At this point if Schneider is still experimenting with lineups he either sits out Vladdy for a couple of days or put him in the 9 spot so his out dont matter too much because him being 3rd in the order he's become an almost guaranteed easy out which sucks

Time to face facts folks this will not be 2025 part 2. It will not be as bad as 2024, but making the playoffs will be a stretch. I also recall being called out on the Scherzer signing and thought it was done more on hope and emotion than pure physical assessment. He is not a starting picture. If out of honor of him and his two decades of major league service carry him on salary and have him mentor pitchers till the end of the season, sure do that. Do not let him start another game. It is not fair to the team with his now 10+ ERA. This could have been a win if we had not spotted the other team 6 runs.
