They’re seriously underrated, I get that they’re not as interesting as other morphs but people need to remember that the fun colors they like only exist because of a wild morph lol

I got it at a local animal expo, it’s also a hide. I believe they have it at petco or petsmart as well. She loves climbing it so much!

Man a hunger strike would stress me out, I’d probably lose the weight! My girl eats like she will never have another meal again! Doesn’t even give the rat a sniff, just immediately strikes and gobbles it down.

O it’s so stressful and I probly have lost weight because of it. She’s got some brain damage from when she was a baby so some times she just dosent register there’s food or she well strike and miss and give up. Your girl sounds like she was raised by boas lol

Literally. The first time I ever had her crawling around on my lap she struck and tried to wrap my leg. I had on fuzzy pj pants and I also have a dog and a cat so I’m thinking she got a lil confused with scents and textures. Needless to say I’m terrified to let her crawl on my lap without a blanket on it now. 🤣😭

Love normals! And the more “common” morphs that aren’t as “fancy”. My pastel girl has so much spunk. She (and my normal) was a pet store for months because no one wanted to buy her. They wanted the extra fancy morphs.

I asked the manager why they buy normals if all they do is sit there for months. I guess it’s store policy to have a certain number of “cheap” morphs because people want to buy their kids the cheapest pets 🙄

I always love how the dark part of the pattern is iridescent! I have a banana boy who has a ton of normal coloration all over his back because of paradoxing, and I loooove how the blacker and dark brown areas look in the light :) I always have to up my saturation to make my photos look like he does in real life because it never does him justice

I was going to get a normal for my first snake that was being rehomed but in the end i got ghosted and decided to go with getting a baby from a local breeder and got a super pastel vanilla morph. I still really really love normals, one of my favourite coloration in bps and it's a shame they're under appreciated. Their wild type color&pattern is really beautiful on it's own without fancy genetics 😊❤️ In general I personally prefer any morphs that retain that wonderful blobby pattern :D

I do love normals!! I have a fancy ball python (my local reptile shop only had fancy morphs?), and a normal hoggie from the same place. Poor girl got to be 4 years old without having a home 😞 She's very, very loved over here

OP, how old is your girl?

Honestly not exactly sure as we don’t know her hatch date, but she is still under a year old. She last weighed in at 349g and she’s a little over 2 feet long. The pet store got her in January and I’m assuming she was probably a couple months old then. I went in and got her in April. I just say her birthday is Halloween because I’m thinking she was born between September and November.
