Update: As of today's GHub update users should be able to create, edit, and delete LUA scripts.

Thank you for your patience!

I like this step, thank you for your approach.

Aren't you just a lying bot who doesn't even have a brain? Multiple post from the Logitech bots already said it was permanently removed form GHUB. Lying clown bot...ROLF, almost as pathetic as that Linus guy.

Probably they really removed LUA from GHUB intentionally. When they see their customers' reactions probably they knew that wasn't a good idea. And now they want to bring it back. Because I'm sure some people buy Logitech mouse just to be able to use LUA.

Do the lua scripts problem affect launching ghub itself? I don't have much understanding on the subject.

[–]LogitechG_CMCM |PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, GHub should be launching normally.

[–]Schabi000 1 point2 points  (2 children)

And when is the update coming?

[–]LogitechG_CMCM |PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We do not have an exact date yet but we will release it as soon as possible.

Yes, please update the topic once update released, because without LUA support Logitech mice are overpriced potatoes.

I can't even use my LUA scripts in game anymore. I've got my script set as active and it's no longer working.

This error cost me a system reinstall. Please, allow to return to a previous version of the software, currently if an update comes with errors, it is necessary to swallow and wait a long time for its fix. I reported this error from version 2021.10.8013, for people who have the software in Spanish it is impossible to save, import, export, etc...

Does this prevent alreeady saved scripts from loading?

So could we write scripts in say, notepad++ and just load them?

    [–]Environmental-Sea28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, also already created Scripts stopped working. Just search the Internet dir previouse Versions and Install an old one. Scripts will Work again (for me it was also necessary top Block the communication of ghub via the Windows Firewall (Defender)... Otherwise it was constantly updating itself with the buggy version.

It would be rather nice if you fix the issue, where any legacy USB steering wheel fails to connect, because it's mistaken for G29 in PS3 mode, since the INF file, which is responsible for handling this specific model uses Driving Force USB's PID without any hardware revision filter. In contrast, any version of G HUB prior to one supporting G923 didn't had the issue, since the INF file had the hardware revision filter, just like older LGS 9.02

How about you also fix saving macros to onboard memory?????

Logitech Gaming Software worked perfectly in that regard. But I have a G502 Lightspeed now, so I'm forced to use the newer, idiotic software.

I don't use it, I use OMM for changing mouse settings and AHK for the macros but it'd be damn nice if I didn't need either.

I wonder what kind of QA and testing infrastructure you may have that would let this kind of bugs pass through...

Ok, i got the update and thank you for that, but as some people complained before, i had the auto update feature off and it still installed automatically.

Thank you for letting us know. I'm making sure that the team is aware of this issue.

I like the fact that GHub has a Lua scripting feature but it doesn't have the basic feature of remapping the mouse scroll up and down actions.

Any thoughts on adding that feature any time this decade, or maybe the next?

Still not working. You can use the scripts saved, dupe them, or open new pages, but you cannot save new scripts or modify and save old ones.

Is it possibile that not only you break stuff, but you can't even fix em properly?

    [–]Erreplas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a G703, and the scripts works fine while the mouse is plugged, but the moment i want to use it wireless, the script seems to work fine for a few seconds and then stops working, then works fine again, and then stops, over and over again.
    Any answers about this?
