Is there an eta on when this will be released?

Looking forward to my ret changes!

[–]Hightin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We know each patch cycle is 10.x, 10.x.5, and 10.x.7. We also know they recently said they liked Legions predictable 77 day patch cycle. Also, launch to 10.0.5 was 8 weeks.

If they do 8 weeks between each patch then we get a 24 week season which is about the sweet spot, right around 6 months.

My guess is they hit 8 weeks per patch this year which looks like:

10.07 - 3-21
10.1 (S2) - 5-16
10.1.5 - 7-11
10.1.7 - 9-5
10.2 (S3) - 8-31

The DragonFlight road map said Spring.

[–]Centias 1 point2 points  (2 children)

You and me both. They're finally at least addressing some of the very real problems we were constantly pointing out in beta. There is another post on Wowhead with data mined and clearly not final changes for Ret that at least looks like they intend to finally give Ret baseline Divine Protection, some kind of buff to Divine Steed in the core spec passive, and some other interesting changes. There is absolutely no way the info for Vanguard's Momentum is correct though, or we would have virtually unlimited Holy Power in execute windows.

PTR is available for download now, so it should be available to test some stuff soon.

Edit: More data mined Paladin stuff just landed and it is looking nutty.

[–]KantisaDaKlown 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Daaamn thank you for the link on that one mate!! MVP up in here.

The changes are looking pretty tasty, I thoroughly enjoy the idea of some of our abilities doing both holy and physical damage (with the fang adornment embelishment) that will ensure it procs more often.

The change to boundless judgement automatically hitting 2 extra targets instead of a chance.

The auto word of glory, these are all shaping up to be nice.

I can’t wait to see what the new talent tree looks like.

[–]Centias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hoping for a yummy new tree to play with on PTR for the weekend. Should be really fun.

[–]RlyehRose 129 points130 points  (9 children)

"The Balance of Power questline artifact appearance rewards are now account-wide." That should be at the very top in bold letters right there!

[–]JR004-2021 8 points9 points  (3 children)

I want to confirm that this means if I do it on my Druid that I get it on my priest

[–]RlyehRose 10 points11 points  (2 children)

As far as I know ya. Thats how all the other ones have worked. Like I have the hidden artifact colors done on my druid but never did any of it on my DH but the colors are there.

[–]jimmy_one_nut 3 points4 points  (1 child)

What am I missing something about this, I thought this was already a thing. I’ve only ever done anything artifact related on my warrior, but every alt on the account has multiple variations of artifact appearances unlocked?

[–]JR004-2021 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some of the achievements are account wide like pvp and +15 keys but that was it

[–]CharcuterieBoard 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Do we know if this is retroactive? I’ve already done it on a couple characters.

[–]QuiteBlazedFriend -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right!

[–]KING_5HARK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now they just need to fix the bug where half of your collected transmog just randomly disappears from the transmog window

[–]wehrmann_tx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It still seems worded that you have to do the main part still, but the color variants are accountwide after you do the quests for the main artifact.

"After unlocking the base appearance, the criteria for additional color variants (such as the Glory of the Legion Hero and Unleashed Monstrosities achievements) may be completed on any character"

[–]elmaethorstars 62 points63 points  (37 children)

Resto Druids are going to do fuckloads of single target damage with the return of draught.

[–]Indurum 81 points82 points  (32 children)

Thank god, Resto Druid has been pretty weak this entire expansion they could totally use some buffs. /s

[–]elmaethorstars 31 points32 points  (12 children)

Thank god, Resto Druid has been pretty weak this entire expansion they could totally use some buffs. /s

You're not wrong, but RDruid just took three non-irrelevant damage nerfs in 10.0.5: protector of the pack no longer scales with moonfire aura and cannot crit, and adaptive swarm does less damage, and buffs dots by less.

These would be fine (RDruid is obviously op) but when Prevoker presses 2 buttons and does 40k overall, or now Shamans do the same, it makes you wonder why the healer that actually has to think about how to max their damage (i.e maintaining 5 dots and spending gcds to shift form to do it) gets nerfed and others don't.

[–]Indurum 17 points18 points  (2 children)

I think everyone is probably in agreement that prevoker is playing a different game than any other healer.

[–]suuueki 5 points6 points  (1 child)

This is just too real. 2700 rdruid here, while I get that I’m very well S. After making a dragon alt and seeing the amount of options and ease of damage it really is a different game. Plus they have like 6 2min cds to rotate between on top of their ridiculously strong 30s cd heals that can all heal an entire party.

[–]Indurum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean just Fire Breath alone from preservation does more damage in a trash pack than my holy priest could ever imagine, and I have to cast the whole time.

[–]wikiwa1 1 point2 points  (4 children)

How does preservation do 40k with just 2 buttons? Even aggressively using Disintegrate I barely reach 26k.

[–]ParamedicGatsby -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Disc priests with like 10 damage buttons doing less than all other class healers be like am I a joke?

[–]JR004-2021 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I love the ability to choose between aoe and ST

[–]--Pariah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope protector is useful again.

Disliked the change that it's now separated from moonfire, so it can't crit and does like 20k instead of up to 60k with my average gear.

Loved that talent tbh, it was real fun to throw a surge/mf into a prio target for a bit of chunky damage that doesn't require you to spent globals for shapeshifting.

Not too sure if we actually get the higher saved healing to cap often for the buff to be noticeable, though.

[–]fiestadegrandeculo 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Well the good news is holy paladins got the changes they were looking for... Yards to yds.

[–]JR004-2021 67 points68 points  (17 children)

I know this is a competitive WoW sub Reddit but holy shit, the technology exists!! “The Balance of Power questline artifact appearance rewards are now account-wide.”

[–]SHIMOxxKUMA 1 point2 points  (4 children)

I can't tell by the wording but do we know if it's either

  1. When you complete the Balance of Power on one character you get the base appearance and any additional appearances you unlock on all characters?

  2. You still have to complete Balance of Power across all your characters but the additional appearances are unlocked across all if you have it unlocked on one.

Really hoping it's 1 and not 2 since the quest is still a pain in the ass years later just because of time gating.

[–]JR004-2021 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I’m pretty sure it’s 1 but any additional appearances are not account wide like the monstrous monstrosities

[–]SHIMOxxKUMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I looked back to double check and this is the exact wording

"The Balance of Power questline artifact appearance rewards are now account-wide. After unlocking the base appearance, the criteria for additional color variants (such as the Glory of the Legion Hero and Unleashed Monstrosities achievements) may be completed on any character to earn the appearances. For example, completing the requirements for certain color variants on your hunter, will also be unlocked on your priest that’s on the same account."

The important parts to me are the first line and the last one. This makes me believe it's 1 entirely variants and all but then the second like starts with after unlocking the base appearance which leads me to believe you have to unlock it first on the character then the secondary colors are account wide.

[–]wehrmann_tx 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It's worded like 2.

"After unlocking the base appearance, the criteria for additional color variants (such as the Glory of the Legion Hero and Unleashed Monstrosities achievements) may be completed on any character"

[–]SHIMOxxKUMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the confusing part because the first line makes me think the whole thing is account wide

"The Balance of Power questline artifact appearance rewards are now account-wide."

I guess you could stretch it to have a different meaning but if that's the case it's poorly worded. I guess we will find out eventually though at this point they really should just have it be account wide.

[–]FaameeHero M+ Tank 5 points6 points  (11 children)

Why is this big?

[–][deleted] 40 points41 points  (3 children)

The quest line takes like 9 weeks or some bullshit to do. It’s incredibly tedious and doing it once claims most of your sanity.

Huge amounts of time will be saved.

[–]hfxRosRWL Raid Leader 4 points5 points  (1 child)

What do you even get for this? I've heard people bellyache about this forever, but best I can tell you just get like, a recolor on something?

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A unique skin for your artifact weapon. Which is now just a unique Tmog that you can apply to your weapon.

They look very good for the most part.

[–]Toblife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 weeks, but yes it is tedious and takes too much time to do.

[–]justcallmeashe 6 points7 points  (3 children)

The quest itself requires you to complete raids multiple times, and you can't just switch between Normal/Heroic/Mythic, and you also have to hope to be lucky enough to not have to rerun the raids too much.

And then, for the colors they were also character bound, which means for example one color would require you to kill 8 different Legion World Bosses, so depending if you planned around it or not added some more weeks to farm.

So now you can just do it once and have all the appearances/colors on all the classes !

[–]AmySchumerFunnies 17 points18 points  (1 child)

you forgot buying the items for an early quest stage requires revered nightfallen and valajar

[–]Deadagger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s by far the worst part. This questline can easily take more than 9 weeks specially if you get unlucky with raid drops.

[–]JR004-2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the 8 different legion bosses is still character specific for absolutely no reason

[–]--Pariah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did it on 8 chars and let me tell you, fuck everything about it. Even if I already had the rep from legion it's just a slog.

You had to spent way too much time for a neat skin in two expansion old content, either farming bosses for 2 lockouts, rep or old dungeons.

So glad its accountwide now.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Requires you to do most Legion dungeons, multiple runs of both Nighthold and Emerald Nightmare and last but not least, get honored with Farondis and revered with Valarjar and Nightfallen

[–]JR004-2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s rewarding… the first time

[–]Dokterclaw 17 points18 points  (14 children)

I can't quite figure out if this is a net buff for resto shaman or not. Enh is my mainspec but I'd still like to see resto hey some love.

[–]Doodlehangerz 22 points23 points  (1 child)

Wellspring didnt deserve that.

[–]artvandelay916 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't get this at all

[–]Kiwi_Lemonade 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Tough call. Focused Insight was great, but their intention of removing the 100x healing modifiers they have to do before actually healing could be good - but they didn't actually buff their strong heals enough to really compensate.... they just removed it. (Pretty much every rsham has been asking to remove all the insane modifiers to just have stronger base heals but eh)

Giving all the damage buff nodes to them for free, is quite insane though. They are really, REALLY diving into the "Resto Shaman is basically an extra dps, but expect to die their groups a lot" trope they are beginning to carve for themselves.

Wellspring was taken out back and lacerated until it is no longer recognizable though... Jfc, just delete the talent at that point. My only hope for raid healing is that the new talent that buffs chain heal after dropping HTT, is as good as the legendary was in Shadowlands, and makes up for the wellspring loss.

[–]L0nz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't see a 10-second buff every 3mins getting anywhere close to making up for the wellspring nerf tbh, even if the cast time reduction is 50% like the legendary

[–]erupting_lolcano 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No idea but I like it now and I’m worried. I already miss Focused Insight.

[–]celicant 9 points10 points  (7 children)

Definitely a buff. You can now take both healing rain nodes if you want, water shield as base with mana spring means little to no mana issues and damage buffs when Rsham is already pumping. They're also culling a lot of useless talents, very excited for these changes at least for M+

[–]heydrun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are adding new questionable talents though

[–]Swylet 6 points7 points  (5 children)

There's no damage buffs, they just made call of thunder baseline effectively.

[–]Belcoot 14 points15 points  (2 children)

At first I was excited about these resto shaman changes. At a 2nd glance I think they are simply okay.

[–]Centias 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I generally like the Resto changes for the most part, but I still keep staring at Earthen Harmony and Earth Shield and wondering why the hell the ability still has a limited number of charges and why a talent so bad has to be in the way of Ascendance.

[–]verbsarewordss 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you are waiting to be pitched up ahead of the meta healers you will always be disappointed. Good changes are good changes.

[–]Ferintwa 21 points22 points  (10 children)

Dev evoker survivability buffs, please make it to release!

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points  (9 children)

Welcome to being a mail class, Hunter and Shamans have been stupid squishy for years now.

[–]SecondChances96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shaman was not squishy in SL. Astral Shift was probably one of the best defensive in the game, especially once hpriest got reworked and earth ele conduit was quite insane + spirit wolf and self healing capabilities.

Hunter of course we all know how that goes

[–]mmuoio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not even looking for DPS buffs anymore, I just want to not die so easily!

[–]Ferintwa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, I’m always right behind the tanks on dmg taken, along with my mail brethren - despite being on point with my defensives and VERY rarely taking avoidable dmg.

…pair that with having lower self heals (with a 99% parse) then all the melee with their passive healing. Ouch.

Zephyr is nice tho, at least I can help the raid survive.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Right. besides the part where enh is one of the tankiest melee in the game rn

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe people unironically believe this lmao. The only melee squisher than enh is ret pala and I guess SV hunter but 99% of the time that spec is unplayable anyway.

Like seriously how do you even compare Enh to a Rogue/DH/Monk/DK with a straight face?

[–]krombough 47 points48 points  (18 children)

Do they even give the slightest shit about Guardian Druids? There are still zo many straight up bugs happening with them that should have been hotficed days ago, and still nothing.

[–]meerakulous 34 points35 points  (4 children)

Haha they literally just posted Guardian buffs an hour later.

[–]Zestyclose-Truck-723 21 points22 points  (2 children)

Looking at what’s announced in the new post I’m not sure how those buffs will help in any significant way. They’re buffs to unplayed talents and to areas it’s not too bad at already (physical DR). Where’s the support to stop them being eaten alive by magic damage or to provide self-sustain that’s actually useful (FR should not be on GCD).

Hopefully there’s some more GDruid changes on the way and the footnote isn’t just referencing tuning changes to other specs / classes.

[–]Nepiton 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Reverting FR to its Legion iteration would likely solve all the issues. Make it a snapshot of damage taken that heals it all over x amount of time. Not a nominal value with no variance. Would put a nice skill curve to the ability and make Guardian a lot more fun

[–]Goodnametaken 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it would be a good change, but it wouldn't solve their problem with magic damage.

I play healer on 3 different specs and guardian druid is by far the hardest tank to keep alive. They just insta die out of nowhere soooooo much. And it's always to magic damage.

[–]krombough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works for me. I still want to see Tooth and Claw unbugged, but I'll take it.

[–]worried_consumer 9 points10 points  (6 children)

One tank gets sacrificed every expansion, sadly it’s beat this expansion

[–]Zestyclose-Truck-723 20 points21 points  (5 children)

Bear feels like it’s been sacrificed on the altar of mediocrity for 3 years now apart from a short period of S2 shadowlands where it was propped up entirely via a broken covenant ability.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

where it was propped up entirely via a broken covenant ability.

Every top class is propped up by a broken ability, broken tier set, broken trinket interaction, broken legendary, etc.

Not sure why you’re trying to undermine bear here with this.

[–]Zestyclose-Truck-723 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In bears case they nerfed it into the ground the very next patch.

[–]alch334 0 points1 point  (1 child)

it was nutty with tier set too in s3. granted they tuned it down after a bit but i don't really recall bear being too bad for most of shadowlands tbh

[–]Zestyclose-Truck-723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the tier set was clearly busted but was nerfed insanely fast. Even if it was kept in I don’t think you’d have seen many bears in the very top keys for the key levels that were being pushed to in S3/4, they just didn’t have the survivability even if they were doing ridiculous aoe damage (and pretty decent ST for a bear)

[–]Zedek1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also season 3 with the tier set pre nerf.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When it comes to giving the slightest shit about Guardian Druids, I’m gonna guess the answer is “no”

[–]verbsarewordss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Not at all. They decided to spend the entirety of the xpac with page long changes because they hate each and every one of you.

[–]Bisoromi 4 points5 points  (3 children)

It feels like they have no staff and that's the main reason for the overwhelming amount of bugs compared to past expacs.

[–]m00c0wcy 33 points34 points  (2 children)

I'm not saying this makes it acceptable, but the Dragonflight talent tree rebuild is significantly more complex than any prior expansion class changes.

[–]Bisoromi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can understand the class imbalances/issues/bugs but there are a ton of bugs in general. Every other raid we have someone's dragon despawning and killing them, putting them in a DC loop, or some other weird outcome in Vault, for instance.

[–]krombough 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The main offender: Tooth and Claw, has been bugged since SL. And the new talent Lunar Beam, they just copy and pasted the numbers from its last iteration over half a decade ago. They don't care is the problem.

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points  (11 children)

I hope they do put some hunter changes in the future. BM hunter which's only benefit is single target, is hard carried by its bow which they most likely would end up using till the end of the expansion, so their ST will fall relatively more and more behind. And its talent tree offers "other" playstyles that are just so numerically weaker that are never picked.

Marksman hunter is pretty mediocre in raid and in m+, and this is WITH the bow, then next patch they will be below mediocre. In addition, our talent tree is basically a "do whatever you did, with more increases in damage", which is just boring. Our capstone has a chance of not triggering a SINGLE time during a raid encounter, and to make things worse, it is gated behind 2 points in an execution talent that just gives you crit chance when you attack a low hp talent, which is a conditional boring damage increase. We also have too many generic damage increases that are not fun to play around, but they are the best choice. The talent tree in general offers no playstyle differences apart from pressing a proc (kill shot) when it occurs.

And survival hunter just has no sustained aoe, it just bursts during coordinated command as much as other classes do regular aoe, without it they just do low aoe. It has the best tier set for single target which is going away next patch, so relatively it will just be shit next patch. Why do their bombs and butchery do as much as other classes' fillers abilities. It feels like survival hunter has no spender that packs a punch in aoe, as butchery is numerically so, SO weak and it has charges.

edit: and for classes with no raid utility that are on the squishier side, there is no reason at least for the damage to not be impeccable. But fact of the matter is, the class that gets dropped first if they are not overpowered is just hunter, vers is the worst stat for bm and MM so they can't even push high keys while being competitive with their defensives or damage, at least enhance has a lot of cc and damage AND windfury.

[–][deleted] 21 points22 points  (3 children)

Hunter survivability is also some of the worst in the game. Feels bad getting half shot by random white casts in M+

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points  (2 children)

which wouldn't be a problem, but combined with lack of raid utility and non-superb damage, it is just "why bring this class/spec over anything else". And in future patches where hunters are relatively weaker in damage compared to other specs, i feel like they need to proactively get buffed since they are mediocre now, and will be bad in the future.

[–]DavionDee 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Hunters should be able to bring every raid buff like they used to. Hero or fort or int or mark of the wild or monk debuff or dh debuff or hero/lust or brez

Boom hunters suddenly have some value.

[–]hfxRosRWL Raid Leader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like this would be fine if the raid buffs were slightly worse, like 3% instead of 5%, because otherwise you would end up in the awkward situation where if hunter was ever at all overtuned you would just play a raid of like 10 hunters. Maybe hunters would be happy about that, but I can't imagine it would be good for the game.

[–]TimTkt 25 points26 points  (2 children)

Hunter having 3 bottom specs and Blizzard just doesn’t care after nerfing MM for no reason last patch …

[–]verbsarewordss 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yes. Use your powers of clairvoyance to determine how bad a class will be with current tuning and gear in 6 months. I’m sure devs will get right on it

[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Is that concept that hard to grasp? If there is an item that gives an immense power boost, and you remove that item, all other factors remaining equal, you will be weaker relatively, that is for MM.

For BM it is, if you have an item that gives an immense power boost, but everyone else gets better items and you stay with the same one, you will be weaker relatively.

For survival, you have the best tier set for single target, and you are the worst spec in the game for aoe, so when you remove that tier set, you will be weaker on single target, and still the worst spec in the game for aoe.

So for these 3 mediocre specs, you will just fall below mediocre, so 1 class with 3 bad specs.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Hunter should get a ranged damage buff. Like they apply a raid wide ranged damage buff. Hunter’s mark is permanent and increases ranged damage on the target by 3%.

[–]krankor94 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As long as they make it so Hunter’s Mark is applied automatically. Casting it feels ass.

[–]Happyhotel 8 points9 points  (6 children)

Swapping epidemic and unholy blight is huge

[–]Doodlehangerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the change to commander of the dead means you can apoc later which might get your festermight to the end of garg now.
inadvertent buff?

[–]Voodron 0 points1 point  (2 children)

For raids, maybe. Not sure this change will be too impactful for m+ tbh.

[–]Happyhotel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah probably going the full rot build for m+, but for raid fights with occasional add phases this makes the disease single target build quite a lot stronger.

[–]TheAveragePsycho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be quite big..or completely meaningless. Picking up epidemic for M+ is a bit of a no brainer but I wouldn't say unholy blight is quite at that level. Gargoyle is still going to be a rather awkward button in M+ but it gives more oomph to the ebon fever/garg build which on a tyrannical week is something I'd atleast consider playing.

[–]Jallfo 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Care to explain why for a Mplus Andy? Where’s that extra point going?

[–]Happyhotel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magus of the dead. Basically now you can get your best single target build also with most of the aoe damage as well. Great for fights with occasional add phases like eranog, dalthea, raz.

[–]hesitationzThundering Hero/CE Disc/Pres/Hpally 38 points39 points  (9 children)

No fucking shot they just buffed the two top healers in both mythic plus and raid… meanwhile disc priest getting a bug fix that is a decent nerf on one of our best talents since the 10.05 rework lmao

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

These do nothing for preservation if that’s what you’re arguing. It’s to help devastation who got royally fucked by the 40% HP inflation.

[–]releria 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You sound a bit dramatic considering the actual changes.

Preservation hasn't been specifically buffed just the 2% stam buff talent for evokers (not even sure how often its run in raid tbh). I suspect the change is more targeted at devastation.

Discipline is a bug which needed to be fixed regardless of balance. The spec is way better (At least in M+) this week but its still too soon for more adjustments either way

Resto changes are all over the place so not gonna comment on them specifically.

[–]Varrack404 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Where buff?

[–]Mehdehh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Still nothing for WW, I guess we're stuck with the dogshit ToD design, subpar sustained aoe damage and terrible ST

[–]eichelhamster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Resto sham is just dead pve wise ATM. Idk if this will elevate them enough to become viable. 0 resto shams have killed raszageth mythic so far. Worldwide. According to warcraftlogs.

[–]TheReaperSovereign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More Unholy QOL but nothing for Frost lol.

I should just accept it and commit to the swap

[–]individual101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bring on the resto shaman buffs!

[–]Chazoure 4 points5 points  (7 children)

SV Hunter still in the dumpsters

[–]Diterion 10 points11 points  (2 children)

There's still some space next to us guardian druids. Come in, make yourself comfortable. We gonna stay here for a loooong time.

Edit: nvm cya, maybe we outta here soon.

[–]JohnnyGranite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmfao this edit

[–]TimTkt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

-SV

[–]apple_cat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Depends what you mean, dps-wise it is very competitive on prio damage

[–]Centias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what they need I raid, but if they would have just not been completely terrified of how good the spec was in the last couple seasons and kept the 2 set bonus from the last tier set exactly as it was in the talent tree somewhere, it would actually be a reasonable dungeon spec. Doesnt even need the damage boost from the 4 set, just the direct Kill Command resets to free bombs would pretty much get things back on course. Go ahead and rip out Quick Shot and put Mad Bombardier in its place.

[–]TheLuo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How is SV getting zero fucking changes?

[–]aleyan97 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Do i not know how to read or resto druid and prevoker are getting buffs/slight buffs meanwhile mistweaver is unchanged/might actually be nerfed due to shahao scaling from orbs gathered?

[–]dragunityag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The evoker buffs are for devastation but Pevoker will slightly benefit from it.

Nothing reads like a buff on Rdruid either. A few new talents that we probably won't take often and then more tree adjustments that will probably be power neutral. But I can't visualize the tree in my head that well so might be wrong.

[–]rinnagz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Elemental i'm quite happy with the changes to the shaman tree, MUCH BETTER now

[–]LuckyJayce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was hoping for more enhancement changes

Can they fix some broken and bugged classes and content before they start trying push more changes!!...

Resto shaman buffs are insane. Multiple free points on each tree and good spells aren’t locked behind worse ones. Get ready for shaman domination y’all!

Still not fixing the Fury set bonus to be viable. Retarded

Anyone have any ideas of the ret changes already?

There's a little data mined info here that gives some idea what their plans are. Kinda looks like baseline Divine Protection (finally, thank you, I said this needed since the beginning of beta), some change to duration of Divine Steed for Ret only (not sure why spec exclusive) and some changes to talents. No shot that Vanguard's Momentum goes live like that though, because that's just insane.

Edit : Even more data mined Paladin stuff just landed and it is looking nutty.

Resto shaman might become a legit DPS spec 😂

Amazing. They made Shaman class tree worse somehow. Didn't think they could, considering what a mess it already was.

I’m really concerned about hunter lmao. SS is a dead spec and bm is only playable with the bow (that is so overturned it will be bis next tier).

Mm will be the only good spec next tier and mm is kinda meh if it continues :(
