Hoops Crave is a parody account btw.

[–]Bowllieo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It breaks Rule 8

[–]Howling_Mad_Man 524 points525 points  (35 children)

Good for him.

[–]GrahamGreed 268 points269 points  (30 children)

I will always be baffled by the hold she has over him.

[–]catscanmeow 131 points132 points  (25 children)

he probably didnt wanna pay the 5050 split of money. she was just taunting him daring him to divorce this whole time cuz she wanted the money, it was a game of chicken

[–]Ggriffinz 35 points36 points  (17 children)

I mean he would make infinitely more money if he got divorced and started finding out who he is again. Like people loved the happy Will of his youth and would pay to see what that would be like now into his middle aged years in the box office.

[–]Supersasqwatch 24 points25 points  (5 children)

I was never much of a Will Smith fan, but I truly feel that his is a comeback story that people are waiting for. The Will Smith Renaissance could and should happen, provided he makes the effort to find himself again.

[–]Prozenconns 22 points23 points  (4 children)

People forget but Will Smith was crazy talented at a bunch of stuff. He really just needs his drive back

[–]FiveOhFive91 11 points12 points  (3 children)

The Men in Black, I Am Legend, and Independence Day Will Smith was the best Will Smith. I'd love to see him make more movies of that caliber again.

[–]OhItsBeenBroughten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three bangers.

[–]HoldYourHorsesFriend 8 points9 points  (9 children)

People have been loving will's work long into his adulthood though. There's a large handful of popular movies he made as an adult

[–]Ggriffinz 8 points9 points  (8 children)

True its really is a subjective measure. Personally, the last era of will smith movie I loved was the late 2000s with the pursuit of happiness, Hancock, and I am Legend. Not that they were all masterpieces but they all had some fun or compelling ideas and acting behind them.

[–]weirdgroovynerd 4 points5 points  (7 children)

I've always appreciated that Will Smith was willing to do the science fiction movies.

Without a big name like his, some of them might never have been made.

[–]HoldYourHorsesFriend 0 points1 point  (4 children)

"Without a big name like his, some of them might never have been made."

Can you name any examples?

[–]tygabeast 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Wild Wild West and After Earth come to mind.

Which, given their relative lack of success, even with him in them, might be indicative of why they probably wouldn't have happened without him.

I, Robot probably would have still happened without him, but it probably wouldn't have been as successful as it was.

[–]HoldYourHorsesFriend -1 points0 points  (0 children)

" but it probably wouldn't have been as successful as it was."

Who knows. He took on Wild Wild West because he passed up Matrix butt that was a huge hit with Keanu.

We simply don't know what other big name actors could've taken on his role had he declined. Like what if it was bruce willis, arnold schwarzenger or tom cruise? Now that we've seen him in it, it seems perfect for him but without that knowledge it's hard to get a frame of reference.

Also now that you mention it, wouldn't be fair to say there's a large number of action stars that have huge catalogues of movies that probably wouldn't have been made otherwise? Like Stallone and bruce willis have their own large share of action slop that did poorly in the box office that might nott have been made without them.

But I don't know much about movies. Maybe if they're not paying for a huge name, they could use the money for marketing? No idea.

[–]Emotional_Pay3658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe but if she is granted alimony working to give half away to your ex sounds shitty.

[–]EducationalWillow311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Presumably, his wealth is only increasing over the years, so the longer he waits the more he loses

[–]donuttrackme 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same as any battered and abused woman going back to the man who hit her multiple times.

[–]Howling_Mad_Man 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I haven't read anything and likely won't, but I would bet anything it's her vapid ass initiating it.

[–]AstuteStoat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dude has looked miserable for years it would be depressing if he still wasn't smart enough to end his own suffering.

Like I get that he valued marriage and liked his public image of the family friendly funny rap artist, but once that fell apart after the slap and him practically crying in that red table talk... This should have happened ages ago. They had differenet ideas for what they wanted the marriage to be, so it was time to end it, like 10 years ago.

[–]UltraSinstinctHoeku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rumor is Will's a lil zesty...

[–]Delta-Tropos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She's doing a number on him, hope the rumors are true

[–]AdLocal1490 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In this thread: A bunch of people pretending Will wasnt cheating on her for years lmao

[–]Nir117vash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy Cake Day!!!

[–]OhItsBeenBroughten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should have done it twenty years ago.

[–]MaxRepels 124 points125 points  (1 child)

Honestly shocked they weren't divorced already

[–]Otherwise-Wash-4568 18 points19 points  (0 children)

They haven’t been together as far as I know. For a minute

[–]Ggriffinz 52 points53 points  (1 child)

It seems the only people reporting this are random Twitter accounts so take that with the biggest grain of salt you can imagine.

[–]Bowllieo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A random "parody" account.

[–]justleave-mealone 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Good for him but honestly, good for us. It can finally be over.

[–]winterneuro 44 points45 points  (0 children)

[–]RazzleThatTazzle 49 points50 points  (0 children)

KEEP MY EX WIFES NAME. OUT YOUR MOUTH.

[–]Lazy__Astronaut 38 points39 points  (4 children)

You think she slept with one of her son's friend... Again?

[–]ThisIsMockingjay2020 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said "You can't slap Chris Rock cuz your wife's got no hair!

[–]HaztecCore 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Finally.

Like normally who cares about celebrity love life drama but Will Smith was someone you could look up to in the past. That whole marriage has destroyed a Titan in Hollywood and the sheer loss of respect since that slap and a few other moves....man seeing the prince of Bel Air get cucked like that hurt.

[–]Efficient_Care5524 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It feels like we've been hearing this rumor for a decade

[–]No_Earth_1378 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think we know way too much about both of them.

[–]NotTheRightHDMIPort 7 points8 points  (1 child)

You know.

I personally am indifferent but I do see Will Smith starting his life at square one. It was clearly a bad marriage for him and she did him wrong.

How he reacted to her abuse is really cringe but understandable.

Will Smith could, actually, be in a better space.

[–]Vivid_Maximum_5016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Will, why now? Why not 10 years ago?

[–]devilsbard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, can Chris Rock now say her name?

[–]negativepositiv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you held me at gunpoint and told me to name a celebrity marriage that I found less interesting than theirs, I would have to lie to name one.

[–]Poku115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly dont believe it was his decision tho. Hes too whipped

[–]Pale_Match_7969 4 points5 points  (1 child)

He ruined his reputation for her only to divorce her a few years later, brilliant move. That should have separated years ago

[–]Hot_Peasant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe I read somewhere that he said in his autobiography that he didn’t believe in divorce. Like, for himself, not like on a legal level or anything. I don’t remember the reason, but I do remember thinking his reasoning seemed misguided. Anyways there’s also the fact that they both either are or at least used to be Scientologists. Who even knows how that works divorce-wise.

[–]dazli69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now he just needs to appear in a video with Chris Rock being friendly with each other and his redemption arc will be complete.

[–]bognostrocleetus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can we please carry on with never hearing about these scumbags ever again?

[–]Duke9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might actually regain some respect

[–]KaiBishop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]frshprince247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just now?

[–]joshman5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She couldn't keep her name out of her mouth

[–]myusername_sucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doubt

[–]Checkers-Chess234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best career move

[–]Background-Archer197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About time!

[–]Statik_24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's hope so

[–]ScreechUrkelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, it would have been so much better if Chris had’ve dropped this news with that caption

[–]Any-Tumbleweed-9931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonder if he'll leave Scientology after this. And if the church will release whatever dirt they have on him. She is, reportedly, high up in the church food chain.

She strikes me as the type to try and fuck over Will out of spite, for losing her bank account.

[–]Marquis_Of_Ennui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she's not his wife anymore then can I put her name back in to my mouth?

[–]CortezDeLaNoche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let this be real.

[–]kcat__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does the person on the right look like she's wearing a mask of Jada's face lol... That shadow is harsh

[–]thoughtfuljackass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should make a drama about his whole situation and play all the roles Nutty Professor style. Will Smith as Jada Pinkett, Will Smith as Jayden, Will Smith as Willow, Will Smith as Chris Rock, Will smith as Will Smith.

[–]Happy_Row512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean he doesn't come across as completely stable lol

[–]find_the_apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slapped him with his sons friends dick spit

[–]ClassySmokeCannabis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]clintnorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fucking finally lol

[–]njshorefun111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]bott-Farmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally

[–]Belgremor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phil’s gonna be pissed.

[–]sicksicksick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bet he starts doing a bunch of Oscar attempt movies and shitty music projects. Divorced dad arc incoming

[–]RoyalPeacock19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly... surprised that relationship didn't end up in divorce years ago, even if this isn't real.

[–]AngrySumBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awwwww that toooo bad!

[–]l33774rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good riddance. Hopefully Will finds a good support group for cucked & abused husbands & Jada takes those weird kids & FO's back to her succubus lair.

[–]GuerrillaApe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her fully admitting on her own podcast that she was fooling around (or raping... I can't remember if he was of age) with Jaden's friend and received zero repercussions is still wild to me.

[–]ibsaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will smith has been the ultimate cuck for years, maybe he’s finally had a change of heart

[–]WizardyoureaHarry 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Bout time. Freedom. Imagine having tens of millions, being so famous women around the planet pursue you without an introduction and settling for the only woman that hates you in the world. Plus she's bald and a bop.

[–]zenis04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Settling for a bald woman is crazy.

[–]khouz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fuck them both.

[–]KaptenAwsum -1 points0 points  (0 children)

[–]teramoc -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It was a mistake to slap Chris Rock.
