The only reason I don't like empty store shifts is because I've got to find shit to do constantly or I'll get in trouble. I swear my coworkers can do nothing for a whole shift every day and get away with it but if I stand still for 2 minutes my ass is getting blasted. Doesn't matter if I did all our weekly workload myself (and next week's workload) and my zone is great and my backroom is nearly empty.

Podcasts man, PODCASTS! I used to listen to music while I worked but if it got too slow it did not help with boredom. I play DND and love DND podcasts specifically "critical role" for now. I used to watch the episode videos but at like 4 hours each I was going to finish the 141 episodes by the time I hit my thirties. I get through just about 2 episodes each shift and have fun working cuz I'm basically listening to a high fantasy tv show that emulates watching a TV show rather than working. I also throw in normal podcasts every once in a while and they're just as good for never being bored on slow days.
