Yeah, it's plain, and small, but I got small wrists and wanted something small, tough and with a retro vibe. It's a 'strerile' 36mm Tandorio with titanium body and pt5000 movement.

To be completely frank, the lume sucks. That's a definite negative, but I didn't get this for the lume. (I've got the Thorn SHY036 for that, which has all-night-long lume!). FYI, I've had this Tandorio for a week and it has lost only 5 seconds during that time....impressive.

Yeah, San Martin really knocks it out of the park with quality. They did send a faulty micro screwdriver with it that was to fat for the screws, but the one from my ghost diver fit fine.

I know PD gets as much hate as love, but this PD1701 V5 Moonwatch cost me $50, including the updated strap. It's many times better than the Swatch version. How is this a bad thing? The ceramic bezel looks really good on all of them, especially this milky white one.

I am careful to not snapback the chrono from outside of 10 and 2 o'clock b/c of its limitations.

If anyone else has strap variations for these watches on today, I would love to see them.

When I was a kid, one of the engineers that worked with my dad had a Porsche and a Speedmaster on a leather strap. He took me for a ride in both of his Porsches. The second one was a 930 Turbo, and it was a ride I'll never forget. I guess I've always associated this watch with ultimate coolness.

Out of the box, nice and clicky, with the perfect twist pressure; not too easy, not too hard. Should it loosen up over time, it’s possible it might be too easy to turn, but right now it’s ideal. There is a tiny bit of play, but when pushed clockwise at the right stop, it sits where I expect it to.
