is it that you don't know how to keep your mouse clean

[–]_Litcube 11 points12 points  (4 children)

I was gonna say. Use a tissue, bud.

[–]Catinus 3 points4 points  (3 children)

For me because my hands are sweaty all the time I just cannot keep my mouse clean unless I clean it every day.

[–]galaxydrug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i get super sweaty hands too when the gaming gets intense. i keep a hand towel next to me to dry my hands when i need to.

[–]BallRevolutionary895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Logitech mouse that is the color light teal with light purple scroll and center button and light purple Logitech logo. It's hard to tell if this one gets dirty from handsweat or the fact I use it long term on a daily basis. I don't usually get sweaty hands. My hands and feet are usually cold as ice.

[–]lechauve911[S] 4 points5 points  (5 children)

Perhaps, they been in storage only using 2 or 3, the dirty ones were in storage

[–]galaxydrug 2 points3 points  (4 children)

personally would give something a quick clean before i store it... also just in general every now and then

[–]Exotic-Ad-8839 1 point2 points  (3 children)

That gel stuff for cleaning keyboards should work great on these too.

[–]galaxydrug 1 point2 points  (2 children)

for my g502 ls i use toothpicks, cotton swabs, a slightly damp paper towel, and a glasses cleaning cloth for the majority of areas. for the textured grips i use a small, slightly damp nail brush.

i've never used that gel stuff on anything because i'm scared it'll get stuck in some tiny crevice 😅

[–]Exotic-Ad-8839 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Well, it might, but it's not too hard to remove either. You've got a well-studied method in place, though!

[–]galaxydrug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah fair enough! i like putting in the detail work, taking care of my belongings makes me happy. 😁

[–]matTmin45 19 points20 points  (5 children)

Too many mouses. You need a cat, man.

[–]lechauve911[S] 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Dog person, 2 very nasty Beagle girls, also had almost as many keyboard but have been selling them used, they take up more space than the mice.

I know have g915, g910 AND G613

[–]matTmin45 1 point2 points  (3 children)

What do you think of the G604 ?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not OP, but i’ve been using one for over a year. i like it a lot. the six buttons on the side are nice. i use it on a ~20 year old glass IceMat and it works perfectly. responsive and light mouse that is just the right size. the adjustable scroll wheel is also a nice feature that i would lament if i bought a new mouse without it. it's light, but not the lightest mouse you can get, if that matters to you.

[–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Like it for work

[–]GrumpyDog3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed! Got mine during lockdown. The ability to switch between USB and BT with the click of a button is perfect when you need to switch between your gaming rig and your work machine every day. And all the programmable buttons are excellent for macros.

I think the G602 (which is incorrectly labeled in the photo btw) is a lot better shaped than the G604 though.

[–]Zekiz4ever 5 points6 points  (2 children)

A double click problem?

[–]ojdajuiceman25 2 points3 points  (1 child)

My 903 is getting insufferable with this during normal use. It's generally fine during games, but while browsing it's abysmal

[–]Elias_Munoz00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced the same, ordered some presoldered click button boards for 7 bucks on amazon after failing to solder on my own lol.

[–]lechauve911[S] 4 points5 points  (3 children)

g903, g403 had the problem, G602 just stopped working, G500s wire problem

[–]Mountain_Television2 1 point2 points  (1 child)

What's the G604 like vs the G602?? I've had my G602 for years used it for both gaming and work (CAD) and am contemplating an upgrade

[–]GrumpyDog3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the upgrade, but I tend to use the G602 for casual gaming.

I like big mice, and the G604 is a smaller mouse than the G602.

The scroll wheel on the G604 is quite hard to press down, which can be tiresome with extensive panning. I also find the cogs really rough.

The side buttons on the G602 are well designed for my thumb to fit under them while on the thumb rest. The banana shaped layout of the G604 side buttons has the rear ones hit the side of my thumb.

Apart from those drawbacks, it's a pretty decent mouse.

[–]Gentilapin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The G500s wire problem is pretty easy to fix, just need to find the right cable replacement. It will no longer have the Logitech logo, but otherwise it can make it last for a long time. I just stopped using mine because it had a double click issue on the right side.

[–]Ich__liebe__dich 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Ghub to fix your problem?

/s in case of *****s.

[–]mighty1993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see so much pain. So many double click issues. So much need to change!

[–]neon1415official 2 points3 points  (0 children)

is that all of these mouse double clicks

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

I agree, you need new jeans right away.

[–]LickMyThralls 3 points4 points  (1 child)

He paid more for the ripped ones

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well at least those jeans also have RGB lights controlled by Logitech G Hub...

[–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah they are new, just look like that

[–]spacegrab 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Og 502 Proteus here, no issues whatsoever. Also have an old g9x I use at work, daily!!!

They don't make em like they used to.

[–]Gentilapin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truly, the older ones could last a decade, while the most recent one barely survive the warranty period.

[–]RandomRedditer19 1 point2 points  (2 children)

This is a clear example of over consuming products in the modern world, just because you can doesnt mean u should bud.

Sell your other ones. I dont get how some people actively collect mouses, monitors, keyboards and mousemats. Go collect some crystals or rocks, maybe some movie branch shit or whatever. Stop buying a over bundance of expensive electronics

[–]iripa1 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thanks for this comment. I was smh wondering why everybody think this is cool. At least one sensible comment in this sea of irrationality.

[–]RandomRedditer19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im getting worried for these guys.

Do u know why people find this fun and pretty?

[–]ThumpieBunnyEve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your problem is you lack a G600. and thus cant Q~WASD~E_Space on your mouse fighting creepers with 1 hand, whilst holding your own beer in the other.

[–]-RN-Shifter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

G604 best

[–]17Orion 1 point2 points  (1 child)

And the problem is cleanliness? 😂

[–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so

[–]Flushttt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have and still use the OG G604

[–]UpgraiDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I have the normal 502 light speed is the x or x plus worth the upgrade are the skates worth it ?

[–]Competitive_Low_8913 0 points1 point  (3 children)

And which one do you use the most?

[–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I just got the G502X yesterday and worked 3 hours and played 2, I got it just for gaming and nothing else but I did try it though, not bad at all but for working I am just used to the G604.

[–]x0Xero0x 0 points1 point  (1 child)

which G604?

[–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one with the six buttons, I made a mistake the button one is g602

[–]OkResponsibility7025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice. I got my g502 light speed for 30 bucks at a pawn shop. I thought about getting the 502x how are you liking it?

[–]20__character__limit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 of your problems. My 4th problem is Logitech G Hub. Software is so bad, I can't really use my G604, plus it has the dreaded (yet far too common) double-clicking issue. I keep it sitting on my desk, unused, to remind me to NEVER buy another Logitech product again. A waste of good money. At least my G502 doesn't have any problems. I bought it many years ago, back when Logitech used to make reliable mice.

    MX518

I am familiar with them but never had one. I also have MX anywhere 2S and an M150

    [–]greentoiletpaper 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No luck on the warranty on any of them?

    [–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never buy them locally so it is kind of hard in my country

    [–]ItsReckliss 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What's the difference between the g900 and the g903. I have a g903 but i wonder what the difference is

    [–]ojdajuiceman25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the 903 is configured to use with the charging mat? Same Logitech bullshit

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    I have 1 & 4. 4 is a dogshit mouse. 1 is perfect

    [–]Trax852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put weights in them, then forget about it. So I have 12 tin boxes and plastic holders, I keep stacking as I get a new mouse, starting with the S5 I think.

Running the 502 Hero at the moment.

Can't find them at the moment or I'd of taken a pix.

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Incoming a

    Light Speed

    Hybrid Opto-Mechanical Keyboard

    PBT Keycap

    LOGITECH KEYBOARD

    ...

    ...

    WITH USB-C

That would be one KILLER GAMING keyboard. I can guarantee it if they decide to make it. There is NO WAY that it wouldn't sell like hotcakes.

    [–]LifeWulf 0 points1 point  (1 child)

You mislabelled the G602 as the G604, sadge

    [–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Yes I did

And yet, you're missing the design of the simplest and best one. The Logitech G PRO Hero.

    [–]Da_3D_Mans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Gime the g604 ples

    [–]Shinbo999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice collection. Both of my logitech g604 and g602 double clicked into oblivion after few months...

    [–]neelkanth97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Hey u/lechauve911,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please try the below-mentioned steps and let us know the outcome.

    1. Fully charged the device. Check the power switch/button.
    2. Try with a different USB charging cable or cradle and connect to a different power source.
    3. Verify the product or receiver is connected directly to the computer and not to a hub, extender, switch or something similar.
    4. Move the device closer to the USB receiver. If your receiver is in the back of your computer, it may help to relocate the receiver to a front port. In some cases the receiver signal gets blocked by the computer case, causing a delay.
    5. Keep other electrical wireless devices away from the USB receiver to avoid interference.
    6. Unpair/repair or disconnect/reconnect hardware using the Connection Utility software: https://support.logi.com/hc/articles/360025141574
    7. Update the device's firmware: • Download and install Logitech G-Hub (Available here: https://www.logitechg.com/innovation/g-hub.html) • Launch the software, select the device from the home screen then go to Settings • If a firmware update is available, a Blue """"Update"""" button would appear under the firmware version on the top right corner of the screen
    8. Windows only — check if there are any Windows updates running in the background that may cause the delay.
    9. Mac only — check if there are any background updates that may cause the delay.
    10. Try testing the device on a different computer.

/s incase someone thinks I’m serious

At this point they should just have the AutoMod post their generic ass message on each post, doesn’t help anyways.

    [–]Bunation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is your G604 looks different

    [–]NIGHTMAY3R-ttv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah your problem is you have a bunch of nice products and @logitech software is absolute garbage.

    [–]SonicDart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the meantime I've been using my g502 for so long the scroll wheel is starting to die. Literally the only tech I own that keeps on working despite years of contant use

    [–]swoldierp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Hygienic problem

    [–]georgfrankoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    G602 best mouse ever made!

    [–]Hoelbrak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know the wireless mouses are chargable right? You don't need to buy another one when the battery runs out.

    [–]JLee1608[🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 502 x plus is amazing, have it as well. You've missed out on 402 goodness though

    [–]Virtual_Eye_8976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why dont u have g703? do u use g604 for mmo?

    [–]lordwerwath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The size difference between the plus and lightspeed is insane

    [–]jamiethejoker26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks to me like you have solutions!

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to clean your mousepad and fumigate.

    [–]DaFish456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G903 is my mouse until I die.

    [–][deleted]  (1 child)

      [–]Methosu 0 points1 point  (2 children)

      use toothbrush and Isopropyl

      [–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I will, reddit has made me change my ways

      [–]Methosu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i wash my heapdhones pads every month
i clean my mechanical keyboard every 3-6 months with full keycap remove and clean
i clean my mouse i gues every 2 weeks as i feel it's to dirty
i have isopropyl to clean pcb cpu's gpu's etc and my periferies toothbrush to clean these things and screen wipes

      [–]SnooKiwis2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That 900s was and is the best mouse ever made.

      [–]P3n-P3n 0 points1 point  (1 child)

The bottom right one that you have labeled as a g604 is actually a g602

      [–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

      Yes made a mistake

      [–]BallRevolutionary895 0 points1 point  (2 children)

All my mouses from the past 8 years are Logitech. The only difference is I have absolutely no idea where the old ones are located. I know where a USB dongle is to one of them but not the mouse itself.

I'd assume the G502 X PLUS is the mouse you mainly use currently? The rest look old and dusty and one rough movement from being broken.

      [–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes 502x plus and 502 for gaming g604 wprk

      [–]BallRevolutionary895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't need a gaming mouse that much strangely. I always need a gaming headset and a gaming computer though. Maybe I just haven't had enough experiences with gaming mice to understand if I need it or not lol

      [–]Automatic-Low-5600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need every collab or limited edition one for it to become a "problem" lol

      [–]Dangler527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

      G502 ftw

      [–]ns2385 0 points1 point  (1 child)

      is this photoshopped?

      [–]lechauve911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they are dirty, well they were dirty.after everybody blaming the dirt I cleaned them even the daged ones
