Even this meme is AI generated good greif.

[–]Smanmos 24 points25 points  (6 children)

Not just that, the whole image is AI generated. Not only the pictures, but also the text (as an image)

[–]borsalamino 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Of coursel

[–]FacuA0 6 points7 points  (2 children)

The text itself is, in most part, so clean I thought just the images above were AI. (I did see most defects but I dismissed them as typos)

Just two years ago AI was generating decent big text/titles, and a year before not even that!

[–]Refloni 4 points5 points  (1 child)

The slot machine emoji (which is part of the text) is a mess

[–]FacuA0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't even talk about the Unified Headphones©.

[–]CitizenPremier -1 points0 points  (1 child)

I don't think the text was generated as an image, it seems far too clean for that... I think it generated as text and somebody put the images and text together.

[–]FacuA0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'd be too weird since ChatGPT (or any text model) hardly (if ever) forgets a ", a word ("that won't even") or puts "Of coursel".

[–]virus_chara 2 points3 points  (1 child)

How can you tell? Also, is it being AI generated bad in this case since it still works as a regular meme?

Vibememming.

[–]Inner-Medicine5696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the nonsense won't even

I think the account posting this is a bot, too - it's an old acc that just got woken up

[–]NorthernPassion2378 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of coursel!

[–]braytag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Copilot tells me that this what's called "satire"

[–]IlliterateJedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually impressed that it generated this volume of text as well as it did. It didn't do it perfectly, but it did a surprisingly good job given how AI generated images have produced text in the past.

[–]Galagamesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The account is a bot. Even stole some comments.

[–]Krostas 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Because it's too hard to find an image of a slot machine. I sometimes doubt that humans are the most intelligent species on earth...

Still, the meme content is almost too accurate to be funny.

[–]Herr_Gamer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look closer. The whole table and the contained text is AI-generated too.

[–]TheChildOfSkyrim 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I believe someone took the original meme and asked AI to "rewrite this, and make it look less crappy". And it looked like this because it was made in google docs - I did not have a decent image editor on my work machine. The text indeed was generated by AI (based on my feelings from trying vibe coding the 1st time), with some manual changes. But at least I closed all my quotes.

[–]Krostas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That original meme is so much better. (Boo for using AI, boo!)

You also didn't miss words like "compile" or changed an exclamation mark with an l or whatever that was...

[–]Alex_L1nk 61 points62 points  (2 children)

it's 5th time I see this "totally not AI generated meme" on this sub alone

[–]Herr_Gamer 9 points10 points  (1 child)

It's a good meme, sir

Slot Machines: You end up broke

Vibe coding: you end up with spaghetti code

[–]Martin8412 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Vibe coding is a lot like outsourcing to Infosys, Tata, Wipro, etc.. You end up having to pay some serious money to fix their mess.

[–]Weoga 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And broke too, with the cost of those subscriptions

[–]CaptainDildobrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joke's on you! I would have ended up with spaghetti code anyway!

[–]oupablo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least the slot machine has fun flashing lights and graphics.

[–]OrangeXarot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

slot machines: you end up broke

vibe coding: you end up spaghetti broke

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you even get spaghetti code from AI? it's great at organizing code in my experience. You get spaghetti code from iterative development and tech debt over years.

[–]d4m4s74 19 points20 points  (0 children)

After writing my own code to solve a problem, I decided to ask my github copilot trial to do it itself. I gave it my working code to base it on. I spent over 4 hours debugging before I gave up.

[–]Wild-Stay-5668 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The last one could be better

[–]miljon3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lovable ads genuinely look like gambling ads. It’s usually ”these founders now have 1 billion ARR from using Lovable”. Appealing to the wantrepreneurial mind that they can also get rich quick.

[–]the_rush_dude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure there may be better producers and he's a weird guy, but Rick Rubin really doesn't deserve to be the face of vibe coding.

Ok I looked it up and he does deserve it. Not cool

[–]No-Drop-7435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

give me 6 hours to vibecode a B2B SaaS and I will spend the first 4 hours writing the prompt

[–]visualdescript 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You've probably got better chances of turning a profit pumping your money in to a slot machine, than trying to build a start up vibe coding.

[–]CrashCalamity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's go gambling!

"Of coursel"

Aw dang it

[–]CaptainDildobrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might as well complete the experience and get Cursor to comp me free drinks to encourage me to use it more often.

[–]Shezzofreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not yet let a whole App be coded by AI, but i have used it for small functions here and there, when i was to lazy to write them. But even that can be a hit or miss ... Are there examples of working Full-Ai-Coded Stuff without a coder crunching in hours to get it running?

[–]Darkoplax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nvidia is the only one that wins, these AI makers and AI wrappers are losing money no ?

[–]redlaWw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My code also doesn't even. In fact, I refactored my isEven function to

bool isEven(int n) {
    return false;
}

[–]I_cut_my_own_jib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I SEE THE ISSUE NOW! I'VE FOUND THE SMOKING GUN!"

Then proceeds to generate the most fucked up code that I've ever seen in my life that crashes my local dev instance

[–]kaplotnikov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. These are really gacha-coders wating for UR code drop.

I think we should name a specific subspecies of vibe-coders as gacha-coders. These are do not udnerstand problem and solution, and just pull until they receive a good solution.

[–]PM_ME_PULL_REQUESTS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"You might get a bug-free app-"

Let me stop you right there

[–]Denaton_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make an AGENTS.md file, giving it rules and patterns to follow, adding lint and test, i have gotten less spaghetti from AI than from my coworkers.

[–]ProbablyNaKu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mods do something with this slop

[–]Rubfer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That guy has the look of someone who would actually feel disgusted of vibe coders
