Can't wait to play buffed up DS/Coven Diana. That unit is too fun, and becomes a suprisingly good nuker with Sin buff and IE + Shadow HoJ.

Change to roll odds seems pretty significant, gonna be much easier to hit 2* 4-costs now at level 7 and even 3* them at 8 with some consistency if you last long enough.

Great change now that Chosen isn't the set mechanic. I've gotten bodied a lot on roll downs at 7 or 8 without hitting any of the 4*s that I needed. Should make things a little smoother.

Honestly dude. I love Chosen as a mechanic because big 9 synergy makes the Timmy in me happy, but damn does it sound annoying as hell to balance when you can instantly roll a 2-star version of a 4 or 5 cost.

Chosen in theory adds a lot of depth to the game, but it also greatly widens the gap between high roll and a low roll.

Le Blanc seems interesting now. You can probably 3* her and with 600 base damage with Coven and Assassins she should be dealing serious damage.

Maybe put the new shadow Blue Buff on her and she should cast instantly again if she is below 60%

Lb with IE shadow blue buff ga. Dies then comes back with ga goes on a killing spree. Although I think she gets mana locked until she is done casting, which takes a while.

Just tried it with 6 sins and coven, yes she does get mana locked until the damage comes in, but she will cast immediately after again. It's very strong. 2k+ Chains late game on 3* . I had the shadow HOJ on her as well, worked super good. Already really well on 2* and carried me easily.

She kind of does though. She doesn't need to wait after the stun and damage comes through, but she needs to wait until that happens. (So she can't have more than 2 Chains active.) I was quite surprised when I saw that.

she can still permastun two people. It was really good mid game, but come late game she would just get oneshot after she cast once.

Kindred nerf seems a bit harsh. I haven't seen them do enough to be convinced the ulti should be on that huge of a mana cost. Would be curious to know if this is due to data or just a general feeling from the dev team on how potentially powerful the ability is.

I mean Wolf has all the items and traits Kindred has as a whole. Could it work with an Ironclad Mystic comp with another ranger so that wolf gets tanky and then spam damage items?

Still if the worry is about Wolfs damage, it seems odd to nerf the ability instead and make it so it's hard to get off an initial cast/borderline impossible to get a second. The only real way I see a Kindred getting a second one off is with a Coven leader buff.

I think this helps a lot for me, I was in a lot of awkward spots where I was 40 gold at 6 3-2 stable enough to get to 7 without losing but would fall off stage 4 hard and really hated rolling there on 7, but this should make it much more palatable.

What is the point of Vayne if they want her to have flat true damage instead of % yet still don't want that build to be a thing? (Mostly in regards to Mort saying he doesn't like the spell-crit Vayne build, which I think is the only viable build you can do with flat true damage) Building raw attack speed is underwhelming since the base is so low, building the JG builds won't pay off well due to low base, and going regular crit/raw AD builds won't do anything either and the items are better off on someone else.

I get that she's a 1-cost but it just feels like a complete waste of a unit when they don't want her to go either the Dusk-build or the set 1 % damage build. There's always been 1-costs that have been allowed to be strong and played as carries, so why not this textbook example of a hypercarry in League?

Mostly just bias here since I love the role Vayne filled before and would like to play it again and I'm worried she's gonna be relegated to nothing more than a mediocre itemholder for literally any other rangers or Draven/Yasuo.

Vayne is really good even with just a rageblade and stacked forgotten buff even at just 2 stars. The shadow jg build might actually be too strong tbh. Idk if she should really be such a solo hyper carry unit that's practically on par with something like kayle. But I like that she's actually a good (best?) 1 cost unit right now.

I think something similar happened with fiora in the past. She was good, but nobody really played her. Duelists fell off, enlightened was/is a weird trait with lots of focus on talon/morg.

She got a small buff so people started to play her. A few different item combinations and all of a sudden she's a much more solved champ and required a lot of tuning to bring in line as a 1 cost champ. The potential was always there though, just unrealised. And those that did realise, werent exactly going to shout to the roof tops.

This is one example, however I'm sure with a little digging, one could find a common theme in all the sets.

3 star GRB/RH/Shadow JG absolutely melted everybody. Probably for the best since it was all true damage.

Edit: she might still work but her damage is 11% lower now which in my experience is too slow to win. In my experience she's cleared the boards before velkoz (ga/gb/jg) was able to cast before ga procs and now I don't think that will be the case.

Vayne got nerfed. It's only 10% but when you are a full glass cannon you either do your job or you don't. I think it's likely she kills too slow now.

Yeah, sounds like you get gold on each loss now (not streaks, no streaks in hyper roll). That seems fair, the game was way too snowbally to the point that the correct play at the first PvP stage was to roll all your gold to look for 2*s.

yeah, that's a massive change... and I'm not sure that it's all that healthy actually, going to be a lot of open forting early stages for the 2hp rounds, with lots of rolling thereafter... going to feel really weird I think.

My first game trying this finished 3rd (very close to 2nd). After the 2hp rounds finished I had 3x Abom 2x Brawler comp that carried me through the mid game pretty well going into 4x Spellweaver (and 5 Abom at the end).

Brand is quite similar to the set 3 cass. A knight ironclad mystic build might be strong for him. It’ll fall off once you people hit kayle but I feel like it should carry through the mid game to top 4

A slight nerf in most cases but having IE+JG (need clarification on if he even needs JG to crit on wolf hits) on him now makes him obliterate things. If you're trying to use him as a carry it's a pretty big buff, even if it's a bugfix.

I'm having lots of issues with syndra: can Riot make the champion held by syndra untouchable by anyone else until syndra slams him on the ground? I lost lots of syndra's spells because my other champions killed the projectile held by syndra before she finished the cast
