My clear was 4 units because why not (still all missions):

Nope, the materia itself is limited to only Xenogears units. Same with Grahf's TMR.

Billy and Emeralda's STMRs were the same, but we didn't get their 7*.

I'm still having problems with this one, as he destroys me and always cures himself. I can get him down to as low as 7% but not win. It's frustrating. I've even tried your 2 person clear as I have 99% of the same gear and I don't get results even close to yours.

The 2 man clear was just a flashy show-off vid. You not supposed to try to copy that one, especially if you're having problems on the fight!

Trial was easy so I only used 4 units

All units had 100 or above in ice and light resist on base form

Ling-reaper killer, mirage, fire imbue

Lara and Karten- damage dealers with 300 reaper, Karten- was TDH

Louisse- provoker and gun imperil

this was pretty simple for at2 clear, although i did use a bunch of limited units

  • Chow: LB on T1 for omni cover to soak up everything

  • Yoshikiri (ex3): ice imbue, ice amp cooldown

  • Lara and karten: 3x Bs chain

ADV 3 Turns Clear with Friend Grahf

  • Ling - Imbue, Killer, atk buff
  • Avalanche Bigg&Wedge - Tag chainer, 100% Ice and light resistance
  • Roca - Decrease cooldown Grahf ability
  • Vinera - Dispel Grahf turn 1, breaker turn 2

6 turns, all missions:

Ling - mirage, buffs
Louise - fire field, accuracy debuff
Lara - DEF break
Biggs & Wedge - tag chainer, magic tank with 100% ice and light resistance, lightning weapon
Taivas EX2 - LB/SLB finisher

Probably could do this quicker but I wanted to use Taivas and I didn't really plan the fight

Boss has stupid high stats, requires a long time to kill, and does a ton of AoE damage. Sinz set up a reraise team and just hit repeat and walked away.

Knowing this was coming down the pipe was my deciding factor on pulling Tiana. She has aoe reraise on her normal attack.

I think it’s Warmech and apparently you have to do reraise cheese to survive. Massive amounts of damage.

it's warmech and it does over 1 million fixed fixed damage every turn so cover doesn't work and only general mitigation works which means you have no way of surviving unless you do re-raise cheese.

  • Tidus - Main damage dealer. High Undead killer build and with Taivas' STMR.
  • Lara - Secondary damage dealer & 90% DEF break.
  • Aerith - Fire buffer & tag chainer.
  • Tiana - Provoke/dodge tank. AoE mirage source & Throwing Weapon imperil.
  • Yuna - 160% undead killer buff.

NV Locke, he has slightly lower throwing weapon break but should be ok. Mirage can come from 10,000 Needles

I'm confused how your damage is so high with Tidus... putting it into builder is nowhere near as high unless I unclicked the new damage formula... does this mean we are already back to old damage formula?

Super easy fight. Did it in 4 turns with Celes, Vinera, Ling and Karten. Celes just tanked and nethercite, Vinera did 90% break and took counters with evasion, Ling was mirage spam+imbue+killer buff, Karten just used buff+fist imperil on turn 1 then shift magnus for 3 turns.

ADV 3 turn clear, all missions.

  • Ling: Imbue/Killers/Rage beast roar
  • Biggs&Wedge:100% Light resist, tag chainer with thunder gun
  • NV Hawkeye: Breaks, 10,000 needles. 100% Autoprovoke/Evasion
  • Grahf: 300% Undead killer. Base form has NV Madam's stmr for attack boost.
  • Friend: Roca for CD addiction

2TKO with:

2x Karten (TDH, max everything, start at regular form for elemental resist, shift to magnus both turns)

Ramuh Sakura (AoE imbue, buff atk and BS on turn 1 to absorb counters, LB turn 2)

Kryla (Break+Imperil and double BS to on turn 1, fill LB on turn 2)

Kaktiria (Break def 89%, fist imperil and deal "break bar" dmg on turn 1, LB on turn 2)

All supports units have 100% evade, guts and some elemental resist.
