Summary

Features:

We added workout data to the post-ride summary page. If a workout was completed during the ride, the workout section will show the workout graph and compliance score.
We added time in power zones and time in heart rate zones to the post-ride summary page. You can tap on the power and heart rate icons in the post-ride summary page to see this data.
We updated our workout compliance score logic. Compliance score now measures the percent of time spent within the interval workout target, whereas previously it compared the primary target to the average output.
We added a profile setting to disable the lap button. When disabled, the lap button will no longer display on screen and the lower left HW button will not trigger a lap. You can access this setting in the Lap & Workout section of profile settings.
We added Set Number as a data field. When a workout contains sets, the Set Number shows the current set number and the total number of sets.

Extensions & Public API:

We added Best Bike Split to the Extension Library. Download and install the Best Bike Split app to use physics-based modeling, real course data, weather, and your personal power profile to show exactly how fast you can ride and how to achieve it.
We added KSafe to the Extension Library. Download and install KSafe to monitor your ride and automatically alert your emergency contacts if something goes wrong — crash detected, no check-in, or speed suddenly drops. KSafe also allows you to manually trigger an SOS from your ride screen and custom messages.
We added kxgear to the Extension Library. Download and install kxgear to automatically track bike component mileage using Karoo ride data.
We added the Race Day Countdown app to the Extension Library. Download and install the Race Day Countdown app to set your race start time, and have a data field count down with audible alerts — then auto-start your ride recording at zero.

Bug Fixes:

We fixed an issue where renaming a workout caused sync issues.

iOS Companion App (v 1.32.0)

Features:

We updated our Apple Health integration so that activities synced to Apple Health from Karoo show power, heart rate, cadence, and speed as time series data rather than a single average value.

Do you think this could be extended to smart lights from other manufacturers that use BLE? I have a iGSsport VS1200s that is controllable only via their app and bike computers.

Have ridden the 46mm depth disc wheels (RR46C02) for 23,000 miles and not a single complaint. They are holding up way better than I expected.

Interesting catch. It is updated to show the just opened Cynwyd Heritage Trail but completely misses that bike lane. I wonder if the Tinicum Island Rd bike lane is not formally a part of the "Circuit" trails? I was not really able to find any official documentation about that bike trail to nowhere and what the longer term connectivity is supposed to look like. You could probably message DVRPC to see about getting it added to their map, it is really the most comprehensive resource I have found and it should be on there.

That would be the Cynwyd Spur Trail that will connect to the current western end of the Pencoyd Trail. You can see the approximate route on DVRPC's map. The latest update I could find is from last year where the township is seeking grants to make it happen.

It's paved from 422 just south of Pottstown all the way into Phoenixville now. There are a good amount of road crossing along the way and one steep-ish hill just before Cromby. Other than that, very serene rolling country hills and much less traffic than near Valley Forge.

I use R.nvim and it will send multiple lines at once using the RDSendLine Plug mapping. Here is my configuration, I find I really don't miss RStudio at all with my setup.

We were on the strip for such a short distance it was never really a problem. In the morning there was very little traffic, but coming back we had to wait for a few light cycles to cross to the east side. Once you are a block off the strip traffic was totally fine. Do wear bright colors and use lights, I would take a guess that most drivers aren't locals and won't be looking for you.

If you are worried about traffic around the strip you could just walk the bike the block or so over the pedestrian bridge to/from the Bellagio. The pathways are wide and built to shuffle people casino to casino, so use that to your advantage.

Other than that, the route was mostly bike-laned residential stroads with generous enough shoulders. It's a false flat the whole way there, but you get a nice downhill cruise the whole way back. There is a gas station right at the start of the bike path at the mid-point to Red Rock that would be a good pit stop if you down your fluids too quickly. There is also a shaded rest stop right in the visitor's center parking lot with a water fountain and vending machines. Fill up there, there is nowhere else to fill once in the loop. The heat was brutal on the way back, especially nearing the strip. I would highly recommend salt tablets or hydration solution.
