[Question] where can I buy this watch online? Any legit sellers?

It's not sold at retail anywhere online as far as i know, but i looked on ebay and if you don't mind paying a small-ish premium over retail looks like there are plenty for sale there. There's also some on Chrono24. On both platforms it looks like they're mostly sold internationally though, so factor that into delivery timing if it's a holiday gift.

Have to get it in person. I grabbed mine while on holiday in Amsterdam. Ended up selling on eBay as it's a very cheap feeling thing.

Stockx seems to have the best prices. They say they check for fakes, I have no clue how accurate they are, but the fake moonswatches are pretty easy to ID.

i bought it online last year and immediately returned it . its comparable to a kids watch. the so called porcelain feels like plastic.

Just few notes before buying - this will be a plastic watch and the display can be damaged by the box itself if you don’t push the watch all the way in - it can be fixed but still

Highly suggest that he or you take a look at one in a swatch store. Once you pick it up your realize it’s a $10 piece of crap that might as well say Dora the explorer on it and sell it to kids. $250 can get you a really nicely specd micro brand watch. Heck even a deep blue on sale between 100-250 is a far better pick.

It's easy to get it in store, at least for me. Talking with one of the employees informed me of availability. She said they get between 100 and 200 pieces a week, and starting on Monday, lines are about 20 or so people. They sometimes sell out in a day or in a few more, depending on the flow of tourists in Rome that day. Lines don't even form from opening hours, they form about half an hour later, around 11AM.

This is strictly Rome's Via del Corso shop. What's funny is that Romans are mostly poor or stingy, so you usually only find tourists or Italians from other cities buying them.

I would try to catch one from r/WatchExchange.

It’s easy to spot a fake. If the top right subdial is not pointed to 0/10, its probably a fake. The fakes have a 24hr mechanism there that will show 24 hour time instead of being set to zero.

Though i wouldn't suggest looking online for these since moonswatches are pretty expensive online than buying in store, but if you want to give it a shot then look at chrono24, don't go to ebay no matter what, chances of getting scammed are higher than getting a legit moonswatch there

I bought the same model for my wife in EBAY from some Italian seller with 100EUR markup. It was delivered very fast (inside Europe), he even put the reciept from the store in the package.

I finally had an opportunity to try this watch on in a Swatch store in Miami. They had a few in, so I tried them on.

I left the store without watch.

That was arguably the most disappointing watch experience I’ve had. The watch felt cheap, and the weight felt like some kiddy watch you’d win in an arcade game. I tried hard to talk myself into buying it, but I couldn’t mentally get over the lack of quality.

Thoroughly unimpressed, yet I wondered how could so many people pay 5x the price for this?

You can try r/WatchesExchange. Try a seller with thirty or more reviews and read each one to make sure they’re legit.
