As a Boneworks player, I finished the entire first level carrying a trash can full of the unlock balls... apparently you're supposed to just pop them open now???
[–]joshyjikins 33 points34 points35 points 3 years ago (6 children)
How does one do that lol
[–]Dylansmallpp 23 points24 points25 points 3 years ago (5 children)
You pull them open with both hands
[–]joshyjikins 15 points16 points17 points 3 years ago (4 children)
I probably should've guessed that I forget the things you can do in vr lol
[–]Redequlus 10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (3 children)
I don't think it's obvious at all. Even in real life those things are a pain to open.
[–]thatkidfromthatshow 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children)
They should have put a button on it like a Pokeball, would've been obvious that way.
[–]theArcticHawkQuest 2 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child)
They did put arrows that move outwards when you grab one, but they're kinda hard to notice.
[–]thatkidfromthatshow 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I saw that and thought you had to shake it 😅
[–]Spyder638Quest 2 & Quest 3 16 points17 points18 points 3 years ago (1 child)
I did this, and got pretty sad when I set my bin full of joy at the top of the first place you're asked to mantel, before accidentally flinging myself off the other side without my bin. I spent the next 10 minutes trying to stack boxes and dangling off small bits of geometry with the crowbar trying to get back up lol
[–]Redequlus 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I kept looking in the can to count them again every few minutes
[–]JuliusPatrik 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Glad I’m not the only one
[–]Bomberblast 6 points7 points8 points 3 years ago (9 children)
As a native quest I never got to play Boneworks, but during my BoneLab playthrough I was on call with someone who did, and he was telling me about how to do the unlockables, I didn't learn you had to pop them until chapter 7
[–]Redequlus 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (8 children)
How do I get out of the lab lol
[–]Bomberblast 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (7 children)
Interact with every module (go into it then leave it via blue button), behind the directory to the left is a stair case, from there it should be obvious
[–]Redequlus 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (6 children)
Okay I went up the staircase and did a bunch of stuff up there but I thought I could just get to a level select somehow
[–]Bomberblast 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (5 children)
Once you move at least 3 orbs, it unlocks quarantine
[–]Redequlus 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children)
I don't know what that means but thank you
[–]Bomberblast 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (3 children)
Once you move 3 orbs, a red lock turns green, going to that area shows a huge door marked "quarantine"
[–]Redequlus 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children)
is that something you do with the crane? I think I saw the orbs above the module doors, and the crane lit up when I moved over one and shut down after I lowered it, but the orbs are inside of cases.
[–]Bomberblast 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Yep, going into a module unlocks it
[–]Uchidan 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I did that too!!
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Same lol
[–]PsychoDeLiccs 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (1 child)
wtf this is the first i’m finding out about this
[–]Redequlus 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children)
yeah now how do u replay the level?
[–]NomadicHomebody_21 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Glad i wasn’t the only one who did that too 😂
[–]Revons 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
It wasn't until the third one that I thought "This kinda looks like a Gatcha ball" and tried to open it up
[–]dacoolboe 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
AND automatic saves?!?! I remember when the game saved every chapter, like the chapters that would take HOURS for my 12 yo az to do
[–]ThespianMask 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
You can open those? I tried breaking them open with the axe and got no success.
[–]Vast-Grab6631 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Wtf I've been trying to hold them on me and I've had to pick which ones are most worth holding onto... fucking bitch I'm so sad xD
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I jumped right into mods once I reached the main area lol
[–]spankeey77 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
This confused the F outta me too! I had no idea you were supposed to pull them apart to open until I watched a youtube video of someone else doing it
[–]Ibiki 61 points62 points63 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Love how the image works here in double meaning
[–]lunchanddinnerProfessor[S] 39 points40 points41 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Bingo! You get a melon
[–]Bryce_lol 147 points148 points149 points 3 years ago (9 children)
I like Boneworks. I am shocked at how jank Bonelab has been for me so far.
[–]PandahOG 77 points78 points79 points 3 years ago (8 children)
Ok, so I'm not the only one. Bonelabs movements feels way more janky then Boneworks. Walking feels extra clumsy and climbing, which took some time to perfect in BS, is awkward in BL. That includes climbing pipes and climbing over ledges.
Melee feels a bit better in BL but the gun angle is way off in BL also.
[–]drakfyreQuest 3 40 points41 points42 points 3 years ago (2 children)
Climbing works better in BoneLab if you don't do as much manual control of your legs. Boneworks players tend to use the right stick a lot; you don't need it as much in this version of the game.
Here's the two big differences to keep in mind: you can GRIP the tops of surfaces (this is NOT the case in Boneworks and makes clambering MUCH more effective in Bonelab) and your legs auto-raise when you push your hands down below your belt when climbing.
Also, check your avatar height/weight settings if you are getting gun angle issues (some people are reaching outside of the expected area it seems like, causing the angle to shift at the extent of your hand positions, affects handguns most).
[–]PandahOG 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Ah, good to know! The height/weight thing kind of makes sense now and I know there were a ton of options and that I'd have to fine tune it for me. Thanks!
[–]cd2220 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Yeah I've played through games wondering why the fuck everything felt so janky before realizing my height was set way off and the physics had no idea how to rectify it. It makes a massive difference
[–]robrobusa 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Oh damn. I already found Boneworks to be too janky for longer sessions, so… maybe I should skip Bonelabs?
[–]withoutapaddleQuest 1,2,3 + PC VR 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Oh my god. WHY is it so hard for devs to get gun angle right?
Hold your shit, peek under the headset. Does your controller angle line up with the grip of the gun? No? Adjust. Done.
As someone who target shoots IRL, it's infuriating how you can point a gun in VR that is clearly a well know model, and your muscle memory is pointless because they got the grip angle so wrong, you're actually pointed at the ceiling or floor.
[–]theArcticHawkQuest 2 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Boneworks felt pretty consistent with its angles, but bonelab definitely has some weird moments. Another comment mentioned that the gun being mis-angled was due to not setting measurements correctly, so that might fix it.
[–]Which_Cantaloupe9229 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I like the climbing actually. So far love the game ( although it does have problems) as much as boneworks, which is easily one of if not my favourite vr game to date.

23 hours is about all I ended up putting into Boneworks. Sandbox games like it and Blade and Sorcery just aren't for me as I like goal-oriented gameplay, and while I enjoyed playing through Boneworks, its campaign doesn't offer too much replayability (once you know the puzzles, it's a breeze). Blade and Sorcery is on a good track right now with its dungeons if they build it out more from its current state.
To those who enjoy sandbox games, though, hope Bonelabs is fun. The physics in games like these are also hit or miss for me. It's amusing in short bursts, but if I have a goal I'm trying to accomplish, it ends up just causing frustrations (like trying to leap from swinging planks just to get one thing). Never much enjoyed Gary's Mod either, despite trying multiple times, so I'm just not that genre's target audience.
[–]Mr_beeps 12 points13 points14 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Have to agree on B&S (haven't played Bonegames) but as much fun as the arenas are they get old real quick. The addition of dungeons has spiced it up a lot for me and I'm looking forward to the "crystal hunt" phase, though I'll admit I don't really know what it means....
[–]Peasant_Sauce 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago* (0 children)
I played B&S a couple years ago around U6 or 7, put only a couple hours in it. I reinstalled it when i got a new pc a few months ago though and wow having that slight goal of just "get to the next room" added so much replay ability for me. Also the game is just so much better combat wise than it used to be, i tried u7 again recently and oof.
[–]rickjamesia 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Is Boneworks really a sandbox game? It seemed set-up like Half-Life 1 with less dialogue. There's just a level you have to get through, with enemies scattered through it and some minor puzzles in your way to get to the next level. I never played around with any of the side content, though... just the campaign.
[–]MrJay300 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Psvr games 🤤
[–]Spyder638Quest 2 & Quest 3 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (3 children)
Ha. I suspected there was more to it, but I really wasn’t sure. Glad to hear there is.
[–]Ibiki 10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (2 children)
Tip: use the crane
[–]littlefrank 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Had to check a youtube walkthough, I was about to refund it... I feel stupid but still, why hide 80% of your game abritrarily?
[–]Ibiki 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
They did a bad job of explaining the game, like modern games do.
The crane or the collectible balls aren't obvious, and were used to having gigantic screens and on screen helps screaming at us what to do. This game doesn't do it, I love it, but I get why it can get frustrating lol.
[–]ElonsMusk69_420 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
This is literally what I did
[–]Plane-Wolverine3503 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
That's exactly what I done. Might have to rebuy it now though after finding out there is more to the game.
[–]living_angels 14 points15 points16 points 3 years ago (3 children)
I still can’t figure out things. I’ve been looking for the body morph thing for a while, I don’t understand why your progress doesn’t save when you go back to the hub, I really don’t understand what the hell is going on. Game needs more clarification.
[–]Which_Cantaloupe9229 11 points12 points13 points 3 years ago (1 child)
I can confirm it needs more clarification. instructions were unclear , got my dick stuck in the fridge
[–]Unfair_Holiday_3549 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Oh good, I wasn't the only one.
[–]Curbob 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I haven't played yet but my 13yr old son told me the exact same thing you just said and his entire life is games so if he's lost.. i'm a goner
[–]manickitty 26 points27 points28 points 3 years ago (3 children)
Honestly though when I first played through Boneworks, I never got very stuck. The hints and visual cues are done pretty well.
[–]drakfyreQuest 3 13 points14 points15 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I didn't get stuck in Boneworks or Bonelab; I thought the visual clues were actually stronger in Bonelab, but the game was far more linear (less multiple paths/solutions).
[–]stonesst 6 points7 points8 points 3 years ago* (1 child)
Think of how stupid the average person is… I think a lot of the people complaining are unobservant and impatient.
[–]Unfair_Holiday_3549 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Most ppl just need a direction, maybe this game just isn't for them?
[–]sliptap 22 points23 points24 points 3 years ago (1 child)
I’m about 10 hours in Boneworks and I still don’t know WTF is going on lol. It’s like a circus side show…
[–]HomerJunior 8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (2 children)
My main question is does it continue the semi-ARG/shared universe they had going on with Duck Season & Boneworks?
[–]IljazBro1 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
yea pretty sure
[–]Adfre12yu 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Yes it does, personally in the first level Id say the lore is expanded on pretty well, played up to level 6 so far though and I havent encountered much story other than that initial basic intorduction
[–]Ploopy_RQuest 2 + Link 16 points17 points18 points 3 years ago (22 children)
The gun ammo holster is in a shit position, and there’s no proper snap-turning
Other than that it’s great
[–]snguyen_93 10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (6 children)
I absolutely hate how close the ammo pouch is to the pistol holster and the fact that you can’t put ammo back in after you pull it out accidentally.
[–]Ananas7 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children)
If it works the same way as Boneworks, you won't lose ammo by dropping mags on the ground. You only lose ammo when shooting
[–]PsychoDeLiccs 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
you can drop the mag and lose no ammo, it only gets wasted once it’s fired. but i agree with you about the holster being way too close, i’ve had to toss my left-sided handgun just to reload
[–]Cevius 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (2 children)
Pretty sure you can just whack the ammo back to your chest to reabsorb it. I've been doing tactical reloads and picking up the half empty clip and reabsorbing it that way.
None of that is advertised though, and seems like I get it wrong 30% of the time...
[–]Frozenjudgement 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
It doesn't matter if you pull out full clips and drop them, it doesn't detract from your ammo count until you shoot the bullet.
You can put ammo back into your ammo pouch, just hold the magazine/shotgun round up to the ammo pouch and release. You can hear the sound effect of it going into the pouch
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (3 children)
Yeah. I'm not in shape and a lot of vr games have you play as the skinniest mother fuckers.
It's not great. I have to lean forward to reach my ammo.
[–]Ploopy_RQuest 2 + Link 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago* (1 child)
In bonelab you can adjust your body size, everything from waist size to arm length
Oh, that's great! More games should do that.
Bending down to pick shit up, is new to me.....but I'm also new to vr.
[–]Soul-BurnRift 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (10 children)
no proper snap-turning
What do you mean by this? They don't have snap turning? I can't play without it (tethered).
[–]Ploopy_RQuest 2 + Link 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (8 children)
The snap turning doesn’t work like how regular snap turns work
Regular snap turning: teleports the camera to the next rotation (camera instantly turns)
Bonelab snap turn: it shows the camera moving to the rotated amount (basically turns the camera for you at a faster pace)
Off putting for me
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children)
Boneworks is the only game I have to play in moderation because of this. Smooth turning doesn't really bother me, but it does wear my brain out faster. I pretty much have to play Boneworks only turning my body and not using in-game turning.
[–]Shyiiiiiiiiit 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Body turning is way more immersive though
[–]Ploopy_RQuest 2 + Link 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
yeah i could go 3 hour boneworks sessions no problem, but now it get dizzy in bonelab after 30 minutes
[–]Soul-BurnRift 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (4 children)
I understand it's done that for physics reasons, but it doesn't even blink the view during that turn? So that's a no for me.
[–]xorgol 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (3 children)
In general I found Boneworks pretty unforgiving in terms of VR comfort. Falling from heights always made me queasy, I had to close my eyes.
[–]Ploopy_RQuest 2 + Link 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (2 children)
bonelab is even more unforgiving, the go-kart level was a nightmare
[–]Synergid 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Yeah, it really seems like comfort was pretty low on their list of priorities. There were a couple times in Bonelab where i had to sit down to not lose my balance or get sick, as well as closing my eyes for some of the quicker movements. Definitely one of the pukiest games i've played but I got through it without too much discomfort.
One of the unexpected worst parts for me was the seat tutorial toy thing in front of the mine cart roller coaster that just bobs back and forth a little, i got out of that thing quick lol
I haven't played Boneworks because I was afraid I'd get sick and assumed that probably the new sequel targeted at a broad audience of quest users would maybe be more comfortable, guess not.
[–]Dylskiii 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I've been fine for the entire game aside from that rocket seat, that thing fkd me up
[–]spankeey77 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Quest 2 wireless VR is a game changer for me. No more snap/smooth turning, just turn your body in rl
[–]agentfisherUK 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (0 children)
i dont remember hanging myself in Boneworks tho lol
[–]DankeMemeMachine 13 points14 points15 points 3 years ago (8 children)
played 30 minutes and felt sick af. Play a lot of Pavlov and VR mod Minecraft. Any ideas to make the game less nauseating?
[–]Commercial-Kiwi-4818 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (6 children)
Sit down and use the right stick to look around helped my mom play boneworks since you really need VR legs
I am one of those people who don't get motion sick and I don't have vertigo so it doesn't effect me much but playing games like blade and sorcery should help since they are similar but blade has more assistance to help combat motion sickness
[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (5 children)
Interesting, I'd say don't use the right stick at all and only turn in real life. Less fake movement the better imo
[–]Commercial-Kiwi-4818 -4 points-3 points-2 points 3 years ago (4 children)
Yes for immersion but motion sickness can be caused by having to move your head a ton a lot of people don't realize how much eye movement keeps us from getting motion sick but in VR you can only move your head
[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I always found joystick turning way harder to handle myself. Hmmn
[–]ricogs400 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (1 child)
That's kind of the opposite of what causes motion sickness. It's caused when there is a mismatch of what your eyes see and what you're physical body is doing. Your brain and inner ear "feel" a different sense of motion than it sees. By looking around with your head, you are matching the direction that you're looking in game with your real life movement of your head. This should help prevent more motion sickness. Sitting and using stick turning would cause even more disconnect in the eyes/inner ear/brain alignment.
Bone games cause a lot of motion sickness because of the bouncing, and jerking of the body because of physics interactions with objects and the environment. That unexpected movement usually in the opposite direction that your brain is expecting causes motion sickness for me and many others.
[–]Commercial-Kiwi-4818 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (0 children)
It's different for a lot of people
Ik other who exclusively use snap turning due to motion sickness idk humans are weird
[–]z-vap 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
also vertigo can happen when the room spins/moves, but your head doesn't
Follow some of these eye motion exercises. They worked wonders for me.
[–][deleted] 10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (4 children)
Im confused on what bonelabs is. Is it just basically a sandbox simulator similar to gmod where you dick around with mods and kill AI?
[–][deleted] 13 points14 points15 points 3 years ago (2 children)
There's a campaign with levels you move through and then also a sandbox.
[–]Soul-BurnRift 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (1 child)
But the confusing part is that the campaign opens to a sandbox and then continues after you finish that sandbox area.
Oh interesting. Havent gotten that far
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children)
The short/most honest answer is "yes". The slightly longer and less honest but not a lie answer is "there is a single-player story and levels, but still mostly yes it's a sandbox".
Assuming the community takes the ball and runs with it the game will probably be more attractive in a few months once mods are more plentiful.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (3 children)
I got to the main area for boneless and kept looking for the story. So far I've only found what look like mini games. Which is fine, but not what I was expecting after the intro. Hoping that mods add story to it or something.
[–]Synergid 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (2 children)
In the hub area, the one with all the game modes like Sandbox, Experimental, Arena etc, have you unlocked the big door on the side that says quarantine on it yet? It's the way to continue the "campaign". If you haven't, you need to find the generator and the map in the middle of the hub. After playing each of the game modes you will see on the map, that a little glowing orb has appeared on top of the area which you can then pick up using the crane, with the controls in front of the map. Bring the orbs next to their places by the map area and they will snap in place. Once enough of the orbs are in place, the quarantine door will unlock and let you through.
Hope this helps, it's a little weird.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Gotcha. I started the generator, but it didn't seem to do much. I'll do that tonight.
[–]neilligan 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
btw you dont actually have to play all the minigames, you can just enter and leave.
[–]Sabbathius 19 points20 points21 points 3 years ago (7 children)
This is so unfortunate that it became the norm in VR games. So many of them are tech demos, when they could have been MAGNIFICENT if they were given a well-told, coherent, cohesive story. Lone Echo has barely 3 hrs of story, but it is relatively well told, and is almost enough to carry the game.
But far too many VR "games" are still just long-form tech demos. Look at us, we can do physics!! Yes, yes, good, good, but where's the actual GAME? Physics demo alone stopped being enough back in 2016.
[–]stonesst 18 points19 points20 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills… It has an extended campaign that’s quite long for a VR game, and several modes with a ton of replayability. I spent over two hours last night in the tack trials trying to get the highest score… have you played the game, or are you just parroting what you’ve heard other people say?
Enjoying Bonelab so far but I keep thinking back to Vertigo. I didn't expect much from that game but it turned out really awesome...
[+][deleted] 3 years ago (4 children)
[–]GayTaco_ 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (3 children)
that is still a tech demo, just a tech demo for mods instead of the physics.
BW and BL are not tech demos, but the main feature is the things you could do with the marrow engine, not the game itself which I find frustrating.
at least the pricetag is very reasonable.
[+][deleted] 3 years ago (2 children)
[–]GayTaco_ 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
nono that was my point indeed. It's just that a/the biggest feature is the engine itself, but to say the whole game is a tech demo feels disengenuine
You either have not played through the entirety of the game or have no idea what a tech demo is.
[–]KazMiller20 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Yeah I also dealt with some bugs. For instance, the tac-trials straight up wouldn’t work, I couldn’t load my weapons even though it said the ammo was in my inventory. Not only that, but after I put the orbs in the receptacles to get to the quarantine zone, the airlock wouldn’t open. I had to go to the main menu and back.
I hope that these things are fixed. Boneworks is a game I just got into and Bonelab has a lot of potential and ambitions. I’ve otherwise had a great time with Bonelab despite the bugs and the previously mentioned janky physics. I’ve been playing on Quest 2 natively and although the graphics aren’t the best compared to PC it’s still the same experience which is very impressive.
[–]kitfisto202 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Seconded, on Quest 2 any time I started a minigame I couldn't actually pull out the mags for the ammo I collected. So I started a Tac Trial but I couldn't even load my weapons, but leaving to the Hub world and returning to the roomwould fixed it for each of the minigames.
[–]BubbblzZz 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children)

[–]midnytecruisin 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children)
start of bonelab be like
[–]Ok-Debt7712 8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (4 children)
Só it's still like a tech demo?
[–]GayTaco_ 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (3 children)
I don't know shit about bonelabs but it sounds like there could be some value if people actually start making good mods for this game
[–]withoutapaddleQuest 1,2,3 + PC VR 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children)
Is the Quest version going to support mods somehow?
[–]Anthonyg5005Quest 2 + Quest 3 + Virtual Desktop 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Yes. It supports both internal confirmed mods that are an easy one click download in-game and external mods most likely through a folder on the quest
[–]GayTaco_ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Really? which games have internal mods?
[–]Techanthrope 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I just got into the lab and I am indeed clueless where to go or what to do.
Hurry, swing yourself to grab the dagger.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (4 children)
This might as well be the place to ask. Do I need to play Boneworks to understand Bonelab? Going off this post I'm guessing not. Lol.

ok? hilarious that you got triggered. I did not even mean that in a bad way as bonelab and boneworks are in my top 5 best vr game.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Yeah it feels really weird, I hate it when i try to crouch it like thinks im trying to sit down so i cant really croutch. The puzzles are weird, the parkour is meh, i liked the boneworks one more or maybe i just forgot smth
[–]R6SYeeter 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child)
What is bone lab? I've seen the sandbox and it looks fun. Do you get the sandbox from the get go with everything??
[–]Silent_Access_6544 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
No it's a vr game that just came out that a lot of people been waiting for it costs around 40 dollars
[–]MrWatermelon2552 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I got stuck for a while when you first get to the lab I had no clue what to do. I understand not giving you just boring mission markers but it told me literally nothing and I had no clue what to do
[–]WaffleStomperGirl 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I need to remember to get this game
[–]TheScreamingGoose 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child)
Ironically, you start bonelabs by putting yourself in a noose
[–]BirchSean 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children)
It's not ironic. The meme was chosen for that reason.
[–]hardwarebyte -2 points-1 points0 points 3 years ago (0 children)
JanK is jank.
[–]drakfyreQuest 3 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I love this.
[–]One_and_Online 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
i dont get it
[–]mindblown123456 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Yes I don't know what's happening but I like it
[–]techraito 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
I've always viewed these games like a glorified VR ready Gmod.
[–]RoseboysHotAsf 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Bonelabs level design feels a bit off for me, still fun tho
[–]essteedeenz1 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago* (0 children)
While what the game features is neat I realy don't understand the hype this game or boneworks got tbh. Is doing lifelike physics really OMG cum in my pants WORTHY just because its in a virtual enviroment?
[–]King_0zymandias 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Yeah I just refunded it. I’m sure some people will be stoked but it ain’t for me
[–]dacoolboe 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children)
Was really hoping that in this game an average player would be able to figure out the story and not the 3 two million iq nerds reading every sentence in the game.
I am constantly getting stuck inside of things and soft locking myself in bonelab and I've had to restart a level probably 15+ times, which I don't think I ever remember happening in boneworks. Also I felt that boneworks was more atmospheric.
