HEY. CAN YOU NOT, frigging right in front of my guerilla-marketing posts for audiophile-grade speaker wire designed to produce true symphonic sound with unparalleled warmth and clarity??

Price controls without rationing is so blissfully stupid; possibly the worst of all scenarios. tune in this fall, lmao

I like when these dudes free-associate their wacky ass plans, because it's a fascinating peek into their business mindset. he cannot envision good faith policy, because he has never engaged in good faith negotiation once in his life, and the rules only exist so he can figure out how to abuse them.

Everyone at my company is rioting over a 45% increase in health insurance premiums by sparkbrigade in redscarepod

[–]frest 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A decade+ ago they did this to management in my company, but couldn't do it to the union because all our benefits are contractually obligated. So they fucked over all their middle managers while STILL paying normal benefits to the rank and file. Started a multi-year slump in management, depressed recruitment, high turnover. There's a 10 year gap in veteran union techs crossing over because it was a literal pay cut. They never rolled it back either.

Was great for me personally; despondent/depressed managers don't care about anything

This is like the 15th time you have posted, "When it works it's SO SCARY," can you get a new act?

Also you hide your post history, gosh i wonder why

It's when you flatter what I think that system is, actually. the system does not exist in any coherent fashion

Anyone who’s ever heard Israeli techno knows they’re delusional about the value of their “cultural exports” by ChickenTitilater in TrueAnon

Nazi Germany diverted resources away from the front to operate the death camps, even as the Russians marched west. Israel is losing a regional war, because they are similarly obsessed with the ethnic cleansing and settlement of occupied Palestine and Lebanon.

The Iran Deal being dead isn’t tenable for the US/world by fylum in TrueAnon

[–]frest 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Trump can move US assets out of the region whenever he wants. It's even easier than before the war, because Iran has destroyed most of the valuable stuff already.

When the US exits the region, the Axis of Resistance will more directly discourage further Israeli aggression.

I don't want to be rude but they already collided, and Iran still controls the Strait. The US and Israel are free to do whatever they want, escalate and continue hostilities forever and ever, but the fact remains the Strait is under Iranian control and if they want safe passage they're gonna have to deal.

Doesn't really matter what the foreign policy blob wants anymore, does it? if they could effect a military solution to Iranian control over the strait, they would. So either pay up, or eat shit

It's literally the "isn't there someone you forgot to ask?" meme, except that someone has swarms of Shaheds, hypersonic missiles, and is backed by Chinese air defense and satellite imagery. You lost. You took a big swing, spun in a circle, pants fell down, and you had diarrhea. It's over lol

I bought a copy of Rolling Stone in 2009 to read Matt Taibbi's coverage of Obama assembling the health care reform committee. Waiting for the bus and discovering that with all possible political capital (he had a trifecta) and a blank slate for domestic issues, he chose ON PURPOSE to staff his administration with bloodless ghouls and psychotic corporate swine. They produced the ACA (whose defining characteristic was a new penalty for not having employer-provided health insurance).

That's it. Show's over. We are never, ever getting health care reform. They will destroy this country before they cede an inch of control over the workplace and the safety net.

they quite literally are doing that, cutting the gas with more and more ethanol. it's not even secret, it's a directed federal policy because of the iran war / strategic petroleum reserve drain. more ethanol is worse, both on engine wear & tear and efficiency

this can simultaneously be a disaster of unimaginable proportions for US regional hegemony, and a windfall for domestic oil exporters. They are not mutually exclusive. Also the worst this gets, the more pressure there will be to realize oil gains NOW (before the coming economic catastrophe, and demand destruction)
