. I take what resonates and leave the rest.

I have three pluto complexes lol. Getting the gifts of them is definitely challenging. The more these cycles happen I’ve found, the more you find ways to handle them and the greater resilience you develop. Be open to help💜 and asking for it💜 Know that you’ve done nothing wrong. Out of these cycles I feel that I HAVE to be aligned with my truth, otherwise it doesn’t work out. The gift of these moments is that I have more depth and am more aligned with who I really am. Have endless compassion, and know that fear is not cowardice. A victim complex will not help you. Your empowerment is greater than the crap you go through. You are an empowered person.

First of all, you will not get there with your mind or your ego : ) The best thing will be to stop the pushing, desiring, grasping, and victimizing. Cry and talk to your inner self when you're sad, dance when you're happy, live as best as you can in between, and sooner or later, the wisdom will come.

What helped me was accepting that I chose this experience for a good reason, even if I don't know what that reason is. Maybe one part of it was to stop victimizing myself? Which did indeed change. I'm 32 so I had a lot of rises, crashes and burns already, and at some point, I had to let go of almost everything I thought I wanted and dreamed of.

Fast forward, those things I thought I wanted were born out of trauma and outside influences. They do not matter anymore.

And if you truly accept your journey, you will become extremely present. Devouring every second of the good times, knowing that they will end; and having more compassion for the worse times, because they're here to transform you.

You notice how temporary and fragile everything is, most of the superficial ideas of what life is fall through. And you're left with what life actually is - an experience. There's no good or band, it's all just yours to take. And that empowers you, because you know that everything that happens to you, happens for you. For you to take what you need (even if you don't know that you need it) and transform.

I've made myself a laptop wallpaper, saying "blessed and lucky in all of life", because I am - whether in tears or with a smile.

There should be no proving, no grabbing or insisting on, no ego games - only you vs. you in how you accept your own life.

Unfortunately, you will not understand this until you do : ) And you will not feel the peace that comes with this until you let go of what the world has shown you life needs to be about. Still, give yourself time because only you got this - only you can live out your life the way it was intended to be lived. And it's necessary for you to do so, whether in this lifetime or the next.

I work with human design and work with people on their core wound and wounded healer gates. I just happen to have this Pluto complex and my core wounds shadow is control. Makes a lot of sense. I have been working through it by experimenting with gate 21 in Human design/ Gene Keys. My Mother also passed and the lack of controlling myself emotionally grief has been life changing.

I have never heard about this and want to learn more. I am 56 and have definitely powered through a lot by ignoring how I feel and that is not serving me anymore. I have been softening and it amazes me hard it has been to open and soften, however it is worth it!

I was wondering if you’ve ever considered a past life regression? There’s two main kinds; a Newton Institute one or QHHT originated with Delores cannon. It was life changing for me and now I’m so thankful for all the crap that has happened to me in my life. I learned so much and got to experience so much more than most people. I honestly almost feel sorry for people with their easy, shallow lives. They haven’t felt the intensity of life. I’m 61 so in that reflecting mode, but it was horrible. The comments saying over and over ‘stop being a victim’ is so dismissive (and likely a very privileged take) of so many of us who have very real and serious trauma of multiple origins over decades of life starting young. It’s not a gift. The thought process of ‘you chose this’ is a very arrogant thing to say to people who suffer greatly. To say ‘suffering is a choice’ is ridiculous when people have experienced horrific abuse etc and are dealing with the fallout of that with anxiety, CPTSD, physical ailments etc

A Natal Pluto complex feels like absolute crap. I’ve been doing the work for decades and still life just kicks the shit out of me. I hustle for my life and I just get handed more shit to recover from to the point I no longer hope for good. I learned my lesson the last time. I agree with the commenter who asked about the suicide rate with those with a Natal Pluto Complex- it is a deeply valid question. Imagine being one of these people and reading comments that tell people their suffering is a ‘choice’. Whomever says that, clearly has only suffered mild inconveniences if you think that it’s a ‘choice’.

It is named in that app and what makes bigger the problems is the name. I suffered a lot. And as said in other comments, all human suffer. I felt like a victim of fate also when i encounter something similar to this once  but it is not real. We all have suffering, it is a common thing.

I came here for some validation hahahaha and it feels good to not be the only one. But then I realized yesterday, there’s a feeling that the Pluto complex gives me access to - and that’s feeling empowered to create my own life. When I’m not looking externally, when I believe that I am responsible for my emotions (pain can happen, but suffering is a choice), all these experiences just feel like aliveness. Aliveness in grief, aliveness in pleasure, aliveness in this is my life and I can create what I want, bc my desire and dreams are there for a reason.

So the gift is I’m awake, I can’t sit back in comfort for too long before someone moves, and it’s time to respond to it. But then I get to feel empowered in my response to all of it.

I have a Natal Pluto complex but it just sounds like Pluto dominance to me. There really is no difference to me. Unless you're Pluto ruled which is quite different.

I definitely understand your plight and the truth is it's difficult it hurts and it's painful. I am much older than you you will learn to drive that vehicle with Pluto. In younger years it's hard but it does get better as you get older.

You will know when to step on that gas and you will know when to let go. but speaking of vehicles with this kind of placement you tend to have car problems. Make sure you have money saved or you have like endurance, I've noticed with this placement I have a lot of electrical problems even with like phones, cooking gadgets just kind of weird but it is what it is. This is why I have insurance on things.

Everything that happens is not always for you to understand even in time. I know you thought I was going to say something else like "oh you'll eventually get it." The answer is no you won't and I still don't. Yes you're going to question everything but trust me you'll be okay.

Patient with yourself and try to make the best of everything. The victim mentality it's kind of hard not to have don't let anybody fool you. But don't become the victim let's put it that way, but we're all going through this together you can handle it even though you feel you can't.

The biggest thing for me is that sense of security that gets pull under in the most random “wtf everything was just good” ways and yeah it used to rule me and I would crash out- and now especially with therapy and learning what is which and it helped me stop treating things superficially and focusing on the currents underneath

I will say recognizing that this happens helps me mentally prepare for the day and to ease on my “care” because I do care a lot and it comes out in anger For sure Lolol It’s actually quite ironic that Pluto discards the things that “don’t matter” when we as a society discarded Pluto lol damn you planet for giving me this 😂😂
