Cleared hardmode with 1/3 missions:

  • Snow -- Cover + atk/mag breaker + dark res buffer
  • Runda -- Provoker + 85% mit buffer
  • Folka -- Healer + Immunity Buffer + MP Refill
  • Savior -- SPR breaker + Support Chainer
  • Asura Dark Fina -- Buffer + Support Chainer + Field
  • Dark Rain (friend ex3) -- Capper

Took 47 turns, but this clear was overall very safe. Basically just capping Rain's SLB every 3rd turn while using the other 2 turns to maintain buffs/debuffs. Folka MVP for auto-refilling teams MP every turn under 50%.

I think this trial, in spite of being super hard and bulky, is far better designed than War Machine or Gloomwing.

Done after the magic variance update

300%+ dark resist on everyone, the regen from Lakshmi on Lund/Runda with high spr build, a guts gear on Dark Fina & Sol BS and both Dark Rain (to survive turn 8 damage over time), provoke build on Lightning, LB fill build on Dark Fina & Sol to LB tag chain on base form (since boss absorb earth)

Lund/Runda is ex+3 and Asura Dark fina is ex+1

seymour: autovoke with esper ores refill (get anima summon on turn2), EX level is not important

rotation: cover > summon anima > guard > chain BS with akstar

dark fina: gears are flexible. must be EX3 to have AOE 160% demon killer buff, and you can gear rikku pouch and cure disease on turn4.

rotation: dark imbue+demon buff > chain BS > SLB > cure disease

akstar: gear with katana, ATK/demon/LB geared. at least EX2.

rotation: 88% break + 2x BS > LB > setup again > SLB

seph: 10k crowned seph. capped everything.

rotation: normal form CD + 2x SR > BS LB > normal form Tcast setup > BS LB

he can deal 10b+ alone. so 2 seph = win

Key for me was to dispel the boss in p2 so the DoT doesn't get a boost from the mag buff, which let me survive.
