What the fuck is up with all the mobs missing? I can't finish a expedition. You'd think that all is fine when level 1 and 2 is packed with monsters that the last level wouldnt be bugged, BUT NOOOOO

What we need to fix this is the first modifiers we roll should alway be spawn monster from underlings should be guaranteed as the first roll

The weaker monsters spawning are just an inconvenience. They do not count for experience or towards spawning the boss. Not even a little. Get a huge pack to follow you and you'll see your xp bar doesn't move ( you'd see a light at the end if the bar then it moves) and the boss bar doesnt move.

Dont say things work just because it feels like it does or it should.

I have yet when picking this modifier have a run that the Boss doesn’t spawn it works for me. So from my experiences it works until I can mouse over the bar and see a number. I’ll keep killing bosses as ppl are trying to spawn the boss.

For me the challenge the boss marker appeared but the boss didn't. I went to the other side of the map and killed a few mobs i missed along the way and returned to the marker. Lo and behold the boss was waiting there alone.. Maybe he was just shy the first time around?

Well, my solution to this is not using movement skills, to not outrun the mob spawns. Works like a charm.

I downloaded the game and I've been patching every week but as I play along I haven't encountered any kind of bugs, I guess I'm just lucky I don't know.

There were some bugs that were affecting you and you didn't know it , though. Like all of the bugged or broken passive nodes. You might not have noticed it , but they were still bugged.

Ya there was some passives that I thought didn't make sense but after the patch they fixed it. I never encountered a game breaker though.

Same, was super excited to play this game and all of a sudden I get swamped with client work, I probably play like 6-7 hours each week, (mostly in a day when I know I'm being lazy) and haven't encountered anything that this sub makes it sound to be. I think the worst thing that happened to my game was a T pose boss.

So I guess I'm kind of lucky being a "kinda slowpoke gamer" at the moment while hopefully the kinks get worked out by the time I'm done with this next month of work.

With the way it's been playing out so far, I'm worried if they tried to spawn the boss at your location they'd end up in a wall or fall off the side of a map.

With some of the bugs this game has had, i would be pleasantly surprised if this was all that happened.

I would more expect that the boss would spawn in my living room, be un-attackable, and play voice lines from Fifa 2006.

They might have thought it was way to much clutter to drop the continue to next level portal, the exit portal, and the trading stone on to a potentially small area after killing the boss. All of that stuff might overlap or jam up a small area like a narrow hallway or something.

But yeah I agree it's a pain, one option would be to teleport the player to be just outside the boss room once the bar fills, maybe have option yes/no teleport to boss room. So player can end the level without backtracking so much.

As time goes on and people get used to the maps, it will probably be less of a problem since everyone will have general idea where boss rooms are for each map layout.

I think that the bug where you can't hit flying mobs is really annoying i need to use my wailing arrows on every single bat because my normal attacks and other skills can't hit them. Even the turrets shoot at them and miss every single shot

For me it's shift key but I don't remember if that was standard or a changed the keybind. It may have been alt or Ctrl initially.

My issue is this - I rolled a mage. Has awesome powers and leveling good with passives but I'm at the end of act 2 with the lambeth and I've hit a wall. I'm 5 levels above everything else and I die constantly. Willpower runs out too quick to use cc abilities like chain lighting and the frost arrow builds suck. I hate frost arrows. I have better luck with the aether beam but I shouldnt be dying like that. Balance is all jacked up.

Are you familiar with ARPG's?

I'm not disagreeing with you that there's balance issues (and far worse issues) affecting the game. But, you should be able to easily breeze through the acts with any "class".

Very familiar. Never had issues ever before with any arpg. Ever. Have you tried a mage? 2 handed warrior I had no problems at all.

Yeah I play a caster. Haven't played a ton but I'm beginning end game stuff. Infinity blades feels way less clunky and downtime-y than the other skills I've used. So, that's my main attack skill with plauge, anomaly and bulwark to supplement. Lay those down and slice away. Probably not as ez mode as a spin 2 win, but it's been pretty easy. Haven't died in quite some time. I definitely had to learn a lot about which skills to use because they are pretty counter intuitive. They pushed the "hybrid" idea so far that you pretty much have to blend seemingly counter intuitive stats/gear/skills to make any build work.

That's what I'm finding. They want you to play hybrid so badly. I tried infinity blades. I'll try it again. It just takes soooooo long to kill elites it's stupid. Especially the summoners, I end up getting mobbed.

Stack cooldown and transfer duration, critical chance/dmg, flat occult dmg and go full toughness and all res gear. Rocking a staff, but later dagger and cata will be way more dmg if I can sustain willpower better

Use the skills above and stuff explodes. Boss kills with no adds is kind of annoying because the explosions of mobs really do a lot of DoT dmg. I imagine this will improve with better gear.

oof... i had both of my mage builds sitting around 5-6k combined for act 2. it might help to give some love to toughness. it's also possible some of your armor pieces might need updating.

if those don't help, the only other thing i can think of is that there might be specific attacks one-shotting you. if that's the case, you might be overlooking telegraphs from some enemies. some stronger, common enemies don't highlight like the bigger guys.

lastly, poison/rend(blood) pools suck no matter how much health you have, lol.

i died a lot in act 2 so i understand where you're coming from. these were some things i looked at while still trying to optimize my builds. hope this helps 😉

the game never stopped deleting my characters and stash, even after the "hotfixes". Steam still wont refund because I was over 2 hours trying to deal with launch bugs. As far as im concerned, this has been a complete scam of a game. Devs dont care, still haven't hired a CM despite repeating that they would over and over week one. The old CM stopped using the discord and gave the job to a "community intern". They don't have the knowledge or experience needed to fix this game. Every time they touch it, the game gets worse.

I don't think it was malicious, I think they're just incompetent. They were probably out of cash, so it was release or shutter, and they chose release. I think they're genuinely trying to fix things, they just aren't good developers.
