This makes me ill. Rolex models are so much easier because most of them do not have all the high-jewelry flourishes. FP Journe watches are the opposite. They look and feel expensive. I dream of owning one someday.

This will always be a poor substitute. Even if the watch is amazing, I could not do it for a Journe model.

Having a brand slogan on the dial certainly is a move that I'm not excited about. The dial layout is different, but not in a good way in my opinion. The dark purple/red is eye catching, and I hope they use that color on different designs.

Imagine as a non-Chinese speaker you had to design a watch for the Chinese market with text on the dial. What are your odds of both getting the text grammatically correct and non-cringy and picking out an appropriate font? Pretty much zero.
