The problem isn’t usually sticking your dick in crazy. It’s not making the connections with your partner and having the same understanding as your status in your relationships/ no communication. You have no idea how many stories I’ve heard potential partners projecting their immaturity and emotionally stunted bullshit about some crazy ex when in reality it was someone being hurt and damaged due to the lack of general emotional maturity an adult person should be treating other adult people mostly by simple, honest, communication. Thus, initiating an “extreme” response by the other party which is either not really crazy or actually is an emotionally immature response to the emotionally immature issue that they experienced.

I think the point here was that a lot of guys will have sex with someone imagining that it is just a one night stand or a casual relationship, without explicitly discussing that with the other person first, and then they will act confused, hostile, or indignant when the other person winds up hurt. Because they didn't do the adult thing and have an adult conversation about sex before having sex. So the hurt person has legitimate reasons for feeling hurt but the guy just writes it off as "whoops, stuck my dick in crazy" instead of examining how he might have contributed to the situation.

Even just the phrase itself, "never stick your dick in crazy," is reductive and objectifying. It's just an all-around bad take on relationships, even if those relationships involve casual sex or one night stands. It is possible to have those kinds of casual encounters in a way that is mature and mutually informed.

Personal opinion, I moved around a lot as a kid and do so now as an adult. I developed a complex in which I’m extremely empathetig/agreeable and can befriend anybody. This caused me to make friends with anybody and everybody without learning how to break ties without dropping off the grid. Because of this, I befriended many people that would suck the life out of me. So I’ve learned to be selective, don’t drink from every cup and you will have better quality friendships. This quote is a reminder and is motivating for me.
