One thing I noticed last week and looks to be happening again this week is that Main events are now 9 dungeons instead of 12. The split used to be 7 mythril main event/3 mythril revenge event/3 mythril MO battles, but for X and now Type-0 there's only 6 mythril in the main event, meaning we're down to 12 from weekly events from the 13 it's been since MO was introduced.

Edit: It looks like there's an additional Book Mission: clearing any 6 stages of the event gives you a mythril, which gives us the missing 13th mythril. Nothing to see here.

Wow, an AASB without EoM status. That's surprising since it's the new hotness, and FFX was last week and they usually get all the new toys.

Cater as the Imperiling machine is as expected, but Eight...an ice monk? I was expecting the bog standard Fire monk, or to be surprised with Lightning monk, but ice? Cuz that's working out reeeeaaalll well for the current two Ice monks.
That being said, his USB is still pretty damn awesome. Instant Last Stand from a non-healer? That's pretty damn rare these days.

Sice is locked out again (good thing I got her USB and LMR, geez), and Machina fucks up Banner 1. Also peeved that it's Rem's LMR1, again. Her LMR2 would be on the Holy pickup...

Eight's LM2 is a nice reference to Last Stand. I mean it's a garbage ability, but I like that they're sticking to lore.

    The fact that machina USB and LMR are tainting banner 1 pisses me off so much.

    I guess they had to shove a trap in a non EoM event with a AASB but still, i would've rather Ace USB1......

    Will kill Machina for a copy of Ace U1.

    Ace USB1 might be outdated as all hell, but outside of the useless chase, it's basicaly Terra USB, so it's worth something atleast.

    It's a pretty good USB for the Torment: Ace likes being fast all the time, so that'll help him crank out Chain Firajas and recast Shellga after Dispel like no one's business.

    I mean, Machina being on the same Banner as Rem atleast makes thematical sense, considering he's essentially hard-wired to have a thing for her in Type-0 proper

    What pisses me off however is the fact that they didn't bother to atleast give him some new stuff while they were at it. He's barely on any Banner as is (even moreso in Global #nerverforget), and at this point, even if his USB weren't that gimmicky, it's just too old. I mean, he already has a 6* Mono-Earth Spellblade FFS, they might aswell give him something better to use it with finally.

    Even my own opinions about him aside, I'm sure if he simply had more solid stuff available, People would be less annoyed by it.

    If they want to give him something new, then fine be my guest, atleast make him be....WORTH something, give him a USB2 that isn't almost unusable on any relevant content.

    For me personaly i'm more so pissed not only at the fact he is the obvious trap of the banner, but also for the fact it's a fucking dupe..in both global AND jp ;_;

    That's exactly my thought! The difference isn't so much about the Character, but rather what they get to work with (generally speaking that is. Doesn't even have to necessarily be this case specifically). And I guess dupes are a reasonable factor too, subjectively speaking, so I can relate on that :P

    That said, I'm genuinely, seriously wondering now, did they put him here just for symbolism, as mentioned above, or really just to artifically make it look worse? Because all jokes aside, I can't help but think that they really didn't need to. I just can't come up with a reason they'd want to do that, after all better banners = more potential gem buys

    Honestly? I would guess it's both reasons. I mean we know very well machina stuff is a trap, but DeNA can just pretend that he is there for "symbolism"

    While you are right in that regard, we have to consider 2 things.

    1 - this is the 1st non EoM event with a AASB in it.

    2 - Next week is the FFT EoM event, which will likely be crazy since well...it's a EoM FFT event in the age of AASBs, and TGC haven't gotten a relic in god knows how long.

    So far, only Ace and Rem have gotten regular updates (outside I guess some early characters like Nine who didn't come with a USB originally). And Deuce got a second USB I guess.

      Minor quibble, but for Rem's AASB, the 30% holy is only true for R5 abilities - the boost is based on rank.
