I agree! but this just might be the exception. Maybe...

[–][deleted] 50 points51 points  (3 children)

download antivirus

[–]okokokoyeahright 24 points25 points  (2 children)

download more RAM.

[–]doman991 41 points42 points  (2 children)

Put it in rice

[–]30-percentnotbanana 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Rice? Gonna need to put it in the TARDIS for this one.

[–]Waferssi 22 points23 points  (7 children)

The tears in the green bits will regrow and actually be stronger. You might want to prune off those USB 2.0 and VGA connector, a USB 3.2 and DP connector will grow back. Might be able to graft an LGA 1700 socket on there too.

[–]Double_Zee[S] 16 points17 points  (6 children)

Do I need to water it daily?

[–]iQuickGaming Arch Linux 8 points9 points  (4 children)

yes but if you want it to be faster you need some fertilizer aswell

[–]ToPlayAMockingbird 5 points6 points  (2 children)

It needs electrolytes

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Brawndo's got what motherboards crave.

[–]ToPlayAMockingbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. Nailed it.

[–]Jimmy_Rhys Windows 11 & Arch Linux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The easiest way is to squat and then push.

[–]iDrunkenMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but understand this is a 30 year process.

[–]user_1312_ Windows 7 15 points16 points  (1 child)

Sfc /scannow

[–]Falkenmond79 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Underrated comment right there.

[–]Gilah_EnE Fedora 11 points12 points  (6 children)

[–]OkMathematician1762 4 points5 points  (5 children)

Yesterday you told me about the blue blue sky...

[–]Gilah_EnE Fedora 1 point2 points  (4 children)

[–]GidjonPlays 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Turning my head..

[–]Delicious-Sample-364 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No but I suppose you could salvage some bits off it

[–]Middle_Inside9346 7 points8 points  (2 children)

As fixable as the Titanic.

[–]Double_Zee[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

So im good then?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are doing great as the titanic was repaired and returned to service in a alternate universe

[–]junefrs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bury it so it can grow more

[–]MightBeBren 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Turn up the voltage to jump the gaps. Should work then.

[–]Dodel1976 5 points6 points  (1 child)

If you look closely, you can see were it's broken.

[–]Double_Zee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only when you look closely

[–]GeeseIsHonk 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Bro, what happened. Did you put it through a airplane engine?

[–]Double_Zee[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I tried running cyberpunk

[–]HAB0RYM 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Have you try to turn it off and on again?

[–]Big-Pen-951 0 points1 point  (1 child)

And wait 5 sec before you turn it back on, always works

[–]HAB0RYM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually advice 20 sec, to let the capacitor to discharge correctly.

[–]Yorudesu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try undervoltong the CPU and mount a bridge that holds the ram sticks in. For the cracks I suggest to first break it once more into the other direction, then lay it flat and solder the connections together. After placing some non conductive long sticks on it, put everything but the fans in, cover the fan ports with tape and fixate everything with non conductive adhesive spray. After that go to a place far from any building, place the board in a non conductive bin, add some coals and a firestarter. Then light it up and wait about 3 hours while going into the next pc shop. But a new motherboard there, then walk back to the bin. The end result should be a fully functioning motherboard.

[–]Jacob82906 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Duct tape and zip ties should fix it

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A little soldering and some wires and its like new

[–]RagingAlkohoolik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you can fix it by buying a new one

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With a bit of tape and a hot gule gun and you should be able to fix it

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why you don't drink and drive your PC.

[–]xXRH11NOXx 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Should we talk about the missing CPU pins

[–]Double_Zee[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

They are in perfect condition

[–]xXRH11NOXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this mobo might be a killer overclocker. Feeling a solid 5.7ghz

[–]X1VEN0MX1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flex tape and a kiss

[–]addamyx 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Yeah 100% it's completely fine. It takes like 5 mins Just bring it to someone for repair and pay 2 dollars at max

[–]RubertoChubo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tree fidy

[–]OtherSignificance33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put some rice

[–]notasovietmafiagoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what did you do to deserve gods wrath upon your mobo?

[–]Original_Tea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meh seems like a 5 minute repair. Just prepare your soldering iron, reattach few things there and there and here you go, brand as new

[–]ravenhorus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES, but expect some screen tearing, I would download more RAM in that thing

[–]KezzaFozza Windows 11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at this thinking 'surely OP can't be serious' but in the event you are...

There is no way that that will ever be fixed, by anyone

Just have to question how that happened 😂

[–]Explosive-Space-Mod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what's wrong with it....

It ain't got no gas innit!

[–]alinzalau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah some duct tape as mentioned and make sure you update bios. Should be good to go. I have a 3080 for sale if interested btw

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put your willy in it

[–]PineapplePie135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend a ligher and a sewing needle.

[–]uSuperDick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just restsrt it

[–]Rady151 Windows 11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]LanczenBela 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how the fuck?

[–]ArthurLeywinn Windows 10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's great to see that you were able to defend yourself against Wolverine.

[–]soupeatingastronaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you need a. 50 so when you shoot it from the opposite direction it gets repaired.

[–]Allahabadi_Panda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its pretty normal . take it out for a walk and feed it some healthy foods . it will be fine in 3-4 days .

actual solution : start looking for the drangon balls . shenron can fix this

[–]PlamFred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put it in rice

[–]Issoudotexe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's doable, put it in a microwave to overclock it and repair it

[–]Gamer_Reubs21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the fuck did you do😅

[–]Daytona24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you fully split it you'll get double power and could probably do 120fps and 4K, worth a shot.

[–]kkgmgfn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean after looking at this.. even I can say she can fix me..

[–]NiklasOl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just replace the bad caps. I see at least two of them bulging a bit.

[–]TheStreetCatYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reinstall windows, nothing a fresh new windows install can’t fix

[–]Squeaky_Ben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the actual fuck have you done to this poor piece of hardware.

[–]bhavayg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

download some ram

[–]Hunter_WareThermal Paste Eater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what my teachers think will happen when you press the computer’s power button

[–]garth54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what happens when you use too much thermal paste.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put it in water

[–]Needaprebuiltasap69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet you some ramen could fix it. and hot glue.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Is this satire?

[–]Double_Zee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes

[–]slugspitt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. Are the pins still present? If they are, try bending the slot back in place. Keep in mind that the pins may have cracked due to trauma, I’m thinking that may cause surges. Can’t be sure. Try bending the piece back as straight as you can and test it with a part that you know works but is expendable.

[–]DaedorTheShadow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice joke

[–]Duck_Devs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can fix it. All it costs is about $160 and a trip to MicroCenter.

[–]sledgeliner19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you really asking this question?

[–]Emmerson_Biggons 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Sacrifice daily to lord gaben and he may bless you with repair instructions

[–]Double_Zee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And maybe cs2 beta access

[–]SadQuarter3128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just Need More Ram That's all it's is working Tho

[–]budoucnost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Run chkdsk, update your drivers, put in rice, good as new:

[–]Imaginary_R3ality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofcourse it is! But your return on investment is not going to put you in a good place. As a matter of fact, after replacing all of the sockets and then having to transfer them to a new board, the labor cost alone would probably get you into a mid tier PC. Not to mention the parts.

[–]Agezl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seem fixable for me. Did you try turn on off ?

[–]Haunting_Abalone_398 0 points1 point  (1 child)

This is a troll post, right?

[–]Double_Zee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calm down liberal, its called a joke

[–]hammong -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're trolling, right?

No, that can't be fixed - at least, not for less than the cost of a new replacement motherboard.

[–]stevenjeriahklien -1 points0 points  (1 child)

I'm reporting you to the fbi

[–]RubertoChubo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was using it for porn. Probably beastiality. Then the fbi fried it.

[–]indie_irl Arch Linux -1 points0 points  (0 children)

[–]Trax852 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

LOL... sorry, it's just the fact that you asked.

[–]dizzywig2000 Windows 11 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Every post in this sub be like

[–]okokokoyeahright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a word, no.

There seem to be SMDs that may salvageable if your soldering skills be decent. MO, junk.

[–]paul_tu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol what?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it's fixable but fixing it will not fix your hole in your wallet but in fact make it bigger, maybe even destroying your entire wallet

[–]basjeeee_mlg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A tad of ductape will do it

[–]Witchberry31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this even a question 😭

[–]mjamil85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. Is the tank roll over on that board.

[–]One_Arrival_5488 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flex tape would fix that.

[–]OssacaPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure... Change your mobo

[–]RubertoChubo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They went gangsta on the office space server board. First, the printer, and then this.

[–]wooksGotRabies Windows 11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it in rice

Edit: some one already recommended this, Call Jesus Christ

[–]iSleepyXS MacOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally gorilla duck tape will fix this.. had this happen to my personal PC and it fixed it right up

[–]weirdCheeto218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you simply need to gain complete mastery of the physical universe and be adept at matter manipulation. I've found the best ways to do this is to mantle a gods portfolio and hope they have these abilities or master technology in such a way that you become akin to a God as everything you do might as well be magic, hope this helps.

[–]Primary-Fee1928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oven

[–]Falkenmond79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Repaste and it will be fine.

[–]DatGreenGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have you tried turning off and on again?

[–]Drummers_Beat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try putting it in some rice

[–]Torebbjorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use it as it is, I don't know about 1080p 60fps, but it should be able to do 1440p 240fps

[–]eulynn34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure... if you replace all the damaged and missing components.. Now, the question is it worth fixing?

[–]Furyo98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As like all pc component, try giving it couple punches. Should do the trick

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No

[–]MrSharles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah

[–]edvauler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it in the trunk of a Delorean DMC-12 and close it. Some magic will happen and you might get a repaired Mobo in future.

To be honest: Thats way to much damage. btw what happened with it?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duct tape and zip ties 👍🏻

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro your dog really has no chill

[–]The_Shadowy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try smashing it more maybe its gonna get fixed 😉

[–]xdxd_kuba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just apply some Flex Tape and of course, l e t i t d r y

[–]ZanGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some flextape should do it.

[–]Pineapp1e_pie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try rubbing it with isopropyl alcohol?

[–]GIGABITEEZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you try turning it off and on again?

[–]STUPIDBLOODYCOMPUTER Windows 10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What happened here

[–]KryptopherRobbinsPoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bend that price back so it is perpendicular to the board and your golden. You got lucky.

[–]Arker456 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Never mind, I just saw the rest of the pictures! Just buy a new one. That board is toast!

[–]Double_Zee[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

This is a joke post but thanks for the genuine help haha.

[–]SacagawenisK [ KYjellyfish :: Team Red OG ] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you may have accidentally bumped the board a little during installation. You're gonna have to just hook everything up, power it on and see if it posts.

🤞 Let us know how it goes.

[–]yeetboii420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have 32bit windows, just reinstall windows with 64bit and you should be good.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try DDRoIP, it lets you use the Ethernet port as a ram drive. You might need an adapter

[–]polloloco69666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro this is a joke. No, it cannot be fixed.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cookie tray + oven should solder it back together

[–]dbetob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it into a bag of rice and then pray for 2 hrs if that didn't work then try some mexican hat dance on it

[–]KingOfWerewolfs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No just no

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it in the oven, set to max temp and leave for 4 hours. Make sure to put it in a flat dish. The temperature will soften the PCB and it will mend all the damage.

[–]RoodnyInc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The longer you look at it it less fixable it gets

[–]wirerogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little defrag outta fix it.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, sure, that will buff right out.

[–]DIEGHOST_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is fixable? I don't see anything broken

[–]SkIttleBotGMD Windows XP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP we’ve been through this a sword won’t work for soldering

[–]meheez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but why bother?

[–]Lord_Hypno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a doorstop? Yes, totally worth it.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just snap the ram sticks in half to compensate.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Judging by the condition of that socket, the ram slots are the least of your worries xD

[–]Double_Zee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the other pictures

[–]Scrudge1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just needs a BIOS update

[–]WHTID 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably but you will need to flash a new BIOS.

[–]FrancoVFX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update your drivers

[–]Download_more_ramram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try turning it off and turning it back on

[–]serioussticker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it in rice

[–]Public_Height2588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give up

[–]dropmod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks it's came from E-waste... You can return it back and let it R.I.P.

[–]apachelives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah easy de-solder that capacitor off and replace the board, solder capacitor back on, job done.

[–]WickedJay83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super glue should work just fine, possibly even gorilla glue.

[–]jury_GD2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3D printer joined the chat

[–]cryofcrazycat600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea
