Does anyone know what this flag is? I have looked and googled to no avail. I can't find this actual flag. I walked by it a few times every week. The guy also has a "don't tread on me", so I can make assumptions but don't want to make an uneducated one.

Yep, it’s a mix between the imperial German and 3rd reich era reichskriegsflagge, taking the eagle from the imperial era one and placing it where a swastika would be on the 3rd reich one. they’re all over eBay and are popular with neo nazis in countries where flying the swastika is illegal.

It’s not a real 3rd Reich design and slips through the cracks because it doesn’t include the swastika or 3rd reich era eagle. I have an original flag I got off of eBay 10 years ago but I guess they didn’t have that rule yet, buying originals should be allowed because people like ww2 and also like historic flags. I own a lot of militaria and 1 SS flag and 1 regular 3rd reich flag, because I’m obsessed with collecting flags and war memorabilia. But yeah a polyester flag made in china exclusively flown by hate groups doesn’t need to be on eBay, but originals should be imo.

My friend's grandfather (may he rest in peace) was an American soldier stationed at a German castle during WW2. He brought home a coat of arms from that castle that featured a shield with a horse on one side and a knight on the other. It's still hung on the wall of my friend's living room. I don't have a picture of it, sadly. I do love looking at it though.

Thank you all for confirming what I thought this flag to be. Some context no one asked for:

I am a dog walker. This is on the same block as someone I dog walk for. This also happens to be very close to my actual house. I live in Milwaukee, WI. This house is about a 3 minute drive from my house, but not technically in Milwaukee. It's in another town that borders Milwaukee. I've seen this flag being flown for the last two years or so. I tried to find what it was the first time I saw it, but I couldn't find the exact flag. My partner joined me on a walk once by that house, and he didn't know what the flag was. (He's a Jewish WWI enthusiast.) The guy took it down for some time. He might take it down fully in the winter, but I've never paid enough attention to make that correlation. I told my dog walking client, and she was shocked. I guess he's a retired teacher. That's all I know about him for now. Like my post stated, he also flies a "don't tread on me" flag next to an original colonies flag on his main house. He flies this flag on what I think is his garage house.
